It is currently possible, due to the Covid there are very little tourists and the museum seems empty compared to usual. Sure, there are still visitors but just like in any other museum, there's no crowd.

I know exactly what u mean & feel. The first time I went to an art museum (The Art Institute of Chicago), I was in such awe & so grateful for seeing in real life w/ my eyes, I was crying. I cried the second time I went as well. I never thought I’d ever see such magnificent works of art in my life. I felt extremely blessed. I really hope u get the chance to witness & feel that someday. 😉
This is the kind of place that i can spend hours walking around in without thinking that I’m tired! cause my mind would be busy with all of this amazing paintings and details Visiting it is a dream for me that’ll definitely come true😍
We can watch this in the comfort of our homes and not worry about catching covid. I have to watch this video for my intelligent assessment course and it is indeed a visit that is a dream come true in every single way!
Yeah the paintings are special and all, but the building! My goodness it's beautiful beyond words! I was getting distracted by the grandeur of the building throughout the entire video. And now I think if I'm ever gonna visit this museum, it's not for Mona Lisa or any other art piece but only for the building. I'm completely in love with it!
Yes it amazed me the first time I went there. It's one of the greatest art collections in the world, if not the greatest, and yet it's almost dwarfed by the sheer greatness of this incredible buidling.
The Louvre used to be so less crowded. Today due to increased tourism it can be a bit of a nightmare getting in and out of the place. However it is quite magnificent. My mother Francoise said that in the late 1940s and early 50s she’d oftentimes be the only one in the galleries. Half the beauty of the Louvre Palace is the building itself, and not just the art being exhibited.
Over the past decades and each time I have returned to France, I visited the Louvre 9 times and still haven't seen everything. Precisely because of this crowd, I only see one or two departments at a time. With a delightful break at the Terrasse Colbert or the Café Marly to admire this architectural marvel.
I really dream, that one day Mona Lisa would get her own building with separate entrance. When I was visiting Louvre I was shocked when I saw what amazing Mantegna, Giotto and Fra Anghelico they have and NO ONE pays attention, that huge crowd just goes to see Mona Lisa. Those people have zero interest for art, they really don't care. They just want a selfie with Mona Lisa.
it's actually very easy going in and out of the Louvre even at the worst times of the year when Paris is full of tourists. Not sure what you're referring to?
I studied art history for more than 10 years . when I watched this video , I could not describe what I saw in a single word .... !!! it is amazing and extraordinary beyond description !
Thank you for this. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever see the actual inside of the Louvre! .. and the high quality of the 4K allows me to pause and see the intricate detail of the artwork.. I appreciate your putting up with the crowds and NOT putting any music over this, so one gets the actual experience!
Thank you for recording this! I was there in 1990. The trip to France was a graduation present. We were able to go because my sister had a friend living there. It was incredible. If you ever have a chance to travel, anywhere, take it. Some of my best memories were of distant places.
whats even more facinating than the art itself if the art of observing everyone around. theyre all in their own words minding their own business. its really cool.
5 months ago I was very enthusiastic to visit this Museum, raising money just to visit this place, not so much but enough in terms of going to Europe, to France, I'm from Bali, Indonesia, I'm also an artist, but it's a pity , after all the visa process was passed, I did not get a visa to go to France, was refused only for one reason by the embassy that they did not believe I would return home to Bali, and it was very disappointing, the return plane ticket had already been paid for, train tickets for the road the way there has been paid for, theater tickets, ballet, everything is scorched, but opening youtube and seeing this video, I am very grateful to you and this makes me very happy, thank you very much, hopefully later in the next video there is a monalisa, best regards from Bali for you, really appreciate this video, thank you so much 😇🙏🙏🙏
