Dear people. This video is done in order to raise an awareness for what Indian people are facing in Malta. As i said in the video, this is NOT whats ALL Indians are going thru, but majority yes, and they are being silent about it. We are all humans and we need to have the same rights! Also, please pay attention to those Hindi speaking RUclipsrs who say that Malta is a paradise on Earth for Indians, they benefit from your views by giving you a wrong vision about Malta!
Malta is still better than India, and UAE where their superiors treat Indians as slaves and make them work like robots with no money for overtime. As, mostly Indians are doing odd jobs in Malta.
I'm so glad someone posted something like this. The racism here is insane and on top of what you mentioned, minorities here experience alot discrimination from random people on the street. It's so disgusting how they get called names and get shamed for working low wage jobs. Reminder that without these people, we wouldn't have food delivery, a large employment in the tourism industry and much more. People have no empathy or humanity and it's sickening.
From your Canadian friends: thank you for bringing this issue to light. It is important that someone speaks up for these atrocities. In some cases, this is not a problem experienced alone in Malta, but around the world. It takes a brave man to speak to difficult issues. It is not always a bed of roses.
@@AlexinMalta Thanks for ur compassion towards Indian immigrant labours. But apart from casual racism of curry & spice 🤣, working conditions & human rights laws r much better in Europe than Qatar & ME. So it's a win win situation for Europe & Indian labours. Europe will be safe from extremists refugees asylum seekers & Indian labours will get better human rights laws conditions of workplace.
Well these people are usually laborers who want to send money to their family to have a better life back home so they try to reduce their expense as much as possible. They usually come alone and prefer a 260 Euro per bed than renting out an entire apartment. However what Canada does to its international students is a lot worse. They get exploited by employers as well as spend their parents savings here hoping of a better tomorrow.
@@surojeetchatterji9966 doesn't change the facts , even poor Africans get more respect than Indians in western world , we indians happy with little things but we are talking about equality
i’m so glad a video like this is on the internet, i love that you’re contributing to spreading awareness of the harsh realities that indians, and even other nationalities face in malta. i’m maltese but have a different racial and ethnic background, and the racism and ethnocentrism here can be so disgusting. this is prevalent in a lot of customer service jobs, and other jobs the maltese don’t take (yet complain about foreigners ‘taking their jobs’, the ones they don’t bother to take. that’s just one of many examples of how the maltese treat foreigners so poorly. THANK YOU 👏🏽👏🏽
I am from the Netherlands, and last May I visited a friend from India who has been living and working in Malta for 5 years. I stayed in a nice hotel. How shocked I am, he had not received any wages for the last 3 months. He works as a security guard. The hostel was full of black mold on the walls. He lives in the ..therose hostel in st julians. He was sick, coughed up blood and had a fever, this is terrible. They live and sleep like animals in a cage! Now he had an ear infection again, last year he had been in the hospital. This cannot and should not happen!!!
Hey Alex. Very sad to see how people are exploited. But to be honest, this state of affairs is quite common in many countries. Many bachelors are willing to stay in such accommodations just so that they can send home some money to their families. Thank you for sharing this video. Not many people are honest about the living conditions. They just want to paint the picture colourfully so that more agencies can bring people to live in such conditions.
@@jibokomiuli no to be abused is not better than India my parents are from India. Live in portugal, they pay to get here once here they live so sadly, 20 euros a day. They get a portuguese passport and run in 5 years to germany and france. There they make 60 euros a day but so expensive and 3 months of snow they still do agriculture hotels and labouring jobs. They remain on visa there. Portugal is cheaper to live in they dont need heating in winter. People are in bad times in europe. In uk people are dying to the tune of 500 a week as no hospitals are doing well. Plus gas for heating homes is 2500 a year. Many end up mental wrecks working long hours. Even techies from india suffer. Being a charted accountant from uk i have buisness here. So many are comming and drink like mad as potugal has cheap booze. The 1 bed flats old ones start at 90 lakhs indian. Many say 60 came on golden visa with money to invest in property. The days of living in west on low money is humiliating. In uk on tv you see them queing in food banks. In london dont take jobs below 150,000 pounds, i say it for techies google medical system in uk has collapsed. A tooth removal is £200,out side london in other cities professionals should not accept below £80.000. In portugal too govt health service is crumbling as indians who earn low had children in portimao hospital.,for free now its out in the papers that indians abused the system. So in south portugal area called algarve they are not doing maternity for foreigneers, i wish Indian you tubers would stop lying about things in uk and europe. Google and see free govt health service in canada has collapsed. Only come if on high salaries.
Hi Alex, I wanted to give a message to your viewers. Guys Alex is the only person who can trust if you are planning to move to malta. Whatever he said each and every word is 100% correct. You guys can trust Alex more than your best friend’s word about malta. I have contacted him so many times to get solutions for different reasons and all the times at least he is trying to help his best. You are a very humble person and thanks for your humanity ❤️. I came to malta like 2 years ago. But still I am watching your videos. Still I am gathering so much information from your channel. Keep it up bro. Love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Hi Alex 👋 Started watching your videos since my husband was planning to move to Malta 6 months back. Fortunately, he is in a highly skilled job. Definitely, we found your information closer to reality than other Indian or Asian vloggers who showcase attractive info. and mislead our people. Thank you for your generosity.
Lucky you are..better stay in India. I am living in Europe and I Know most of people from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal doing worst after paying huge money to agents. Better way secure good job and then come otherwise big NO
Oh! Dear Alex, what a wonderful eloquent spoken you are. Why are Indian people treated so badly, they are the most hard working and peaceful race unlike some others. But you are 100% right to say sometimes they are exploited by their own. It is so nice to see a lovely Maltese man bringing awareness on this matter. May god bless you. This is coming from an Indian lady who is born and brought up in the UK.
When you say Indians are the most hard working and peaceful then you are displaying your ignorance. All ethnic groups have hard working people and peaceful people. I'm Indian myself and this "peaceful Gandhi" nonsensical image has done us a lot of damage.
