Thank you Maria.Excellent instruction. Us beginners need at least english subtitles...we cannot know what you are saying in some of these videos...it's just a little advanced for a beginner in my opinion. You do have some excellent videos that have the english explanation in them and these are what a beginner needs.
Strictly Portuguese language only is too advanced to start with.
Muito obrigada professora Maria ❤!!! Meu 🌻

Thank you! I find all your videos very helpful. I wish you would speak more English in them though. Be very helpful to an absolute beginner like me;)
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you find it useful and I will either make more videos in English in the future or I'll add the English subtitles, no worries. 🌻

Be Happy my Teacher.
🤪
Muito Obrigado !!!
Excellent video Maria !
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for your very helpful videos, the conjugate reflexive verbs are the ones that i am struggling to comprehend the logic, for example the verb, eu esqueco-me instead of eu esqueco.
Hi, Mesut, thank you for the comment. Yes, this verb can be used either as a reflexive, transitive, or intransitive. That's a great question, I might make a video to clarify it.
Your videos are soooo helpful!
So, I noticed that the reflexive -se sounds like “suh” except for when you said third person plural where it just sounded like “s” with a silent vowel sound. Is this a true difference to distinguish third person plural? Or did it just sound like that because it was that last one you happened to pronounce in each series?
I really appreciate the time you put into your channel. You are an extraordinarily good teacher! Thank you!
Hi, Jessica, it is always the same, you always read S and you do not pronounce the letter E: /s(ə)/
Good drilling practice to set the reflexive pronouns into the memory.
Thank you, Jesse!🌻🌞
Hello, thank you for the video, it's very helpful. I am however a bit confused by the grammar: Are verbos pronominais and verbos reflexivos the same thing? Also, does the pronoun always come after the pronoun? I feel like I've seen both before the verb and after the verb. Thanks a lot for all the help.
This one is good. Not too fast.
Thank you, Ray! :)
Um vídeo ótimo como sempre.
Tenho uma dúvida.
O pronome reflexivo é antes da conjugação na frase interrogativo? E também quando usamos 'não'?
Previ essa pergunta, fiz um vídeo sobre isso aqui: ruclips.net/video/au0rQH80udk/видео.html 😄
advérbio, conjunções, interrogativos, pronomes indefinidos e preposições mudam a posição
@@portuguesewithmaria oouu. Peço desculpe.
Obrigado, vou ver este vídeo
@DrAxe Dharme por favor, não é preciso pedir desculpa... 😂😀❤️
Como é com dois verbos? Exemplo: queremos sentar-nos... É correcto?
right
in singular, tu : levantas-te right...? but in the presentation you mention it as levantas- se.
TE, not se, if that was written, it was a typo, sorry
Nunca vou procupo-me com verbos reflexivos de novo.
Hahaha, é bom ouvir isso, Ogator. Vamos dizer assim: Não vou preocupar-me com os verbos reflexos nunca mais.
@@portuguesewithmaria OK, vou preocupar-me um pouco.
it is a bit hard topic for me
é preciso praticar, não é difícil, prometo! 🌻
Olá Maria, tenho duvidas da posição do pronome, porque eu já vi de maneiras diferentes, antes o depois do verbo. Exemplo
-Ela me fala muito divagar ou Ela fala-me muito divagar
-Aluga-se casa ou se aluga casa
Brazilians use it before the verbs, in European Portuguese, only some words change the position of a pronoun: ruclips.net/video/au0rQH80udk/видео.html
@@portuguesewithmaria Muito obrigada
Thanks for asking this question...I was so confused!! Thanks both!
I have no idea what you saying. I have not skipped any of them. To fast for me...I am going to keep trying...
Hi Maria, thank you for the video. I have a question about pronouncing the 'l' in levantar. I have noticed when se or me are in front of levantar, the 'l' is not pronounced so it sounds like sevantar or mevantar. Is this correct?
Hi, Brian. There's neither the sound, nor the letter "i" in these words, so I'm a bit confused what you meant with that. If you're asking about the letter "e", it is never pronounced at the end of the words.
why do we have to conjugate when we can just say Eu levanto às sete
Because this is not English, and in all Latin languages (and many others) we need to conjugate the verbs. You can omit the pronoun, though. when you say "eu LEVANTO" you already conjugated the verb levantar
@@portuguesewithmaria what is the difference between (eu) Levanto às sete , and levanto-me às sete?
I am confused with it. Can i use either one of them ?
@@VIPVICT it's not the same. if it's a reflexive word, it means that you do something on yourself, physically in this case. to make it clear, think of the verb CUT in English. If you say- I cut without "myself" you cut an object. if you make it a reflexive verb, I cut myself it's the same as using ME in Portuguese, so you want to say that you hurt yourself. These reflexive pronouns me, te, se, nos, vos translate as myself, yourself, himself, etc... The only confusing thing is that not all reflexive verbs in Portuguese are reflexive in English.
If you say - levanto it means I lift
Levanto-me I get up. (literally, I lift myself)
@@portuguesewithmaria oh i understand it now.
Thank you for your explanation, Ms Maria!!
@@VIPVICT You're welcome!
Hi Maria - Many thanks
Uma Pergunta - Shouldn't the reflexive of "Tu" be "-te" ie levantas-te @ 5:47 ??
Can you please write the sentence you're referring to?
levantes-se? are you sure?
if that was written on the screen, it was a typo, I don't know what minute it was... I'm pretty sure I didn't say that.
Sorry for asking, but many times I saw the books in your video and I have seen that man(on 4 books cover 📔) is made , is it a novel?
Hi, Yohann, it's a complete literary work of a Serbian writer and poet. That's why the whole set of books create his portrait.
@@portuguesewithmaria Ok, obrigado 🌹💐🌹
