This is soooo good! Corners are a personal struggle for me as you have to think about so many things at the same time, line choice, braking, body / bike separation and how all that feels in a micro second! So great to see how you guys break it down. Especially like Miranda's comments about forcing your brain not to brake in the bad spots! That's something I suffer from constantly! Awesome! Keep up the great vids! Brrraaap!
Deliberate braking is maybe the hardest thing to master! So tempting to try and go a little bit later without braking... or maybe just drag the brakes, haha.
Miranda is sooo good! The critique was very helpful for me too. I've been having trouble with corners with brake bumps/root erosion on the outside/apex of the corner, like the second to last corner you helped Miranda with. I think I'm not scrubbing enough speed before the corner so I'm still braking as I go over them so I get bumped around and slow down too much. I'm often temped to go inside on these corners but instead I'll work on braking earlier because of this video. Thanks!
We are glad to hear this video helped! It's something we always have to work on as we always want to go fast, sometimes going slow leads to going faster.
I love this channel... Though after seeing Jesse's bike yesterday I'm waiting on the video showing him testing those handguard on bushes and trees of varying sizes! Also, the humility of a WORLD CHAMPION rider continually looking to improve her game? Amazing!
Thanks Matt! Opening up the corners and rounding things out has helped me a ton, especially interpreting new trails and is so much easier to practice than the braking points, haha. I've been working on it!
This was fly🔥 Can you guys touch on knee position for cornering? I think Kasper touched on it maybe - I think you guys have a knack for making the complicated simple.
Niceeee!!! Still want a how to scrub from Remi!👀 get those extra style points while going fast, I read the other day that looking fast is half the battle
Thanks for another great vid MGM. Love the down to earth, accessible and humble approach. Are you planning a Q&A? If you ever do I'd be interested to know how you keep focused and think about this stuff for a whole lap! I can pay attention for the big moves, or a corner or two, but most of the time I'm just riding on instinct or thinking about what I'm going to eat post ride (usually 🍩 or 🍕). What do the pros do? Meditation? Yoga? Self talk?
Need to see more of what just you three just started to touch on. Enduro is not DH. Taking the smoother line and energy saved adds up to less mistakes and more energy for when you need it later in the day
I (Miranda) really struggle with this switching from DH to Enduro where I want to FEEL pinned and fast everywhere. This day flicked a switch for me to focus on exactly what you're saying about trying to be smooth and consistent instead of fast burst to slowing down too much.
Awesome! Any chance you guys can do a more in-depth video on braking? I've always wanted to see a POV video with like an overlay of full brake - medium brake - deathgrip ;) would be interesting to see also how differently you 3 use your brakes 👌 Ride on!
I'm not 100% sure what I'm running in this video but I've been running the 435mm and mullet lately. I think in Europe where the terrain is tighter I will benefit from the shorter rear end.
i am not a good biker, but the worst wreck I ever had was a wee berm like they are showing that collapsed and dumped my front wheel into a tree. Ruined my day, wheel, and shoulder. Now I dont trust little berms so much
The relationship that you guys have, your friendship... is enviable. It really is...
We have fun!

Glad we could help, it definitely takes forming habits for the smaller things so you can focus on the more important things in each specific corner.

It's hard to be disciplined with braking points when it's tempting to carry speed into a corner- but it will pay off!
I love this channel... Though after seeing Jesse's bike yesterday I'm waiting on the video showing him testing those handguard on bushes and trees of varying sizes!

So far I think Jesse is 1-1 for handguards and tree.
Thanks for putting yourself out there for us all to learn Miranda. Nice work guys, some good tips.
Thanks for watching! Miranda loves to learn!

I've only been riding just under 2 years...and just watching the pros ride helps a lot. See what they do, how they move. Great stuff
Love this channel. Every video is great. Can't believe it hasn't got more followers yet, it'll grow fast though. Keep it up!
Working on it!
Really appreciate the in depth content here! Very technical, excellent explanations and still entertaining to watch!
Glad to hear it! More to come.
We really enjoyed making this episode so it's great to hear, thank-you!
Another fantastic video that anyone can get better from! Thanks for putting yourselves out there!
That's the hope! Thanks for watching!
This collaboration is on the money. Love the videos.
Thanks!
love it! Keeep them videos coming!
We are!
Yes I would have to agree with pedal strike, you three are great together and extremely humble
This was fly🔥 Can you guys touch on knee position for cornering? I think Kasper touched on it maybe - I think you guys have a knack for making the complicated simple.
With the three of us talking we eventually say something that we all agree on, and that is usually something simple to understand.
Ohh yah that is a good idea! More skills n' drills episodes needed
Awesome video guys! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
You 3 are just awesome!! Best trio in mtb!!
Miranda is an amazing rider, always so humble!! You guys all are!!
She is quite humble, even though she is a World Champion.
Niceeee!!! Still want a how to scrub from Remi!👀 get those extra style points while going fast, I read the other day that looking fast is half the battle
Feel good, look good, go good. I believe they say...
Was chatting with a buddy about this last ride. I think slow in fast out feels slower, but lets you carry way more speed overall.
Carrying speed everywhere is a good feeling.
It's hard to be calm and really trust this, but most of the time it's true! Trying to increase that average speed...
My favourite thing. Waiting for every new episode.
Glad to hear it!
Great content guys! Thank you
Thanks for watching!
loving this video series.
Thanks!
Guys, your channel is like college level discussion on mtb riding. (first time ever i comment on yt)
That's cool to hear! This was a fun one to do.
This is the only channel on youtube that I'd be a patreon for.
You can buy us some bitcoin. Just 1 would be fine.
@@MGMAlternative I'm not joking, I think you could definitely monitize this platform directly with your fans. 🤟💫

Glad you liked it! A Q&A could be a good idea for this winter!
Awesome folks! Braking points are certainly something I'm still trying to dial in.
Nice! keep working at it!
@@MGMAlternative everyday! Still won't be able to catch you folk! 😱👍🏼

Could do a full video on that!

Great video. Inside and slide haha!!
T shirts coming soon...

We have one coming that might touch on that a little but we could do a more in depth one on that for sure!

Where is Andréane Lanthier Nadeau? your Team mate?
This isn't a team thing, just something we started in the winter!
Y'all know how to keep it fun even with the serious racing things.
We try!
amazing video!
Thanks!
ay miranda, u on the 435 or 450 chainstay mode?
435 for mullet.
I'm not 100% sure what I'm running in this video but I've been running the 435mm and mullet lately. I think in Europe where the terrain is tighter I will benefit from the shorter rear end.
@@MGMAlternativesick, I might just switch to that, im running it in 435 29s
how wide are your bars?
750mm.
@@MGMAlternative thanks!

I think we feel the same, practice slowly building up to trusting them again.
Remi back to being a semi with a 25 ton load on his back lol.
I dont leave the house without it!
So you're saying I shouldn't go inside and monster truck through the rocks? Dang
Sounds like you and Miranda would get along.
