  • Watch ICT Fashion Maven Bonnie Bing in conversation with Allison Baker, owner of Aspen Boutique, and Wichita fashion designer Hazel Stabler.
Bonnie is a columnist for the Wichita Eagle and was the newspaper’s longtime society and fashion editor before retiring in 2012. Allison returned to Wichita in 2019, leaving a corporate job in finance and buying local favorite Aspen Boutique, a clothing and accessories store at the corner of Douglas and Oliver. She later opened The Vault Collection across the street in Lincoln Heights Village Shopping Center, and both stores sell vintage luxury gems. Hazel’s Yaqui and Ojibwe heritage influence her designs. Her
collections have been shown on the runways of New York, Paris, and Milan. Pick up fresh inspiration from this fashion trifecta!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum
Originally recorded the afternoon of Monday, March 6, in the S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall at the Wichita Art Museum in Wichita, Kansas. This panel discussion was held in conjunction with the exhibition "Isabelle de Borchgrave: Fashioning Art from Paper,” on view at the Wichita Art Museum from February 18 through May 14, 2023. wam.org/fashion.