@@silentstorm718 indians and Chinese are 2 of the most hard working people and are rising powers but the west is jealous of us that’s why their media defames India and China.
You were born and brought up in UK so you don't have any knowledge of what Indians are facing in India. People are being killed for their religious and political beliefs... Indians are ready to do anything to sacrifice everything move to a peaceful location.
Alex, you are so geniune and full of compassion❤️. Thank you for caring and having empathy for us Indians. Indians have been working in Qatar and middle East in sub human conditions but no one from those countries told Indians about the harsh reality. We really appreciate the fact that you are addressing these issues and bringing the truth to the people🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Spot on Alex. Majority of South East Asian countries individuals are living their life as you explained. All of them have been shown livid images of Malta and once they arrive here, they are left on their own. Unfortunately, a lot of people from India, Nepal and Pakistan are also having these ‘so-called’ agencies to get them here. If anyone is reading this, if you have been offered a dream which is too good to be true, do not believe that!! It’s a scam. Malta just want workers, no families.
The way you are so concerned and affected by these situations speaks volume of your compassionate nature. Keep doing amazing job of spreading awareness. 👏
As a Maltese person, I always feel terrible knowing what Indians have to go through here. Most Maltese people don't like foreigners and I find it sad that people who move here for a better life get shit on because of were there from. But you get any hate from me, I love you guys.
Thank you @AlexinMalta You are a great human as you feel for all and not just your country men and you speak from the heart. To anyone, who is reading, what Alex said is 100% correct. I’m in Malta and when I was looking for apartment, I was struggling even with agents from 5 different agencies working in parallel, and no one was able to find me an apartment because landlords in Malta don’t want Indians, stating that we cook food with spices, which is ridiculous as I’m not sure which odour/smell/ fragrance/ scent can stay stuck to a thing/ room forever. They even don’t care if you earn decent and probably are in a better job than them. These landlords are not even interested as they are suckers for other Europeans. Sorry about saying this but this is what I felt. For people who say no one invited us here, should ask people who have restaurants here, who were about to close because they had no man power to support business when visas were not getting approved due to Covid. I would also like to remind them that, when someone is coming from another country, the country benefits from the hard work and brain of the immigrant. Getting a legal immigration ensures that. However, I see this only with greedy landlords not everyone. Most of the Maltese people are otherwise warm and friendly and so is this great landlady educated in all respects whom I found only with luck. I am quite qualified and educated, work in decent job in banking sector, but at one point was on verge of not finding a place to live for me and my family just because I’m an Indian and had to ultimately settle for a much higher rent than I originally budgeted due to lack of options.
I had to pay 14000 euros to come to Malta. And after arriving me and my friend faced many problems. Also the cost in Malta was very high. So I was forced to leave Malta. Now I'm in Poland, and I'm fine. But I love Malta so much because in 4 months I've adopted Malta as my own country. I have a video image of the whole country in my heart. I will come again to see the country to cool my heart.
Hello Alex I'm Canadian and live in Toronto. Your videos are amazing . You come across as a real person . Your good vibes come through your posts . This post demonstrates the sad part about Malta but you present it to us . I thank you for that reality as difficult as it was . Keep up the good work .
and as alex says, it's mostly indians exploiting other indians, the same in canada. Maltese people would rather just keep the unit empty. yes, the maltese are racist... beats exploiting the vulnerable though.
This goes on in the UK too, recently a two year old boy died from mould because the house was in a shocking state. This is simply landlords greed and NO LAW they get away with it. Here in the UK too
Being an Indian, I can totally relate with what you're saying... For I have seen myself, having lived in Spain, some of the Indians living over there are so selfish and greedy that they would try to take advantage of the illegal migrants... Charging €1000 for what you could get even for free, if one happens to be living there legally. I hate such people who totally forget the humanity in order to become greedy and selfish. Luckily, I didn't have to put up with such greedy people.
Even in India you can find " no indian policy" in some tourist places.... thanks for telling us the truth. So sad that in 2022 even with money in our hands we are still treated like that all around the world !
Your video should be broadcast on our local channels in India. Where most people are dragging in to this. You are a brave hero I hope you get more reach and recognition.
My salute for your hard working. Thank you so much for sharing the reality of Malta. From this video I have learned that before moving to a new country we must make sure to have all the required skills and qualifications. Otherwise it will be a hell. Again I encourage you to do more and more videos like this. And God bless you for your kind heart.
Well done Alex… you are being so true!! You are giving people a honest review of the reality of these people who had high hope and searching fora better life but at the end… false hope. So thank you for giving these info for these people. We love you and we send you good vibe😊😊😊
Im Maltese and what you are saying is very true, many immigrants end up as modern day slaves, Malta is in a bad situation both for immigrants and for locals as the country is overpopulated, only a few business owners and landlords are getting richer on their backs
Overall, it shows you are a compassionate and kind person. Bless you and hope more people are like you who cares for other people no matter who or where they came from. God bless you!
Great work brother. Not every South Asian like spicy food. Typical stereotypes everywhere. I guess InDian government and people are too lineant and hospitable on foreign tourist. These foreigners in india doing all kind of illegal activities, jobs, businesses. Hurting cultural values and traditions. yet no one bothers, no one post or say anything negative about them. Vrindavan,Agra, manali, Jaipur, Goa, rishikesh ! They r everywhere in india ,doing all kind of stuff, yet respected as tourist.
Really good video. You said the truth. I have experience living with Indians and Nepalis. There were several of them in the apartment, and every day one of them cooked. Every day I smelled the strong smell of spices until I started coughing. So I understand that someone does not want to accommodate them or that someone does not want to live with them
