Thanks for keeping it real. I am 63 years old this week. A year ago I could barely walk. And am still struggling with health issues. As you can imagine my apartment is a total wreck. Thanks for your videos. I have been slowly but surely making progress. Your way of doing and looking at yourself and your life is inspiring. Love and respect to you and your family.
Awww....I know how you feel! Remi has helped me so much! I'm 67, 2 strokes in less than a year, car problems, etc...and this is helping me get on my feet again. I feel a kindred spirit with Remi...she has managed to describe my life "to a T", and I actually feel better about myself. I don't feel so alone ❤😁👍
I'm a very organised person who cleans as I go and so is my family but my partner isn't. We often clash when he makes messes and gets overwhelmed by them because I feel the mess can be sorted in a short time anyway or at least prevented to some degree. Your videos have really opened my eyes to what he might be going through! I love the kindness you show yourself and your loved ones. It made me realise that this is the love and understanding my partner deserves. He's a lovely man and messes are just part of the package :)
Just tried a 10 minute clean.. it felt like 1 minute 😖 I felt completely deflated, a failure as I looked around. SO, I gave myself another 30 minutes on my timer and had my kitchen cleared and clean with 8 minutes to spare 😊 🏆 The moral of this message .. Be Kind To Yourself !! 💕💕
Heck, it takes me 11 minutes just to make my bed. This is partly because my mother was a high-end, professional maid who taught me to make a bed with military corners and smooth, tight sheets you could bounce a quarter off of, and partly because my fiance loves my decorating style and wanted so many decorative pillows on the bed we now have a total of 13 pillows.😂 Fortunately, he will also make the bed for me, being the prince that he is. But I often DO timed cleanings also--both to get motivated and to get a house in general order fast.
What works for one person might not work for another. If you need 30 minutes to get it done, then take that 30 minutes. Otherwise you'll just end up being frustrated and overwhelmed. Instead of doing what Remi does, be inspired by her to find YOUR own path! Love that you found your zone.
Remi I love your videos - you’re the most relatable and real cleaning blog that I’ve ever watched - and I’ve watched lots! I can identify with so much with what you say and actually, you’ve made me feel SOO much better about how I run my flat. You’ve had such a positive effect on my mental health so thank you ❤
I just discovered your channel. I really appreciate seeing a “real house” cleaning So many of these clean with me videos is people cleaning an already clean house! I definitely am one who enjoys these kinds of videos as motivation to help me get threw house work
Omg, thank you for this idea, the timer!!!! This week has been so bad, I cried everyday this week missing my boyfriend. I found him passed away in his kitchen almost four years ago. My life pretty much stopped and many times feel as I have no good reason to be here any longer. After finding you four weeks ago, I have been able to get back into a small routine and it has helped me so much. I'll be going to my son's tomorrow for a few days to celebrate the fourth of July. He has a large house with a swimming pool and I will be around the ones I love. After watching this I got busy on parts of my house so when I come back in a few days, my house will be in a clean state to welcome me back. Thanks Remi, keep it up😅. You're perfect and inspiring❤
Love that you don't shame your children about their messes. I did the same when I was raising my son. I wasn't so lucky growing up. I was messy and it was very unexpectable in my family and it made me feel very bad about myself. It took many years to get over those feelings and accept and love myself completely. Love your voice over and your sharing your truth. You are doing such a great job!
I have adhd, I just found your videos, ended up binging a whole load of them, deep cleaning the bathroom and the bedroom, and hoovering round. You’re amazing, it’s a relief to see realistic and achievable tips. Keep up the good work!
