So it is definitely hard to plan & I'm in school still so money is super tight. This helped video helped a lot! i wish i found it sooner!
He proposed to me at his Basic Graduation a few days ago, and now he's off at more training. I'm honestly lost at where to even begin planning. Some advice would definitely be appreciated!

Britt, I love watching your videos. I'm still in college and will be marrying my boyfriend of 3 years, now fiancé, next summer. He will be an officer in the Air Force and it's going to be a big strange and exciting change and journey. I watch your videos for guidance. Keep up your videos :)
We actually decided to celebrate both since they both are in the same month! (One is at the end of May and the other at the beginning) They are just a year apart from each other. But years married we go with court date since that was when we got married officially. We even celebrate the anniversary of the day we met still haha
At what point did you two get married? Before bootcamp? After A school? When he was already at a duty station? And how was the process with the paperwork after getting the marriage certificate?
Alyssa Wilson doing a video next week on that to explain more. We got married while he was at his duty station and you don't worry about paper work. He knows/should know what paperwork to get and should be able to file it fairly easy. Will take a few weeks to process though.
Hey Britt, I have a question for you. My fiancé is getting deployed this April and we wanted to get married through court. But we have decided to get married the summer of 2019. Do you think we should wait to do court then or do it before he deploys?
If you know you are going to get married next year/he is already your fiance, then I would go ahead and do court married now. When they are on deployment, if you aren't his wife, and something happens to him, they won't let you know first. There are a lot of little things like that, that make it better to be their wife during deployment. Again, wouldn't recommend for everyone but if you are already engaged then I would do courthouse married before he leaves.

Our date has changed 4 times lol. He is in the marines and stationed overseas. Finally set a hopeful date that might happen.