I do think that many of the people who pursue these types of jobs in foreign countries need to be more responsible about the decisions they make. I live in Dubai and have met many people interested in jumping at any opportunity to get work in a Western country but they don’t seem to make the slightest effort to get basic information about the country much less try to find out what the conditions on the ground really are. For example I’ve met people wanting to go to Portugal yet they haven’t even bothered to find out where it’s located, what language is spoken and other basic details. Yet they were told by an agent, friend or relative that they can make such and such amount of money and are ready to jump. These people are all adults and they need to be more critical and responsible when it comes to making major decisions. 0:01
It is very sad that this can happen in my home country Malta. Thank you for having the courage to speak up and warn others so that they know what they will encounter if they do decide to come. Well done.
Thanks for being so courageous and telling things how they are. You have communicated a perspective that I was wondering about when I visited 3 weeks ago for 1 week. I love your country and it's important you communicate things how they are, it doesn't take anything away from it because the situation is universal. As I am typing this I hear you apologizing. Do not be sorry, to be successful on YT you need to be authentic and real. Thank you.
I got back from Dubai last week. I was in Dubai for 11 days and 3 days in Muscat - total 2 weeks. There are many Indians races working in these Middle -east countries. Your perspective about them is very much appreciated as you are telling the truth
Do you really understand how Maltese people feel? Malta is one of the most populated places on Earth, its just a piece of rock compared to other countries .As for the driver in the rain, its unfortunate that he got stuck in heavy rains but do say that we go for months without any rain and its not a dly occurrence!.
Yes i completely understand how Maltese feel, starting from the ones that want to make €5720 by renting these apartments, then to the employers who want to pay €4.75 for this workers, and lastly the sad reality of the new Maltese generations that cannot find work as no Maltese wants to work for €4.75 per hour
Only a few Maltese are gaining from this situation, the rest of us feel trapped and frustrated seeing what has become of Malta with overpopulation construction and rise in crime
We Indians are used to this kind of treatment everywhere. We are strong and we have no problem in working hard to make little money. All we need is opportunity. India cannot provide jobs to a billion people. So we are forced to search for jobs abroad. One day things will get better for us.
Hi Alex, Malta is usually a microcosm of what is happening everywhere else in the world. I live in Canada and know Indians or South Asians who work 2 or even 3 jobs. High rents, especially in Toronto and larger cities, minimum wage, and the burden of trying to not only live a decent life, but also having to or being obligated to support families back in India. The Indian government surely has to bear the blame for some of this.
In india increasing salary is not that hard. If all people unite the minimum wage could be increased to atleast 2-4x and it will also increase inflation to 2-3x . But ultimately things will be affordable to us. Like travelling, buying laptops , cars etc. But indian govt is not doing it or focusing on it so that india remains cheap labour Paradise . Being cheap labour paradise you goet food and home but cannot enjoy life as other things are still expensive.
Thank you for addressing this situation even though is a difficult subject. It's horrible the conditions the Indian people are exposed here in Malta... the agencies are crows, they shouldn't even exist, it's the closest to slavery on this century. And the deliveries are paid like 3€ per hour, a joke! To whoever reading this, remember to always tip your deliveries...
There is still real slavery in Africa and Asia. Why do you think they want to live the Gulf countries?! Immigrants there are virtual slaves there, their passports are confiscated by the employers as soon as they arrive, they are paid way bellow what they were promised, sometimes they are not paid, they are beaten and degraded. That is why they want to come to Malta and the EU.
What's wrong with 6 beds in one large room? British and Aussie backpackers are more than happy to sleep like that in South East Asia. You have to consider the price! 260/month is 9 euros/day. That's cheap, even for backpackers who have very little money. These Indian guys come here to make as much money as possible for a few years and then go home, kick back and enjoy the fruits of their labour. They are mainly young lads, happy to rough it for a while and save their money. They don't come to Malta to settle down and make families. They probably have a good bit of banter in these "dorms". The person who suffers here is the landlord, he will have to replace the bathroom/kitchen every few years due to heavy use, and possibly the neighbours due to noise. Let me tell you, i've personally seen much worse conditions in London (people sharing beds on shifts, 8 hours each).
You, and people who share the same opinion as you is the problem in this society! But if i have to come down to you level, let me do the math. Did you see the photos of the kitchen and the bathroom ? Those together cost 3K for sure! The monthly income these landlords are making is €5.7K equal to €68,400 per year. If they have to change bathroom and kitchen every year they CAN and they will still keep huge profit.
@@AlexinMalta So what? What's the problem? As i said, many young British people travel the world and stay in dorms like this, its normal if you are on a tight budget and want your money to stretch. People like yourself, have migrated permanently and expect a better standard of living. These Indians are on a cash grab. Go to London, you will find many people from all over the world living like this to get some money behind them. Then they move on to better things. These Indians and the Maltese landlords - both are doing OK out of the arrangement. If you have your way and this stops, the Indians will lose out. The landlords will have to rent to East Europeans instead - i'm sure the landlords prefer decent Indians, they are less trouble.
Alex, what ever you said 100% true✌️ I regularly follow ur videos from India, here truth is in India most of Indian people who working in Malta they show heaven in there RUclips videos about europe, then they started consultancy in India by side business Most of middle class people attract with there life styles &videos of Malta & europe as well as facilities and mostly about income "1 euro equal to approximately 85 Indian rupee" So, they work hard& hard and then they send money back to India even they don't care about health. ( Most of Indian work atleast 12 hr in India) If they work in Same job or any hard job r 12-15 hr they income are increase they family lives happy in india. Now a days most of Indian consultancy blaming about Malta i.e europe work visa reject due to change in Govt of Malta. Most of consultancy doing crores of fraud bussiness on Malta(work visa) approval & principle letter, finally VFS reject the visa. Consultancies accept unlimited applications they provide only 2-5% success ratio on every 100 applications😭 Finally show the reality of Indian people jobs & life styles in Malta in ur upcoming videos. Thankyou❤️
@@AlexinMalta thank you Alex , i heart fully respect you, do a video about work visa it helps lots of people of Asians show the reality work Thank you in advance ❤️
Thats is what called true information thanks Alex you are truly doing a great work However, there are lots of Indian youtuber spreading fake information. Thanks Alex I hope I meet you in person in jan 2023