Hi Remi, I've just come across your channel, and have a few pennies to toss into the thought jar... Don't worry, it's mostly kind! First, whatever someone else thinks about your housekeeping, or family life... Sod 'em. I'm a big fan of "Not my circus, not my monkeys." The way you live your life isn't any of their concern, so they can just bugger off. Your kids are safe, fed, happy, you have a partner, your own house, that's so much better than what others have, as you say in your videos, so in my book (and I'm sure many others), that's fan-bloody-tastic!! Next up... Laundry... omg the laundry! It's just my husband and myself, and I detest it. I can't imagine it with kids too! I've found having laundry baskets instead of hampers helps! A hamper will carry 2-3 loads of laundry, and it takes half a day to wash through it all. Instead I use laundry baskets, which a basket holds 1 load of laundry. When the basket is full, it's time to toss a load in the wash. I find it keeps the piles down and clothes cleaned when needed. Now as to folding and putting laundry away, I got nothing for that, I struggle there, too! Hahaha I do find that the 'pick up as you go' works for me if starting from a spotless point, but after a while, tasks and chores pile up, and tasks are more important (grocery shopping, picking husband up or dropping him off, etc), and the 'do it as you go' gets tossed aside to save time. Instead I've found that if I leave 30mins before bed to walk around and just pick up things like plates, fizzy pop cans, little bits of tissue or wrappers or what have you, that helps keep the little clutter bits down, and I go to bed feeling accomplished, even if just for that little thing, because it's a task that is completed. I sleep better for it, wake up feeling better, and ready to do another 30mins in each room in the mornings, a different room each day. It's been a huge help for myself, and it might be something that helps you as well. Most importantly though, I just wanted to leave a message to let you know that you certainly are not alone! I've gone back to university in my 40's as I still have enough time to get an entire career in before retiring, and I find the time just disappears between studies and keeping up with daily tasks like homework/study, cooking, errands, etc. Anyways, thank you for posting these videos! They are inspirational and motivational, and so much positivity which is sorely lacking these days! Thank you for sharing, and I can't wait to see what you put up next!
Remy, this video is awesome--Those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind--is my personal motto. I would quote that to my kids almost daily. I struggle CONSTANTLY with executive functioning difficulties. Growing up, my mom was (still is) a neat freak-she comments on how clean a home is and will clean a home if she feels it is not clean enough for her standards. I would panic if she would show up unannounced. Cleaning anxiety is real, just getting started on the task can be so overwhelming. I have to set a timer just to get started. I feel so comforted to know I am not alone in this world, we must be soul sisters :)
I think this 10 min thing is an amazing idea. I'm always challenging myself to see how much I can do whilst the kettle boils or what I can do whilst the microwaves cooking etc xxx
I couldn't agree more! We cannot please ALL people and in truth, we shouldn't have to. I say just BE YOU! Love your honesty and am thankful that people like you are sharing real life moments that others can relate to. God bless you and your little family!
TOTALLY agree with your view on child play and your view on mess. My adult sons favorite memories are from turning their rooms into forts, castles, and/or battlefields.
I’m 65 and I’ve been this way all my life. I didn’t know I had executive dysfunction until a few years ago. I’ve gone through guilt for many years. Glad that you have learned how to cope. Good for you!! Keep up the good work!
I’m nearly 62 and discovered I have executive dysfunction too but have only just realised it. I thought I was just lazy and useless. Explains a lot of issues I’ve had both at school and work. Love the videos .
I came over to your channel from Tik Tok. I do the timer challenge but I do 15 minutes instead of 10. Dont let people dictate to you how you live and make you feel bad if youre messy. I know from watching your Tik Toks that you work as well as doing Tik tok. I think you are loely and so down to earth. Keep the videos coming. xxxxx
Remi, You are seen and I feel seen too, now! I have just discovered your videos and I feel like we are kindred spirits. I hunkered down and took all of the abuse from my family and friends about choosing to be present in my young children's lives instead of keeping an immaculate home. My home was always clean, but always messy. Trust me when I tell you that now my children are adults, they appreciated my presence and reflect on how it impacted them as they compared themselves to their friends who's parents weren't. You do you. Always.
I make my room a dumping ground which doesn't help because it's a single room. Sometimes I go to bed forgetting that I have put things on my bed so on the floor it goes because I'm too tired to bother. It annoys me but watching you videos makes me realise I'm not alone. I think my menopause is taking my energy. I'm going to try this 60 minute challenge. Thanks for keeping me sane Remi x
Remi, I'm so glad I found your channel as I'm exactly like you and my house mushrooms with clutter. I like that you have a great insight into your challenges and are so honest without blaming anyone else. I hope channel keeps on growing.
