What a great example of how an odd grouping + orchestration can make a 16th note fill sound so complex. Love how the snare moves around. Love the left-hand lead! Glad I discovered your channel - I'm now a subscriber.
I’m beginner drummer Easy to learn, you’re the best instructor 👍 Please show us how to play along with the song, and when to fill’s Thank you very much ❤
Man! It’s really cool feel ( group of 5) Nice idea to play it from the left hand!! And thanks for the video! I felt like I played the drums, but I was just watching your video!) I mean to watch your video it’s the same effect with the real practice time with a drum set!!
Thanks. Great easy fill pattern that is very versatile. I threw in some crash cymbals with the kicks and really used the spread around the kit for the LRL.
Starting on the down beat of 1: 1 e n a, 2e n a, 3 e n a, 4 e n a. Play the 5 note pattern all the way through 3 times and add an accented left after the last time you play 2 kicks. Then crash on the one. Start with the examples at 40 bpm and try to count along with the video.
Awesome lesson! Somedays I only have about 15 - 30 minutes to hop on my e drum and this session was perfect for my schedule. Subscribed as well 🙏🏿
Thanks! I’m glad you found this valuable! I will be sure to keep making more quick and effective sessions! 🙏🏿
