Ride the Wild Wind definitely. Takes me back to early 90s in a very cool way. Same with Don't Try So Hard. Also Bijou is so poignant, reminds me of the Beatles "Because" on their last album.
My favourites are Bijou and Don't Try So Hard. I always felt since 1991 when first hearing my Bijou that the guitar and Freddie's singing to it was his passage into the afterlife. The tone of the guitar is very spiritual and divine. "Don't try so hard" is Freddie's wisdom and as you say don't take everything too Seriously
Brian wrote a song about his cat too. It is called All Dead, and is actually quite good with a nice video. Brian said he never really got over the death of his cat as a teen
The non singles the singles the b sides of innuendo i like it all, each song has a story to tell. Each song has its own unique sound/meaning. I appreciate this queen album because it was released while i was in my first year in high school.
As always, you analyses on the non-single songs on Innuendo are spot on. Bijou, Hitman, Don’t Try So Hard, and Ride The Wild Wind are among my favorites. I do differ with you about Bijou, however. Bijou: adjective BRITISH adjective: bijou (especially of a residence or business establishment) small and elegant. nounARCHAIC noun: bijou; plural noun: bijoux a jewel or trinket. I like to think while Garden Lodge wasn’t “small” by any stretch, it is a British adjective for a residence and Garden Lodge was elegant. I could see Freddie thinking his beloved Garden Lodge as his Bijou and writing the song about it. I have my other thoughts on why I think it could be about Garden Lodge. Thanks again for a wonderful video on a fantastic and very underrated album.
I love them all especially Deliah and I think Brian may way being mardy. If freddie can't write and sing a fun song about his favourite cat who he was probably heartbroken he was going to die and not see her anymore is abit mean it's a cute and fun song an not supposed to be to serious. Shame on you Brian 😁 Don't try so hard is brilliant & freddies vocals are amazing. Really enjoyed this thank you only 1 fault it was to short 😁 whens your next 1? Lolll 👍👍
The non single songs are really good especially Bijou. Delilah tbh is honestly the weirdest Queen song that I’ve ever heard. I like it a lot, but it’s so weird especially with the meows.
Well done. According to Queen's Discography Ride the Wild Wind was #1 in Poland. Who knew? My favourites are Bijou and Don't Try So Hard. The bridge in Don't Try So Hard is so positive. I don't know how Freddie kept so upbeat when he knew the end was so near. In an interview I just read Roger said he wasn't just a cup half full person, he was a cup full person. Sounds like a joy to have around.

@@TheaterPup My problem with that album is that Queen dabbled in a lot of my least favorite genres like Disco (Radio Gaga and I Want To Break Free) and Hair Metal (Hammer To Fall). As for the instrumentation, everything is filled with so much compression and reverb that it starts to sound artificial. Not to mention that the album is very campy in a bad way
What are your thoughts on Innuendo's non singles? Which is your favourite?

I love innuendo's non-singles. Non of them are my favourite because in my mind they're all equal.
I really like Ride The Wild Wind (and I Can’t Live With You even though it’s a single)

I’ve always loved Bijou too. Beautifully haunting song.
Yes, my two favorites❤️🖤

My friend has a cat named Delilah. I introduced him to Freddie's song, he was delighted, lol.

Brilliant Fine Arts!👍🏻Really enjoyed the analysis of the songs, pointing things out that have me thinking...🤔❤️

Couldn’t agree more with what you said about Delilah 😅

Loved the vid, well done 👍

Thank you and thank Freddie and Queen.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
2:03 super mario cart, queen expansion
Delilah is a momentary trainwreck. But the rest of Innuendo is good, it's my favorite Queen album!
Hey I know I’m late but my birthday had just happened 3 days ago on April first
Bijou what a beautiful song .
Bijou was in The Godfather
It was played twice , the second time was in the end credis
The Hitman was also on A.O.R
Great video:)
If Queen made more albums like Innuendo, and less albums like The Works, I'd respect them more
What's wrong with The Works? Just curious.