I stumbled upon your video while searching for something else to watch, as I began another wasted day procrastinating from tidying and cleaning my own apartment because I'm overwhelmed daily by the thought of how to start what always seems like a monumental task. I'm so glad I did! 😊 Everything you said about yourself, your varied health and financial challenges and how you cope Life with a young family in a post-COVID worldwide economic crisis rang true with me. I was touched with admiration and inspired by your positive outlook and hope for a better Tomorrow. 🤗 Your calm, empathic, motivational attitude and sweet voice kept my attention as I watched you bravely tackle each task singlehandedly, without judgement or complain. I have ADHD, OCD, executive dysfunction and I don't mind cleaning and tidying, which I do for others - I just struggle doing it at my own home. 😱 I like the way you manage your To Do List. It's the best I've seen and I'll be doing mine your way from now. Thank you again for sharing your story and for teaching us how to skillfully overcome being overwhelmed when trying to maintain a clean and organised home. 👍
I've seen so many comments like this! Happened on Remi's video and loved it! "I'm the same way, I struggle with these issues, your openness makes me feel understood, your voice and voice-overs are amazing to listen to, I'm using some of Remi's methods, etc." I think it's so cool that we're forming a supportive, caring community here. Thanks, Remi!
"But I've done it now" 😂 I really enjoy rewatching while cleaning your voice overs are the best when I don't have someone to body double. I'm always entertained too!
Oh wow. You are so like me. After 50plus years you have shown me that I am not lazy. Loving your videos and everything you say makes so much sense to me. Thank you soooooooo much. Much love me respect from Australia 🥰
Oh , Remi, I just love you! I was near tears thinking about how I've had trash on my counters because emptying the trash can and taking it out is too much for me some days. I'm glad you've got a perfect-for-you partner (me too!)
Very glad I found your channel. I now understand why I procrastinate and am constantly overwhelmed. It’s good to know I’m not the only one out here feeling like this. Keep them coming and bravo!
I am in the last stages of a 12 year declutter when I had to deal with my parents hoarded house and my own cluttered house. You videos are helping me get through these last stages. Thanks.
Remi, I am 62 and wish I had had your wisdom when I was your age. You are doing great. American's forget the wisdom of British tea time, one needs those breaks for mental & physical health.
I think it is amazing how you set your mind to it and you get things done. I remember those days when my kids were younger. Something was always messy. Now my husband and I are retired and most days the house is pretty darn clean. However, I watch my granddaughters and summertime is the busiest with them. I started watching your video early this morning and now 8 hours later I’m finally finishing it up. Picking things up as you go is just not always an option 😮. Today is one of those days. Neither were the days when my kids were young. Also, I didn’t usually make my kids do chores (unpopular decision, I know) because my husband worked and they were in school and as a stay at home mom, I felt that was my job. Everyone will be glad to know they all grew up wonderfully and are very hard workers ❤❤ Love your videos and voiceovers 👍👍👍
I like “progress not perfection”. I appreciate you for sharing these videos, as I have ADHD, and I get overwhelmed easily. You’re making your home happy for your family, and doing amazing, So what if some people don’t like the way you organize your stock of toilet paper. Please keep these videos coming, and thank you for them.😊

Remi. Your videos inspire me so much. Thank you for showing a real home, getting messy by real people. That’s life. Now let me go try this challenge. 💕🙏
I love both your videos showing this timer method but also the 2-hour clean that you did for the whole house by using priority lists. I relate to you so so much with the same struggles. No judgment here. I did find this very motivating and helpful. Just your transparency and authenticity and your positive motivation.
