And remember… all ways QUESTION authority in the wrong hands! ( are there any right ones?? )😶
He is my favorite hero in DC comics especially in Justice League Unlimited episode Fearful Symmetry (First appearance) he had an amazing voice actor and when my state had its first ever comic con I went as him. To my knowledge Victor not in his alter ego look is a red head with brown eyes so WB needs to either find an actor with those qualifications or use a wig with contacts and also wearing the same outfit In Justice League Unlimited. Hopefully they can hire Jeffrey Combs or hire him to play as the Voice Actor using the same one in the JLU cartoon when the real life actor wears the faceless mask.

But the pseudoderm was highly volatile in open wounds and infected areas not to mention highly reactive when expose to certain chemicals. Twaine starts selling a semi perfected version to criminal organizarion from hub city to gotham, metroplis chicago detriot etc. Vic dons a perfected pseudoderm mask created by prof. Rodor after years of continued work refining the formula creating an aerosol solution than help counter act the harmful effects of pseudoderm as well as chemical altered the pygmentation of a pseudoderm laced fabrics cosmetics. Doning his new mask vic gathers enough evidence to have twaine arrested and criminal ring exposed with the help of new found allies batman, green arrow, blue beetle and young gcpd detective renee montaya who vic forms a partnership and later on mentorship as after years of crime fighting have taken a told on vic sage mind and his newly gained violent streak causing him tobe able to continue his work decides to semi retires entrusting the mantle to his protege and friend renee who becomes the question while vic continues to support her a the rorschach a mysterious P.I. rumored to be a conspiracy theorist working on a staged ww3 plot linked to powerful govemrment turned insaned homeless man that dons a mask of shifting ink blobs.

Another Fun Fact: sometimes he won’t be able to hear you talking too him because he has no face.
Love it.Great character.I find him kinda similar to The Shadow.
I wish he'd get a movie
He would fit in to well in the Reeves Batman world.
I prefer they use original Charleston comic run, not DC version
The Question is based on the character Mr. A by Ayn Rand (Steve Ditko was a diehard Randian objectivist.). Denny O’Neill did away with most of that.
A question movie could be fascinating.
The Question is but a Few of my various types of favorite comicbook characters of which has Been The Batman,Red Robin,The Hourman,Doctor Midnite,The Phantom Stranger Doctor Fate,The Scarlet Avenger,The Spectre,The Shadow,The Spirit,The Phantom,The Rocketeer,The Ghost,The Green Hornet,The Green Lama,The Green Arrow,Deadman,The Bat,Zorro,The Lone Ranger, and others as the More mysterious and far More Darker characters in comics as a Group not actually Being featured in various types of comicbooks nowadays and hopefully they Will get to that eventually.
Charlton Comics.
I always loved his incarnation in justice league ultimate
The Question is Batman's original personality, I feel.
The Question movie would be great 👍
where does the pannel from 3:23 come from?
"Wow..I had no idea that the Girl Scouts were behind the crop-circle phenomenon."
"Very few do..Even fewer ever choose to ask the question..."
The Question is actually a derivative character. He was largely based on the pulp hero The Shadow. Including the "lacking a face" aspect which appears in one of the pulp stories the name of which is escaping me at the moment (this story also likely inspired the early version of the villain Clay-face)
Edit: the name of the story is "The Red Blot"
Other characters which were based on The Shadow:
Batman (the first story is literally plagiarized from the Shadow story Partners in Peril)
Darkman
Mr. A
V (V for Vendetta)
Darkwing Duck
The Silver Shroud
Rorschach is tangentially inspired as he was a take on The Question
I would love a live-action the Question
I’ve only known about this character for the last 20 years or so but I really dig the overall. The DCEU unfortunately is hit or miss these days so I don’t think a stand alone feature would work. However due to the success of shows such as Peacemaker I believe he is definitely worthy of his own series. PLEASE HBO MAX, PICK THIS UP BEFORE IT BECOMES STALE!!!! And remember… all ways QUESTION authority in the wrong hands! ( are there any right ones?? )😶
The Question reminds me a bit of Rorschach from the Watchmen
Question was supposed to be in watchmen but dc got cold feet...we got rorschach
If they make a film or show.... similar to denny O'Neil's run in the comics....it could be amazing
Imagine a noir-style show in the DCU…would be really awesome to see!
The question is the closest to the Batman. And I mean that intellectually wise. But I think batman would win because of how intelligent is. But the question is highly underrated.
I like the way in batman the brave and the bold and the JLU animated series they used the same star trek actor.
Interesting pitch for a question what if: vic sage as rorschach and renee as the question; by this i mean have both heroes be a detective duo with vic being the more grizzled objectivist veteran mentoring the zen renee montoya. Say vic was once a controversial investigative journalist for his strict ideals and black and white morality but was also known for afiery temper that got him i nto problems. Professor rodor contacts him for asistance on a case regarding his colleague dr twaine ilegally mass producing their experimental invetion pseudoderm a artificial skin esque bandage for medical application such as prothesis covering or reconstructive surgery. Doning his new mask vic gathers enough evidence to have twaine arrested and criminal ring exposed with the help of new found allies batman, green arrow, blue beetle and young gcpd detective renee montaya who vic forms a partnership and later on mentorship as after years of crime fighting have taken a told on vic sage mind and his newly gained violent streak causing him tobe able to continue his work decides to semi retires entrusting the mantle to his protege and friend renee who becomes the question while vic continues to support her a the rorschach a mysterious P.I. rumored to be a conspiracy theorist working on a staged ww3 plot linked to powerful govemrment turned insaned homeless man that dons a mask of shifting ink blobs.
i upvote the question all day everyday, but do you know why the question, rather than the question itself?
Why were you guys using footage of Jack Ryder from the Batman The Animated Series episode "Beware the Creeper" towards the end of the episode? Did you guys really think we wouldn't notice? He had plenty of screentime and footage in Justice League Unlimited, why not use some more of that?
9:10 And the people of Gotham thought the Riddler had taken over! Oops!
Slenderman has been really quite lately.
Did Question ever have a battle of wits with Riddler?
Not that I know of, but I hope so. It would be amazing.
Yes he did. During Dennis O'Neil's run, Question was on a bus that Riddler was holding up and had to confound him with philosophical paradoxes to distract him from simply shooting his gun. As Riddler was getting arrested, he explained that he delves in riddles to avoid thinking about those kinds of questions whereas Sage confronts them head-on.
@@seantaylor424 Leave it to Sage to be the smartest man in the hold up
@@seantaylor424 That is correct and it was a good story =)
@@seantaylor424 Thanks! I'll have to see if I can find it to give it a read.
The voice of him in JL is so similar to Pedro Pascal
I would like to see the question in James gunn dcu reboot in the near future
He reminds me of a Japanese Yokai called the Nopperabō.