I appreciate you saying the truth. The problem is ,we use lot of spices for our cooking and has a different smell and taste.Changing to a different life style is so easy .But the hard area is changing taste of food . After coming here I faced the same situation. With my 5 year old son I was searching a Appartment .We were asked to come and view appartmets and we reach the site 3-5 minutes late by bus ,by the time that Appartment will be given to somebody else. It's true we face some problems, some of them were due to Our lack understanding about this island, some problems already inherited within us, some problems as you said inhumanity..... Some times the salary will not support , to have a quality life and sufficient only for, just survival. Thank you so much for doing this topic👍👍👍👍
Are you still staying in Malta, coz i need some info about education and students. I got an offer letter there in Global college of Malta for my MBA. may be you might be able to help me with the info . tq
The problem is not the Maltese not accepting 3rd world country foreigners but the government. The issue is balance, Malta went from very few Indians to New Delhi in 1 year. So locals hate this and it will look like racism but its actually about the Maltese culture and identiry fading away.
Yikes, I am not indian but my culture is related to Hinduism. I applied a few jobs in Malta in the Accounting industry and tbf, this kinda throws me off now pushing me to look around in other European Countries. Imagine someone leaving their home country, wanting to improve their life in a country all alone and they have to face all of that? Absolutely despicable...
Thank you so much for posting this…coming from a person like you who is living and experiencing this for yourself and then posting this online is bold in itself. Thank you for sharing this with us…every word you said about Indians keeping quite and suffering is true because being an Indian myself I know and understand the core reasons why they leave their homeland to other countries… and with the low wage rates it a point to be concerned…some of these Indians sell their homes and jewellery any many more things just to come there and bring money to survive…and this is how they are greeted and that too by another Indian lady trying to accommodate so many people in one apartment that is a bit too much. As you mentioned no discouragement but people need to wake up. I too was planning to come to Malta…but after this I’ll have to reconsider. Thank you from your Indian friend 😊 Take care and keep smiling
Instead of moving all over the world, it would be best if Indians choose their own country to live in and improve the life standards there. Nothing more best that cleaning own house and not abandoning it when its dirty. Otherwise this will be the case in any country where you will be on mercy of those people and you can do nothing about it if they choose to treat you bad. It is a bloody world and Indians need to stop insulting their own land and also stop abandoning it rather than fixing it.
A big Thank you Alex for bringing reality Indians are facing currently 🥲 Anyways, this is actually very disturbing, disgraceful and unacceptable plus compromising for us at the same time! Well, I am Indian (North) and just arrived on 7th dec' 2022 in Msida, Malta We all love you and support you Alex 🤍 All the very best. 🌈
@@AlexinMalta What about hotel industry reality brother.. Many people in india they said in malta hotel provide you accomodation with food us well and after all end of the month you receive 700e Is that comfortably stay and survive with it?
Hi Alex I believe that if one is employing they have to pay everyone that give them a dignified life like they would pay a Maltese. As per re. The renting out to Indians....I used to rent out my apartment but when I rented out the apartment to a person from Nigeria my place end up to be a dump. It was a horrible experience apart from having to deal with them. My sister lives in a block of apartments and for a time there were Indians living there that in just a few weeks the apartment was a dump and the drain were clogged. So I am sorry as much as I agree with you that all these people should have the same opportunities and treated with dignity and respect; I would never recommend to rent out to Indians etc. I am not a racist at all. I am just writing the other part of reality. Having said that 7 beds in one room is inhumane. I would never do that.
Just because some are not clean you cannot judge everyone like that, because our house owner has many flats rented to Indians and he is happy with us .
I agree with many points, however people should give a chance to Indians, if they see that after 2 months the state of the apartment is not good they can negotiate to cancell the agreement, im sure this can be included into contracts
It’s a tough one. I have friends who work in real estate here in Australia. The cooking/spices seems to be a real issue. Often when Indians who have moved out of an apartment - they then find them hard to rent out as the smell does seem to linger, almost like it gets in to the plaster and walls. I’ve experienced it myself. Of course people are free to cook whatever food they like. Is it a particular spice or something that seems to stay behind? If anyone knows, and also knows anyway to clean or remove the smell, let me know! I can pass the information on to my real estate friends
@@AlexinMalta the thing is that the expenses incurred after giving a chance; of which I did because I am a firm believer that everyone is the same in this world!! But the damage and the expenses that I had to spend in order to get the house to be liveable and in a rentable state does not make it worth the hassle!
Is sad actually. And the worst is that they escape to Portugal and there they might find even worse conditions. Well, i am Portuguese and live in Malta because of lack of opportunities there. Indians might work picking fruits and so on, but there is also lack of dignity in the conditions they offer to this people. I heard that some of them are there illegally, too. Is an hard situation to manage, in the end of the day, because there are also European people unemployed because Indians accept to work in any conditions. Maybe european countries should just accept people from abroad if they already come with a job that offers them dignity and is not possible to hire an European person. But is very hard situation, i feel very sorry for them, but also for the European People that suffers in silence, unemployed and sometimes without food in the table for some days.
Feel ashamed to be of Indian origin at times due to this.. I wish we get the population control bill soon so that the next generation at least wouldn't have to be this way
I have seen it with my own eyes, it's inhuman how they are treating people here, specially the delivery workers. May God bless them with better living standards
An Indian community, or non-European communities do not belong in Malta or European countries in general. Locals will begin to take advantage of them if they see that there is an opportunity. Another reason why multi-culturalism sucks.
@@AlexinMalta It very much looks like this is being imposed on European/Western countries only. Mass immigration is not a problem in other parts of the world.
@@AlexinMalta My bad. You're right of course. Exploitation happens everywhere. In the West, we pardon ourselves from this exploitation by calling it multiculturalism. I do not believe that cultures should be mixed at these terrible levels. I really appreciated your video btw.