Just discovered your videos Remi - you’re so lovely and natural. A joy to listen to. Loved the saying ‘Those that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind’ - first time I’ve heard it! Some people always have unkind advice - even if it’s not needed. You’re finding your own way of managing things that works for you and your family. Well done and thank you for sharing ❤
There’s so many of us like you, angel! I don’t have kids, but I have 2 horses, 5 senior dogs, and 2 cats. I go through all the same phases and cycles that you talk about, and I have the exact same intentions and ambitions to keep things more organized and tidy 🥲 you’re doing so amazing!! We’re genuinely trying and learning and growing, and people that don’t understand just don’t understand! ❤ my husband is exactly the same too! He works his butt off and treats me like gold, never loses his patience with me, and never talks to me or about me like I’m anything less than brilliant, even though I know it takes a lot of patience to live with me 😭❤️ Im so so so glad to hear you’ve got a partner like that in your life. I think people like us are really gentle, misunderstood souls and any other type of partner would be really devastating tbh. I’m gonna show my husband this video when he gets home from work haha ❤
Omg I am so happy I found you, how motivating are your videos and listening to your voice overs are soothing especially when I’m thinking I have loads to do! I don’t have a messy house but I have so much going on all the time just a few things being out of place causes so much anxiety! But these 10 minute room cleans are now how I will do things ❤ keep doing what you’re doing I love love your content x
Love watching your videos and listening to your very honest and real comments/advice for 'real life'. I've experienced your exact situation for years (I'm old!!) And next generation too. You are so right, patience and acceptance is needed by others. Can never please everyone so do what works for yourself. Please continue with your stuff....its very motivating even for me after all my years ❤xx
I think you're wonderful. There are so many people who really struggle with keeping their house in a clean and tidy state. You're showing good strategies to deal with the chaos. I have a daughter whose house looks like a tip. I'm trying to work out how to diplomatically share your videos with her and her husband without causing a domestic WWIII. Keep up the good work.
You and your videos and voice-overs are lovely!❤ I hope your channel continues to teach and inspire other young mothers just trying to keep their heads above water, so to speak, and keep a somewhat clean and tidy living space for themselves and their families 😊❤
You are such a lovely person! Thank you for sharing suggestions from the perspective of someone who struggles with the same issues I do! Blessings from Georgia from the USA. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Hi Remi, I've just come across your videos & subscribed. I think that you're doing amazing.......I can't compare myself to you in some ways because I didn't face your particular challenges but I totally get the depression & feeling of being overwhelmed by the chaos that you face when you're coming out of the other side of a depressive episode. I so seriously wish that there'd been someone like you to let me know that I wasn't alone & that life isn't perfect & so we don't have to be perfect either. Thank you so much for your bravery & also your compassion......you're awesome.
I just want to say thank you!!! I struggle and have always struggled and when I was a kid my stepmother would ground me for a messy room I was grounded A LOT...I found you and you have been able to motivate me more than I ever could have imagined I always thought why can't I do this why is my house my car my desk a mess why can't they all be clean at the same time I have adhd and never knew it until recently so I struggled most of my life you have helped to make sense of my brain and you have taught me to not feel so bad or beat myself up im grateful to you for your honesty and courage you have to be really brave to put yourself out there like this and I just want you to know it's greatly appreciated ❤
Thank you so much for your little motivational ideas - such as this! Instead of watching the entirety of this video - you inspired me to take the next hour and do 10 mins in each room. Im sat having a cup of tea now before my husband gets home, feeling like I have accomplished so much today! Thank you x
I found your channel a few days ago as I am struggling to declutter/pack for a move. I have M.E/Fibro and am pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD/Autism so my struggle with energy and executive dysfunction is real. I have watched so many of your videos now and love them. You are helping me so much so just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for your content x
I just discovered your channel and I’m loving your content and personality. You are obviously a wonderful mother and I appreciate how relatable you are. I agree with your something is better than nothing approach to cleaning.
I swear watching you is like seeing a version of myself. My house is just like yours. I have a wonderful husband is really good at handling my issues as well. Great job can't wait to see more!
Those that care don’t matter and those that matter don’t care….WHAT A GREAT MOTTO!! Thanks for another great video. Impressed at what you accomplished in just 10 May bites per room. Made me want to sneak in and surprise you with doing the dishes.!!! 💕👍💕👍💕👍💕
I love your videos. I’m 68 and I can go into a tidy room and in 10 minutes you’d think a whirlwind has been through it. I have no idea how it happens. Then I’m so overwhelmed I sit in the middle of it feeling down. I’ve started to do some of the 10 minute tidies and cleans and it’s been a game changer. Thank you and keep the videos coming X
Remi, so glad I found you. We are not alone! This is our real life. Just turned 70 and work. The are days am just too tired. Then the mess is overwhelming and I don't even attempt tackling it. Yesterday I did your list method. Really helped. Also going to give timer method a go. You are Amazing and Real!! This is our life. Let's live it!! 🌞🌼🤗.
