I imagine 90% who own this never watched The Animatrix. You should, it's really the only film besides the original that's worth watching. God forbid someone might get into anime.
Paranoia Perception I got the DVD Version (there's no Blu-Ray equivalent of this particular set here in the UK) and I watched the Animatrix for the first time, it was great.
I'm not really a big Matrix fan. But when picking up my first blu-ray box set it was between this and Lord of the Rings. This was cheaper and to be honest. Having this Lord of the Rings and Star Wars next month is a most if you have a blu-ray. They really just add a lot this.
I bought the first Matrix on the 10th anniversary Blu-Ray and I was unimpressed with the picture quality. Last night I watched Reloaded(My favorite of the three) and the picture blew me away. Have yet to watch the others.
My favorite is matrix reloaded that my favorite than the other two I haven't seen the animated but I wouldn't get it because it not to do with the other 3 films and my next favorite is 3 and then 1 but I still like them all regardless
This is going for around 35 bucks or a bit more but not much more at Wallmart right now. Those who want to pick it up at a killer price now is the time. Time for a trip to Wallyworld. Just got my set recently. Love the quality of the films on blu. Hardly even touched the special features at this time but am greatly looking forward to them. Just watched the films themselves so far. Great buy. Good review of this set too. I agree all the way.
Just got it for $45.00 from Amazon. Super exited to see it. I have all 3 on DVD & never owned The Animatrix. Love all 3 films & was obsessed when they cam out. Saw all 3 in theaters. ;-) Nice Video.
@Tekkenman101 little condescending tekkenman101, no? Just because some enjoyed it doesn't mean it lives up to everyones expectations. I enjoy the series and understand the ending, but admit in watching it I still find it hard not to think of what else could have been done. I can appreciate the path they took tho
@sxerunner I think it's safe to say that OVERALL the last movie could have been better and that it wasn't as good as the first (maybe the second). However, the ending is wrapped up nicely it just takes time on your part to understand it. I can send you a link that helps better get across what the end meant.
Mine set it different it has only 3 and it just the way like wanna go with just the three films I dont want the animation just the 3 and i have it on blu ray triple feature
sxerunner why do you hate the matrix revolutions? True matrix fans recognize that the second movie and third movie were supposed to be ONE movie. Warner Bros. was just money hoarding. So because of that revolutions appears to be a little "lack luster". However, it had the best war scene and the best fight scene in the entire trilogy.
The box is cool and all, but ewww skinny Blu-Ray covers. :[ It's also miles cheaper to buy each movie individually, so I'll just do that instead. Nice review, btw. :]

agreed...i did enjoy it for what it was though, but it was really lacking in the story telling department.
What a thorough review, thanks!
Guys, if you want to buy this collection, it's 24.99 plus shipping on amazon. AWESOME DEAL
Los extras y el disco "The Matrix Experience" tienen subtitulos en español?
WTF, I have that set and mine didn't come with any digital copy papers on it! Of course, I also only paid $20 during an Amazon lighting deal.
nice review. I just ordered it... its going to be a long 2 weeks. :(
@robs912 The DVDs are not region free, you will need a region 1 DVD player to play them.
I hate the four square cover design of Revolutions's cover too.

The Wachowski Brothers? More like brother and sister now.
This comment is as dated as the video now because the other sister came out as trans sometime after it was posted.
I really do not like the slim cases