Got to watch a really meaningful real life miseries post from a super sensible presenter. Wish the world had more of good souls like you who can deep dive into human sufferings cutting across all race and nationalities. Appreciate your intentions and sincerity.
Being from Dubai it’s very interesting to get this video recommended. It saddens me that these people aren’t happy in Dubai and in the UAE but I do understand that our immigration is very stern and we do not really let people immigrate into our country and get the citizenship. Along with them progressing in their careers. I hope that we improve and eventually be a country that can make people feel like this is this permanent home. Nonetheless, I wish them the best in their future and I hope that we shall be a better place for them in the future. We thank them for all their service in developing our country/cities. Thank you for your video aswell. I’ve been to Valletta. Beautiful country. Keep it up.
This is why I would support visiting the country as a tourist before deciding to live in it, so you can check out the situation. Also, I'm curious, after all these years, why aren't the Indians in the UAE aware of the situation? Why hasn't it gone public/viral?
it is public and viral, everyone knows, over 1.4 billion indians, there is a percentage of people who do not follow social media and they end up into situations like this
Bro, u said very well & true but unfortunately we don't have more option of good income here. now it's very difficult to maintain family expenses. Due to better kids education, better future etc. indian are moving to another country. But i hope one day our india will comeback with a great economy, and all of us who r moving will come back to our motherland, Thnx.
Thanks Alex for throwing light on some of the conditions, which lot of Indians or people coming from other Asian countries are not aware of , now atleast they would analyse and check thingf properly before planning to move there.....from your views, you seem to be a gem of a person with a generous heart beating for humanity...more power and more viewers and subscribers to you bro.
Make a video of how the maltese feel. We are cramped! Super overpopulated! Malta is ruined thanks to our greedy government. And things will get worse! Yes malta is very expensive even for the maltese. Just think how we can fit all these foreigners on this tiny rock. Not just indians but from all over the globe! The low wages are for the maltese also! Do your homework before being robbed here.