I love your voice it’s so soothing…im also a neurodivergent mom of 3…I’m 32 and I’m just now learning how to work WITH myself rather than shaming and against myself ❤
just want to say how much your videos have helped me. you are so not alone, i don’t even have kids, i live alone, and life just constantly explodes around me. i feel like sometimes i don’t even see how cluttered and messy things are until it’s overwhelming. don’t listen to the haters, your videos are awesome, you do a wonderful job cleaning and taking care of your kids, and anyone who says otherwise clearly hasn’t paid much attention to your videos 😂
Love you videos Remi - SO real! I have been a messy person for 60 years and with the help of folks like you on RUclips so am slowly understanding my lifelong issues and developing coping strategies. When you said you are sentimentally attached to everything I could have hugged you! That is just me and it’s SO hard. Thanks again! I watch Elli Hurst (a US minimalist with a young family). Her thoughts on having only a few toys are very interesting. Given my personality I overloaded my daughter with stuff and so regret it on so many levels. Worth a watch! Thanks again! Can’t wait on the productivity tips vid! ❤
Thank you! I took the 10 minutes per room concept (had breaks between rooms) and was amazed at how tidy my home looked. My brain doesnt let me focus on cleaning usually because I see something else to do and wander off, becoming exhausted by the end of the day with nothing to show for it. This method or idea, helped me soo much!
I relate to you so much! Timers help me as well, but I want you to know that it has been hard for me to keep up with cleaning and tidying my entire life. To see you do your 10 minutes tidies has been a revelation. Thank you for being so brave.
I love all your videos both the short and long ones. You are so relatable, your videos have helped me so much, you will never know how wonderful & motivating your videos are. You are so right, we all have terrible days and accumulate mess on top of mess - so thank you!
Thank you so much. Your videos are so open and honest and also realistic! I'm going to share your video with a few people who just don't understand what its like, through no fault of their own; theyre just organised. Your videos have really helped me especially today. I literally tidied .you entire house following your list for task and 10 minute rule. Thank you so much! The videos are invaluable. ❤❤❤
I love lists and checking them off, but this 10min stint per job/area has me motivated!! I like all yours quotes and wisdom throughout the video too. My kids are teenagers now, but I liked the: "I don't want yo be a stressed mum, I want to be a happy mum." That resonated with me and motivated me to get my shit together to make things flow better in the house. 😁👍🏼
So glad to have found your channel! You are definitely not alone!! I can relate to the way your brain works so much. I am learning to celebrate myself in my ups and downs. My husband always reminds me of all the plus sides to the way I think and do things. I am lucky for that but it is nice to listen to someone who relates as I clean or work. So thank you!💓
Your appreciation to your partner speaks A MILLION words, despite it being a few sentences. Thats awesome. I feel i do so much housework, but my man does soo much too. Always.
Thanks for another great video. One tiny tip for your bathroom clean - when you do the toilet, start at the top and work your way down to the seat. Then while the bowl soaks, start at the base and work your way back up to the seat. That way, you get the least germy parts clean first and are less likely to cross-contaminate the cleaner parts! Hope that helps :) If you are looking for more storage space for your boys' room, what about using the vertical space by using some shelves - either a tall bookcase to hold baskets and such, or some shelves attached to the wall? As my kids got older, I had a sorting station in their room. A certain table top was reserved for things that were waiting to be put away. For me, it really helped to be able to get all the stuff off the floor, even if it all didn't find it's home right away. I would eventually help fold the clothes into piles for each so it was clear who was responsible for putting away their own stuff. I always had lots of laundry. Two kids, pets, bedding, two adults, outer wear, bath towels... it was endless! Having more clothes doesn't make more laundry, it gives you more time between washes! I've lately decided to do a load each day, because I can't cope with masses of folding all at once. I throw it in first thing in the morning, and get around to drying and folding later. If you had a wall mounted drop-down rack, or a bathtub clothes line, would that help with drying? Single parent's definitely have it rougher, but I feel for all the working moms as well. I think most often it's mom who keeps all the balls in the air, organizing, planning, worrying, shopping scheduling... on top of parenting, spending time with a partner, juggling extended family and working. WOW. I don't mean that dad's don't participate, but most of the mom's I know lie awake with lists in their heads, while dad sleeps like a rock! Everyone talks about self care, but when you have little ones, that's often completely unrealistic. Hang in there :) AMAZING job - Well done 💛
