    THANK GOD. for a Texas lawyer. My question, in Texas if you are hired to work in a different position, a different title at a higher pay then a few months later the company decides to eliminate that position. Then you are assigned to another position at a liwer pay is this legal? Is it called a lateral transfer. Thank you.

    Any Texas laws around telling a non--exempt employee - "Sorry, there is no work today", if the scheduled work was cancelled and/or doesn't exist?

    Is there a scenario where a manager who has fired a many employees in a short amount of time reducing the total amount of employees by less than 15 people due to harassment and possible unfair payment practice can have a complaint file against them for unlawful termination?

    So last year my boss had promised me and my brother a raise if we decided not to move. So we got a new apartment in town. But he never gave us a raise, fired my brother, and said i had to become a driver. Do i have a case?