Respect to u a lot bro for keeping it real and talking about the difficulties faced by specific communities especially students from all over the globe.
It's been going on for years Alex. Some, not all, Maltese owners let their properties to Europeans, Russians and others who then sub-let to foreigners who come to work in Malta. I know of apartments in Marsa and Paola that are 2 bedroom with 10 guys sharing, each paying 250 a month. The apartments are unfurnished and full of mould. As long as people keep coming to Malta that are willing to work long hours for minimum wages, it won't stop. Cheaply-built blocks of flats built with only breeze-blocks (held together with only spots of cement) erected by some of Malta's so-called 'Major developers, have been rushed because the contractors KNEW the Govt were wanting 50,000 Asian and African workers to come to 'help the economy'. Greed, simple. Pure greed. I fitted aluminium doors and windows in many of these new builds and we could never believe how they were built. You can see daylight through the gaps in these walls that then get plastered lol. First sign of winter and they become damp-infested.
Did you refuse to work for these extortionists you’re talking about? It’s easy to point the finger. You’re helping them because you want your pay check.

These things unfortunately happen in every country in the world. The greed for money make whole nations forget who they are and where they came from. Respect is just another word which exists only in a dictionary.
It’s not the greed of the country. It’s the human beings. It goes both ways. If these people didn’t put up with such treatment, their wouldn’t be landlords who do this.
Alex, I don’t condone this. Unfortunately, you have to remember what kind of environment some of these people come from. Most definitely from comfort and luxury. It’s a huge step up for them.
You're correct on all reasons Except for the fact that it's not true that Maltese don't rent to Indians Many Maltese people are finding it hard to find rent because of flats mostly rented by Indians We have thousands arriving by the week
You should do a similar video for Filipinos in Malta! There are over 3,000 🙌
Alex you should take care how and what somebody is replying on your behalf to your subscribers
Malta is still better than India, and UAE where their superiors treat Indians as slaves and make them work like robots with no money for overtime. As, mostly Indians are doing odd jobs in Malta.
Very true Alex. No place is heaven on earth. We need to struggle and suffer to get something after all. No country is perfect 🙏
You did a nice job and we stand with you... It is happening with me also
I'm so glad someone posted something like this.
Migrants from Afric, Arabs and other foreigners could easily replace South Asians to cover low-paying jobs
Who is the minority in this case
Than stay home. Access to white people is not a human right
From your Canadian friends: thank you for bringing this issue to light. It is important that someone speaks up for these atrocities. In some cases, this is not a problem experienced alone in Malta, but around the world. It takes a brave man to speak to difficult issues. It is not always a bed of roses.
Thank you! Facts