Thank you so much for these videos Remi! Feel so seen and validated and you help so much lessening the shame and guilt felt when tackling mess and clutter with the authenticity you show. Take care ☺️
My phone was on 17% when I clicked on here now it's 14% on red but I was determined to watch you 😊 I've never thought about timing myself for each room and it sounds like a good idea because without it I'm spending too much time in one room 😊 you've put me onto something there 😂 forget about what others say they probably live a perfect life with a perfect house but we're normal people who live a normal life and we live in the real world. When I came across your channel I was/am hooked because you are what we all are and your home is like the majority of our homes. I watch you more than I watch any other "cleaning videos" because you are relatable and so sweet. Everyone always assumes when they know nothing. Your life surrounds your Charlie and your boys no one's opinions are relevant so they should move on 😂 I was taught from an early age if you can't say anything nice say nothing and I've never offended anyone in all my 55 years and I can honestly say I'm proud of that ❤😊 I also did the tidying up when my boys went to bed clearing up after them but they would also help with cleaning the house. Let kids help when they want to not forced into it. Kids need their time. Imagine, well you have, where tidying up is more important than letting kids make a mess. You know how that feels hence why you are the way you are and it's a good thing in my eyes. Right I've got 9% left lol see you in your next video ❤❤
You are remarkably wise for your age! I like listening to you when I clean. So uplifting and positive. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your life! God bless you and your family. ❤
Timers have been an absolute game changer for me. Before I knew I had executive dysfunction and adhd, I just thought I was lazy. Timers changed that overwhelmed/lazy stigma I had in my head. I am in love with your videos. Your house looks like my house! And my kids are older now, so although we don't have toys all over, the clothes and dishes are a struggle. Thank you, thank you. You are phenomenal!
Part of my problem cleaning... I am home all the time. I live the same day cleaning the same messes I have no friends anymore. Just home with the kids. For years. And it's so hard to fight the depression off and hold motivation for it all. I wish so bad I could just talk to you. Have a friend like you. Your personality is so refreshing and absolutely beautiful ❤️💯 uplifting for sure and your channel makes such a difference for me and alot of momma's / people... I know as soon as I watch your videos I'm like ready to tackle the day.... I make the mistake of watching it too late at night (like right now at almost midnight..) and I'm tempted to stay up all night cleaning! I have 4 little ones though so I can't realistically do that... anyways. You are AWESOME. I wish I had a friend like you.... And the 10 mins each room idea... Its GAME ON tomorrow for sure!! Thanks for that idea 💯😊
You, are truly amazing! From your smart ideas to time yourself while cleaning to the self-talk you give to yourself, is so healthy minded and you are definitely going in the right direction on having a happier and healthier life! I'm proud of you!
Such an energic cleaning. My struggle is with time, it runs faster than. Thank you for showing your natural.way of beeing and for the motivation 😍😍👋🇵🇹⚘
Remi, you are absolutely adorable. I found your videos by accident. I subscribed right away because I need all the cleaning motivation I can get sometimes. Don't worry about what people think. Some people will just make you miserable with their hateful comments. In the meantime though there are those of us who adore you for your honesty and being straight forward.
Hello Remi. Glad to find your channel. I'm 57 yr old and I'm just like you. Nice to find your channel. I have 2 teens and a husband that I have to clean up after. I have fibromaylgia and cannot spend everyday cleaning. My family calls me lazy but I'm really not. Have a beautiful day.
Tidying the whole house in an hour- great motivation. 10 minutes per room, I can do! Progress is the key. Not perfection. Anything better, is better than it was. Better is good 👍 you did great. Thanks for sharing!!
Just found you here on youtube, loving this video and loving how human you are. I've had a horrendous year or so and my motivation (well, what I had) has disappeared. Thank you so much for your honest and relatable self. I've subscribed and now I'm off to set a timer...
I am 66 now and my experiance is that as one gets older you also gets less active in the house cleaning activities. Have to cope on my own - without any helper and have the same problems..... Thank you for this motivation.
I come from the flylady system and the timer definitely works for me too. It simply gets me over the difficulties of getting startet . And cleaning alongside someone on video makes it less daunting . Thanks for you talking , I really like that 😊greetings from Germany
Great comment... I totally agree! I've had health issues and these vids really help :)
If you was local I would come help you for free ❤
I I were in your city ,I would definitely help you for free.If we don't care for each other, there will be no meaning for life .
