Happens to every actor or actress in long running shows, but yea it was noticeable. Seinfeld were perfectionist though so stuff like this rarely happened.

The timing, the writing, the acting, the character switches it’s like the prime Simpsons no joke misses and if it does it’s because it’s so intelligent! Seinfeld, Larry Sanders Show and The Simpsons imo were innovative and strayed away from the main stream trash.

You notice how when Elaine tells her “Pig in a complaint dept.” joke, the audience somewhat laughs. But when Jerry (the actual comedian) gives his spin on it, the audience bursts out in louder laughter 😂
Elaine mentioning she went out to lunch with him, the James Thurber line and Jerry's response "nodding off" is edited out in syndication. It goes straight from "Good work, Nancy Drew" to Elaine's "ANNnnndd..."
They missed out the best part, the pig says " my wife's a $lut " 🤣

Seinfeld episodes have such a different tone after Larry David left …it’s a bit too silly compared to the earlier seasons
For some reason I love the last two seasons best because they're so out there and silly and cartoony compared to earlier ones. It just got more delightfully weird. But overall there isn't one season from 3-9 that's not worthwile, at least in my estimation.
@@eduardo_corrochioYou're not a pretentious snob: you see the difference but you don't undermine the later seasons. If they weren't good enough, Larry wouldn't have returned to voice Mr. Steinbrenner so many times or to write the finale.