@@AlexinMalta Thanks for ur compassion towards Indian immigrant labours.
They get exploited by employers as well as spend their parents savings here hoping of a better tomorrow.

i’m so glad a video like this is on the internet, i love that you’re contributing to spreading awareness of the harsh realities that indians, and even other nationalities face in malta. i’m maltese but have a different racial and ethnic background, and the racism and ethnocentrism here can be so disgusting. this is prevalent in a lot of customer service jobs, and other jobs the maltese don’t take (yet complain about foreigners ‘taking their jobs’, the ones they don’t bother to take. that’s just one of many examples of how the maltese treat foreigners so poorly.

❤️thanks my dear
But it still is far far better than india. Something is better than nothing.
@@jibokomiuli no to be abused is not better than India my parents are from India. Live in portugal, they pay to get here once here they live so sadly, 20 euros a day. They remain on visa there. Portugal is cheaper to live in they dont need heating in winter. People are in bad times in europe.
Why don’t they go back to india if they’re offended?
Because Indians are desperate and poor and trying to get into Europe. Lynching other religious minorities is not peaceful is it.
@@silentstorm718 indians and Chinese are 2 of the most hard working people and are rising powers but the west is jealous of us that’s why their media defames India and China.

Being an Indian, I can totally relate with what you're saying... For I have seen myself, having lived in Spain, some of the Indians living over there are so selfish and greedy that they would try to take advantage of the illegal migrants...
Well done.

Malta is one of the most populated places on Earth, its just a piece of rock compared to other countries .As for the driver in the rain, its unfortunate that he got stuck in heavy rains but do say that we go for months without any rain and its not a dly occurrence!.

Y the govt but
It was people's choice to go abroad not just Indians but others too and it doesn't meet ur exception y blame other's
Indians can live a great life in india but choose to be slaves in canada its thier fault
What is bad about working three jobs to support family. It is good thing. People situations are different.

And the deliveries are paid like 3€ per hour, a joke! To whoever reading this, remember to always tip your deliveries...
Difficult subject yes, i thought twice before posting this video

We can have a never ending conversation Paul, and i dont have energy spare to waste with you

The problem is not the Maltese not accepting 3rd world country foreigners but the government. The issue is balance, Malta went from very few Indians to New Delhi in 1 year. So locals hate this and it will look like racism but its actually about the Maltese culture and identiry fading away.

It is a bloody world and Indians need to stop insulting their own land and also stop abandoning it rather than fixing it.
u might be right

Anyways, this is actually very disturbing, disgraceful and unacceptable plus compromising for us at the same time!
Well, I am Indian (North) and just arrived on 7th dec' 2022 in Msida, Malta
We all love you and support you Alex 🤍
All the very best. 🌈
🤝😊
Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts Alex.