I’m french and I’m deeply sorry that you couldn’t come see our culture and country. We have a lot of issues with immigration and it creates injustice. I hope you won’t hate us for that and that one day you’ll be able to see all of our treasures with your own eyes. Since my grandma went to bali for scuba diving I’ve been really interested in your country so I hope I’ll be able to discover your treasures as well. 😀
@@louh330 well, as long as there is time I will always try to be there, I am never angry about it, about immigration yes I understand and agree with it, always opening the door for anyone who comes in Bali, especially those who want to see our culture, or any other hidden beauty, maybe we will meet, intentionally or unintentionally, Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
wow!! I lived 75 km from paris for 30 years, and never had opportunity to visit this wonder. I really appreciate this visit. you did a splendid job. very well done and truly appreciated Thanks
i like these videos, they actually give you the chance to travel and see multiple things without really visiting it, and it is interesting, i always tell mysef how lucky we are to live in the same time as the internet !
Thank you so much for doing this! Now that we're all stuck at home, this is the only way to get the feeling of being with other people and also appreciate art!♥️🇩🇴
After watching this video, I made a conclusion that to see Louvre I would definately need not less than a month to live in this wonderful museum, as if I were there I would watch carefully each spot, each wrinkle on each face... Gosh! Isn’t it a heaven on the Earth?! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful video in a good quality. Really appreciate that. QAZAQTAR BAR MA?🇰🇿
I visited twice in the 90s is beyond description, after so many hours I was overwhelmed, it was less crowded, and not a room full of people to see Mona Lisa than I see in the video. Magnificent place
It used to be like that years ago. But cheap ( low-cost...) travel, curiosity and people’s lack of compassion for others has taken away the civil behavior which we once came to respect where silence meant a lot. Silence is golden and nowadays unless you go in low season, whenever that will be, you will find it hard pressed to sit in a corner, admire the maestros work of art and listen to the greats pondering how they would deal with society today!
Wow. It is amazing in 4K. Thank you. I have been to The Louve twice and this as close to a third visit I could imagine. Yes, you will see lots of people, but when you are there, it is the same experience. Everyone is respectful, but they are there to see everything too.
I went to the Louvre in 2015, sadly I was 12 years old at the time and too young to really appreciate what I was seeing. I'd love to return again sometime soon.
Herrlich-
i went here december of 2019 and i’ve been obsessed ever since. so glad i came across this video, i missed it a lot and i hope i can go back someday :)
Thank you very much for your time and patience in putting this wonderful video of The Louvre together and uploading it. I've learned from your visit to began early, start from the top floor, see the Mona Lisa, and work myself down from that.
Thank you, for this magnificent experience! I can freeze frame and look at these wordlessly indescribable objet d’art’s, and immerse myself in every aspect of their aesthetic. What a tragic commentary of the population, that we see people doing everything BUT looking at this spectacular momument to the God-given talents of the ages. Why are they even in here? This could have been filmed in a mall anywhere in the world!
It's because louvre is like a Disneyland for morons that don't appreciate art. Only e 10% of the people who visits it must be true art lovers and I'm going way too high. It's more like something to show off on instagram and Facebook than knowing what a hell they are watching at? Or who made it? So many masterpieces down there. So many Villamelones'
