Alta, Utah is currently at 720”s so far. We skied the hole in the wall at Mammoth in late June. Must be climate change it snowing. Oh yeah that’s weather
Alta Ski Resort may get more snow than it's neighbor Snowbird Ski Resort but Snowbird Ski Resort winter season always last longer. Why? Because the bottom of the lifts is flat and in spring skiing conditions you know that's slowville. Also the U.S. Forrest Service may shut down their season after a date in April.
For the sake or our forced conversion to the metric system please give the snow depth in millimeters......20,320 mm. I once installed windows in Scotland. Instead of 4-0 × 4-0 windows they were called 1220 × 1220.
800 inches /36 = 22.2222222222 yards. 1 Yard is nearly 1 meter. 1 meter is 39.3701 inches. so 3.37 inches rounded longer than a yard. So you can take off one yard for every 10 years giving an easy near equvilent. So 22.2222 years is near 20 meters. As long as they haven't altered their measurs to 24 inches to the foot. With 10 toes to a foot (A decimal foot), then 800 toes would be 80 feet. 20 feet short of a centerpead. It doesn't make any sense to me why they would use inches when they also have yards in their imperial system.
Would you want somebody using heavy equipment to clean snow off of your roof nobody would want that liability that's a pure absurd statement that would be like somebody doing brain surgery using a hatchet
This AI voice is a cure for insomnia
Half these pictures were NOT of Mammoth.
It might start snowing next fall before it all melts! Looking forward to a spring run down from Tahoe!

Insane

The flooding downstream this spring will be biblical
M. T. Baker..in Washington...Ha... FYI Mr. computer voice, M. T. stands for Mount.
Click Bait. There is not 800 inches of snow in Mammoth. 667" as of today at Main Lodge. The record since 1968 is 668.5".
800 inches /36 = 22.2222222222 yards. Are you sure of 22 yards deep of snow?
It melts throughout the season...doesn’t all stick...
:even amid the challenges posed by the Pandemic" They misspelled New-some again
Your statistics are wrong, plus you randomly put pictures of other areas. Clickbait News.
"Potentially easing the drought"? Go eat some crickets...
At least kaliphonya has an excuse to keep their head in the sand with water management.
Darn global warming strikes again. Hand me a beer!
Why not use back hoes to scoop the snow off the roof tops? We need every asset deployed for these people.
Would you want somebody using heavy equipment to clean snow off of your roof nobody would want that liability that's a pure absurd statement that would be like somebody doing brain surgery using a hatchet
If you're trying to prevent a roof from caving in, putting a backhoe on top of it is not the answer.
Why not use a Bulldozer to plant tomato seeds?
66 + feet......
So good ! Alta is at 60 feet now , should get to 800 also .