We all need a little help in life I'm 61 poor health house a mess but thank you I'm now working on declutter ❤
Thank you for caring more about childrens safety than making a buck. ❤ Youre amazing.
I love - ‘we are aiming for PROGRESS not perfection’ ?! That is a great mantra for all of us who batter ourselves about the state of our houses 👍🏼💕
This has made my heart so happy! Thank you for being so understanding, he’s lucky to have you x
❤
❤
This is awesome!!!!
Just tried a 10 minute clean..
it felt like 1 minute 😖
I felt completely deflated, a failure as I looked around. SO, I gave myself another 30 minutes on my timer and had my kitchen cleared and clean with 8 minutes to spare 😊 🏆
The moral of this message ..
Be Kind To Yourself !! 💕💕
Yes we can’t beat our selves up about it. At least we’re trying, I have a timer as well. This has reminded me to use, it does help. 😊
What a great video. Well done you sound and seem like a really good parent. Keep up the good work..❤
Heck, it takes me 11 minutes just to make my bed.
❤💪💕💕
What works for one person might not work for another. If you need 30 minutes to get it done, then take that 30 minutes. Otherwise you'll just end up being frustrated and overwhelmed. Instead of doing what Remi does, be inspired by her to find YOUR own path! Love that you found your zone.
Remi I love your videos - you’re the most relatable and real cleaning blog that I’ve ever watched - and I’ve watched lots! I can identify with so much with what you say and actually, you’ve made me feel SOO much better about how I run my flat. You’ve had such a positive effect on my mental health so thank you ❤
Oh this is amazing to read! I’m so pleased 🥺❤️ you’ve made my day. Thank you! x
@@remiclog Thank you. Due to my depression, a major house clean is impossible. Break it down to ten minute segments; brilliant idea!!!
@@remiclog How do you clean waterproof porcelain tiles, and wooden floors. I prefer bleach and a mop!!!
@@remiclog yes thank you ❤
❤❤❤
I just discovered your channel. I really appreciate seeing a “real house” cleaning
So many of these clean with me videos is people cleaning an already clean house!
I definitely am one who enjoys these kinds of videos as motivation to help me get threw house work
I did too I'm now obsessed. Also her voice??? Soooo soothing lol
Thank you for setting people straight about your partner. Its intellectually honest of you and rare.
That's what I'm doing right now!
You are SO much smarter than I was at your age! I’m a Nana now but I well remember how exhausting little kids are. You are doing great!
Hahaha
I do find that the 'pick up as you go' works for me if starting from a spotless point, but after a while, tasks and chores pile up, and tasks are more important (grocery shopping, picking husband up or dropping him off, etc), and the 'do it as you go' gets tossed aside to save time.
The timer challenge is a great idea. I'm a procrastinator when it comes to housework. You did an amazing job in only 60 minutes.
You are by far my favorite cleaning channel and I watch several!
You are so self aware, opened and you have obviously worked on yourself so much and grown from it! I am so happy for you!! ❤
Such a good idea! I’m definitely gonna try the kettle boiling one 😁 x
I'm amazed at how much I can do while the microwave runs. The other day I unloaded the dishwasher and got almost everything put away in 2.5 minutes!!!
I couldn't agree more! We cannot please ALL people and in truth, we shouldn't have to. I say just BE YOU! Love your honesty and am thankful that people like you are sharing real life moments that others can relate to. God bless you and your little family!
Your cleaning videos are so realistic and relatable. Well done!!
@@highlandjournalart654 Me too! Isn't it a shame that we are "Too soon old and too late smart!"😢
Keep the videos coming. xxxxx
Oh bless you! Thank you for such a lovely comment ☺️ xxx
I absolutely love your ramblings and your openness and I feel seen! ❤❤❤ What a dear person you are
Remi, I'm so glad I found your channel as I'm exactly like you and my house mushrooms with clutter.
Everything you said about yourself, your varied health and financial challenges and how you cope Life with a young family in a post-COVID worldwide economic crisis rang true with me.