For all those kindred souls who positively love art, The Louvre is a Mecca. A place to be visited, and relished, at least once in a lifetime. Here I am 60 years of age, and I have yet to go. But, perhaps, it's not too late. We shall see.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see the real interior of the Louvre! .. and the high quality of 4K has not even been used in video in my almost 60 years, and I consider myself lucky, as my father died without knowing the internet without knowing what the inside of the Louvre or any other international museum was like
Wow muchas emociones me trae y felicidad infinita. Gracias, gracias, gracias. 💙🇨🇱
As a Parisian, I am shocked to see what has become of the Louvre. It used to be a beautiful museum, a palace, which people treated as such. Visiting it was a luxurious experience for the soul. Now it just looks like a cattle call.
Great video and to everyone who reads this I pray your darkest days are behind you and your life is filled with love , happiness, and prosperity - You're The BEST 💝
Congratulations for this fantastic video, a beautiful work done with great competence and professionalism, I can even say without fear of making mistakes, it is more than a super video, it is a tasteful gift we received from you, thank you very much. Greetings from Brazil.
Thank you so much for this. Today is my birthday and I am watching this from my bed. I hope someday I could go and experience this myself. I really appreciate this gift.
Nice video. Just the thought of walking the Louvre seems exhausting already, this video helps to put my expectations in perspective. That woman in 13:05 though, fixing her hair. A piece of performance art there.
Don't trying doing the whole building. When you arrive, grab one of the maps and decide on the areas you would like to visit. And don't forget to give yourself breaks. It is a huge building, its' glorious, you will love it BUT take your time
Thank you so much for sharing! It saved me the jet lag, the crowds, the plane trip! No, thank you! Way too many people! I just put the check mark on my bucket list!
Wow! Thanks a lot for this video. An amazing and smooth journey inside such an iconic place. Love the video and discover this channel. Thanks very much for share this.
Thanks for this video. On the part of many people who can not leave our country, because it is expensive and impossible and visit the wonders of Europe. 🎨
Good to see your version of the Museum here, and see you've filmed some different rooms to us. We filmed it just before lockdown as we had a feeling people would want to see it albeit virtually. Keep up the good work and hope all is well with you fellow walker.
Mona Lisa is nice and all, it's a shame one can't truly view it but from meters away amongst a herd of muppets needing to take a selfie with it… well, that was a case when I went there. Anyway, one of my favourites is Panini's Modern Rome 30:00 it's bloody epic
@@1daftpunk even after smart phones it was impossible to watch Mom's Mona Lisa. Always a crowd. I didn't even tried to see it. The amount of great matrices master pieces is huge. I went when there was better few people when I was in Paris. Funny that I usually went to watch those I like the most.
I was in the Louvre when i was a Child an i remember the Mona Lisa hanging around randomly...not this seperated and on the Spot. It was a Da Vinci it was a Masterpiece but it wasnt this crowded. Feels like the Mona Lisa has been degraded to please the masses which dont look for the Painting itself but the Fame it has build up.
I know what you mean, I went to the Louvre in 1994. If I remember correctly, Mona Lisa was on a corridor wall among many others, but with an exception, the painting had bars over it --like the iron bars over city apartment windows-- so it would be difficult to see the artwork, even if standing right in front of it. Also, the crowds created a blockade so that no-one could pass by to the other hallways beyond. I love the way they have the viewing set up today, with the private space, the protective (see-through) glass, and the semi-circle wooden barrier. It looks like it's still annoying to wait in the crowd to get up close, but it's much better than it used to be, and in this new way, everyone has a chance to see the painting, if only he or she is willing to wait.
Thank you for watching the Louvre walking tour video, hopefully you enjoy it! I'm compiling a list of various art pieces featured. If you recognize the name of a painting, sculpture or artwork in this video then please leave a comment with timestamp and I will add it to the highlights list!

