What I like about Rabin is he is unapologetically himself when playing early Yes music! Besides the fact he tries to be an EVH clone, he at least isn’t a Howe wannabe.

Pretty freaky to hear Trevor Rabin playing on this rather than Steve Howe.

IIRC they opened a good number of Union tour shows with this song; the middle part would have a Howe solo first, and then a good five minutes of Trev's shred duet with Alan, so the full song would be a good 16-17 minutes. Of all of the 'covers' of 70's Yes they did with Rabin, Yours Is No Disgrace is pretty easily my favorite, something about it is more complimentary to his very-80's style of playing (though as I said above, the full two-minute EVH Eruption-style bit is really, _really_ over the top).

3:26 - Jon's vocoder harmonies don't really cut it here! That said, I like the Rabin versions of this song, they're different in an interesting way (but Tony Kaye is still the least-talented keyboard player Yes ever had).

Okay, the Van Halen shredding starting at 6:40 is a bit much...

Agreed with both points about Rabin and Kaye (even though Kaye played on the original recording). I love the contrast between Rabin and Howe’s styles and enjoy that we get to hear very different versions and takes of great songs.

And I love the Van Halen shredding in the solo because it is so different than the beautiful melodic solos of the Yessongs version. Thankful that Yes has had two amazing guitarists and we can always go back and listen to whichever versions suit us in the moment

Tony Kaye is a great keyboardist, he just isn't flashy like Rick Wakeman or Patrick Moraz.

i wouldn't say the least talented, because Tony is talented as fuck, but he is definitely the least known Yes keyboardist