I was touched with admiration and inspired by your positive outlook and hope for a better Tomorrow. 🤗
Your calm, empathic, motivational attitude and sweet voice kept my attention as I watched you bravely tackle each task singlehandedly, without judgement or complain.
I have ADHD, OCD, executive dysfunction and I don't mind cleaning and tidying, which I do for others - I just struggle doing it at my own home. 😱
I like the way you manage your To Do List. It's the best I've seen and I'll be doing mine your way from now.
Thank you again for sharing your story and for teaching us how to skillfully overcome being overwhelmed when trying to maintain a clean and organised home. 👍
Getting up to do a 60 minute tidy. I need this to motivate myself to get in with it. Thank you ❤
I've seen so many comments like this!
Hello fellow brains 👋🏽
Remi, your voiceovers are my mind’s soundtrack. Being a solo mom is so hard with the 🧠 I have. You get it.
I get it, too.
You are a wonderful Mum Remi, there is nothing to compare with a child's imagination 😊
You’re making your home happy for your family, and doing amazing,
So what if some people don’t like the way you organize your stock of toilet paper.
It would take me days to accomplish what you did in 60 minutes! You Are amazing. And entertaining too!
Thank you so much for talking about all the things that you do. It's made me feel a lot less alone ♡
Yep, Remy is a true gem, I'm a Londoner and I'm proud of her for being so positive and relatable.
Thank you x
I'm new here and seriously love all of your logical ideas. I'm glad your house is messy. It makes life real. Thank you for being you❤️
I found your channel a few days ago as I am struggling to declutter/pack for a move.
I am so happy I found your channel!!I can so relate to all you say and I love your kindness. I look forward to watching many more of your videos!!
👏👏👏 so smart to do the 10 minute challenge per room. Great job!
I love how you talk about how cleaning is legitimately different for those of us who are not neurotypical 💚💙💜 I love the timer method!
Awesome video Remi, I absolutely LOVE your chats!!! It is so nice to not feel alone!!! Sending love and hugs 🫶🏼🙌🏼❤️✌🏼
Wow! A “real” house with kids! This is so refreshing. My hubby and I watch movies while we eat too.
I am so glad I found this channel Remi. This is me to a T . It feels good to know I’m not alone . ❤
Hope that helps :)
If you are looking for more storage space for your boys' room, what about using the vertical space by using some shelves - either a tall bookcase to hold baskets and such, or some shelves attached to the wall?
Hang in there :)
AMAZING job - Well done 💛
I needed you today. I am in pain, unmotivated, and generally stuck in a funk. Thank you for keeping it real.
Thank you Remi!! I now have a new mantra! Progress not perfection!! Love your videos and your way of looking at things! You are a gem!! Hugs!!
I use timer challenges from time to time, I love the challenge and know that the chores will end soon. Works like a charm. ❤
You, are truly amazing!
From your smart ideas to time yourself while cleaning to the self-talk you give to yourself, is so healthy minded and you are definitely going in the right direction on having a happier and healthier life! I'm proud of you!
This was a fabulous video!! Both the timing cleaning idea, and your very frank and honest voiceover. Great work!
Fabulous work and an entertaining and educative voice over. Thanks for inspiring me to get started and beyond just being overwhelmed!
Remi, you are one of the funniest ladies on the planet!!! To say I love your videos is an understatement indeed! Thank you for the laughs!
This is probably the best tips I’ve heard for cleaning motivation. Thank you
Love your videos, your personality and sense of humor, and how gentle you are with yourself. You are down-to-earth and real!
I so get you, we are sisters from different misters! This is me from top to bottom, and I love your voice overs. So honest, so open……I love it!
Tidying the whole house in an hour- great motivation. 10 minutes per room, I can do! Progress is the key. Not perfection. Anything better, is better than it was. Better is good 👍 you did great. Thanks for sharing!!
Exactly! Something is better than nothing at all! X
I just found your channel today and love it already! You have such a precious heart. I greatly appreciate your honesty and transparency!
Well done Rem! Bloody awesome tips. 😊
Thanks mum 😊 x
@@remiclog Ten minute slots!!! Motivated me to do my dishes!!!
I come from the flylady system and the timer definitely works for me too. It simply gets me over the difficulties of getting startet . And cleaning alongside someone on video makes it less daunting . Thanks for you talking , I really like that 😊greetings from Germany