Hi
still better to live in overcrowded apartment in eu than staying in some mumbai slums. sad but real.
For some yes
Hi Alex very nice video as usual what you advice shall indians come to malta or they should look for other options
If you didn't understand what he said, then you should stay in Mumbai.
@@libatalklieb5793 I understood that's why I asked him his advice
@@libatalklieb5793 you keep your advice with you where I should stay
If you can secure a better job opportunity with 1200e and above for 40h a week, then yes, if not, i believe Portugal would be better option❤
@@AlexinMalta What about hotel industry reality brother..
Many people in india they said in malta hotel provide you accomodation with food us well and after all end of the month you receive 700e
Is that comfortably stay and survive with it?
Good to see you putting out the real facts and situations in malta 🇲🇹 so clearly. 😊👍🏻
@@jameswalker68 Yes there is a sticker that can be stuck on to the walls prone to cooking oil and spices, which can be removed and discarded .
@@AlexinMalta the thing is that the expenses incurred after giving a chance; of which I did because I am a firm believer that everyone is the same in this world!! But the damage and the expenses that I had to spend in order to get the house to be liveable and in a rentable state does not make it worth the hassle!
Hello Alex, from Australia. Don’t apologise for getting angry, it shows your humanity. Keep up the good work.
You explained well, unfortunately Indian people around the world are being used with no dignity and people always try to profit thru them
Feel ashamed to be of Indian origin at times due to this.. I wish we get the population control bill soon so that the next generation at least wouldn't have to be this way
I have seen it with my own eyes, it's inhuman how they are treating people here, specially the delivery workers. May God bless them with better living standards
🙏🏼❤️
An Indian community, or non-European communities do not belong in Malta or European countries in general. Locals will begin to take advantage of them if they see that there is an opportunity. Another reason why multi-culturalism sucks.
thats all over the world, unfortunately
@@AlexinMalta It very much looks like this is being imposed on European/Western countries only. Mass immigration is not a problem in other parts of the world.
@@JeanParisot it is in the middle east as well, where everyone is looked only as a number and cheap labor
@@AlexinMalta My bad. You're right of course. Exploitation happens everywhere. In the West, we pardon ourselves from this exploitation by calling it multiculturalism.
I do not believe that cultures should be mixed at these terrible levels.
I really appreciated your video btw.
@@JeanParisot thank you 👍🏻🙏🏼
Thank you for voicing this. This is a window to another side of scenarios.
The problem is the greed we have here. You have pointed out all the abuse happening here!
Thank you for doing what you're doing ❤️
The Indians are greedier than everyone else.
@@libatalklieb5793 does it matter who is greedier? Point is, that the greed you find on this island is insane!

Got to watch a really meaningful real life miseries post from a super sensible presenter.
Wish the world had more of good souls like you who can deep dive into human sufferings cutting across all race and nationalities.
Appreciate your intentions and sincerity.
Our country over populated..... thank you
Indeed
Keep it up.
I am from Turkey and i will be reallocating to Malta by january and i swear i will use as much spice as I can
Lets cook together )
Are you Indian?
Oh no spice is my nightmare. 😅🤣
Guess what, i love Turkish food❤
Yes, true, thanks for commenting
Thanks Alex for throwing light on some of the conditions, which lot of Indians or people coming from other Asian countries are not aware of , now atleast they would analyse and check thingf properly before planning to move there.....from your views, you seem to be a gem of a person with a generous heart beating for humanity...more power and more viewers and subscribers to you bro.
Nobody called them to come to the European Union. Those jobs should be for Europeans
You hit the nail on the head. These people will change the way you live.
@@azharuddin3314 What is your point?
Those jobs should be for Europeans, but guess what, the greedy employers would “sell their nation” for cheap labour…
@@AlexinMalta Your country would do the same.
@@libatalklieb5793 ...maybe his country already does that. 🧐 🤔

Thanx Alex for showing us the reality. This information is very important for me as I'm from India and planning to move to malta.
Good luck my friend❤
Make a video of how the maltese feel. We are cramped! Super overpopulated! Malta is ruined thanks to our greedy government. And things will get worse! Yes malta is very expensive even for the maltese. Just think how we can fit all these foreigners on this tiny rock. Not just indians but from all over the globe! The low wages are for the maltese also! Do your homework before being robbed here.

....and the problem is ..??They keep on coming.....In fact some say they are better off here !!!!
Yes
Thankyou for letting us know the reality of the life over there, I appreciate it
It's been going on for years Alex.
Hi!. Is there any construction company that you recommend? Who actually built with quality?
Did you refuse to work for these extortionists you’re talking about? It’s easy to point the finger. You’re helping them because you want your pay check.

These things unfortunately happen in every country in the world. The greed for money make whole nations forget who they are and where they came from. Respect is just another word which exists only in a dictionary.
It’s not the greed of the country. It’s the human beings. It goes both ways. If these people didn’t put up with such treatment, their wouldn’t be landlords who do this.
Agree
Hi Alex.. I like the way you explained the things. First time I saw your video. Very informative one.

Alex, I don’t condone this. Unfortunately, you have to remember what kind of environment some of these people come from. Most definitely from comfort and luxury. It’s a huge step up for them.
Still, they are used!

Why should we receive all those people in the EU in the first place?
Maybe because the greedy employers want to pay low wages ?
@@ardentenv you are right, it is the employers who want cheap labor.
You're correct on all reasons
Except for the fact that it's not true that Maltese don't rent to Indians