Wanderlust Travel Videos ll
Just imagine spending an entire day wandering around this place without the crowds. That would be a dream.
Beyoncé did that
Yeah the crowds and noise are a downer for sure !
Agree. Too crowded, too noisy, would not enjoyable being there.
Be a pleasure to go to the museum without the crowds! And it’s easily done! I always went in April! No crowds!
It is currently possible, due to the Covid there are very little tourists and the museum seems empty compared to usual. Sure, there are still visitors but just like in any other museum, there's no crowd.

You're Welcome! I haven't finished it yet. Greetings!
I am literally cry over how beautiful the paintings and art. If only I can see something like this in person.
This is the kind of place that i can spend hours walking around in without thinking that I’m tired! cause my mind would be busy with all of this amazing paintings and details
Visiting it is a dream for me that’ll definitely come true😍
We can watch this in the comfort of our homes and not worry about catching covid. I have to watch this video for my intelligent assessment course and it is indeed a visit that is a dream come true in every single way!
Same here bro😊
Sx
I agree it is astounding

Thank you for this. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever see the actual inside of the Louvre! .. and the high quality of the 4K allows me to pause and see the intricate detail of the artwork.. Thank you for this wonderful record. I feel like i am inside the museum

Amazing 🤩
I really hope that you save money to be able to go to this museum in person
Thank you for recording this! I was there in 1990. The trip to France was a graduation present. We were able to go because my sister had a friend living there. It was incredible. If you ever have a chance to travel, anywhere, take it. Some of my best memories were of distant places.
To me the Napoleon paintings felt as if I was actually in the painting witnessing it all back then. Amazing!
The museum itself is a great work of art!! Hard to believe it was a royal home!!
Lo mismo pienso yo. Los cerdos, los reyes, tienen suerte.
Who else...
A fortress to be precise, and then a palace!
Many, many thanks for this video from someone who will never be lucky enough to visit this awesome museum.
i wish you be even more lucky than that ..
You will be there someday🙏
Fantastic
nothing is impossible. If you save money you could be there. It's expensive but not unreacheable
I wish you will do that one day ❤

whats even more facinating than the art itself if the art of observing everyone around. theyre all in their own words minding their own business. its really cool.

@@louh330 well, as long as there is time I will always try to be there, I am never angry about it, about immigration yes I understand and agree with it, always opening the door for anyone who comes in Bali, especially those who want to see our culture, or any other hidden beauty, maybe we will meet, intentionally or unintentionally, Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Serious! how sad and pitiful ☹😢
wow!! I lived 75 km from paris for 30 years, and never had opportunity to visit this wonder. I really appreciate this visit. you did a splendid job. very well done and truly appreciated Thanks

Thank you so much for doing this! Now that we're all stuck at home, this is the only way to get the feeling of being with other people and also appreciate art!♥️🇩🇴
A walk to remember...... Even from thousands of miles and one single tv screen..... Merci
Imagine several centuries ago how pristine all of this art must have looked when it was all made? Wow 🤩

I visited twice in the 90s is beyond description, after so many hours I was overwhelmed, it was less crowded, and not a room full of people to see Mona Lisa than I see in the video. Magnificent place

Wow,I feel I'm inside Louvre museum turning around viewing the most fantastic paintings in history.
Amazing museum I've ever been, still remember my travel to this museum.!!!
Imagine sitting quietly by your self by some of the paintings in there listening to classical music and reading a book
Why the hell would you go to an art museum to read a book. Fuck off
@@richmck007 These mindless droids wander these halls of gods without appreciating what they're witnessing.
I had imagined Louvre Museum to be ' far from the madding crowd' but it has become a most crowded place like a Railway Station, how sad....
Jesus Christ that's absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for posting this wonderful piece!

All of that art and the Mona Lisa is the only painting everyone stoped long enough to see..

Wow. It is amazing in 4K. Thank you. I have been to The Louve twice and this as close to a third visit I could imagine. Yes, you will see lots of people, but when you are there, it is the same experience. Everyone is respectful, but they are there to see everything too.

Thank you for recording the whole tour of the Lourve in 4K HD! I am absolutely loved the sculpture and antiquity gallery!
Louvre museum 👍 ruclips.net/video/ET8ZjribHmc/видео.html
I went to the Louvre in 2015, sadly I was 12 years old at the time and too young to really appreciate what I was seeing. I'd love to return again sometime soon.
This is overwhelmingly breathtaking.
i went here december of 2019 and i’ve been obsessed ever since. so glad i came across this video, i missed it a lot and i hope i can go back someday :)
Wow, the Mona Lisa wasn't this crowded when I was there! That's crazy!
ruclips.net/video/FnDuPQ3-CJ8/видео.html
Thank you very much for your time and patience in putting this wonderful video of The Louvre together and uploading it. I've learned from your visit to began early, start from the top floor, see the Mona Lisa, and work myself down from that.
Bonjour! Le Louvre! Magnific! Merveilles souvenirs!
It's pretty cool that Louvre allows videoing. The metropolitan museum doesnot. Thank you for the visual tour.
and it s much cheaper and beautiful than the met
Whats up with the tourist... looking like modern day peasants. LOL
Years ago we went to a small museum castle in Germany. They said no video. But we did because no one was there on Sunday
How could you stay so calmmm. I would've cry if I saw those artworks 🥺
I could spend days here, I will never see until now. Thank you!
For all those kindred souls who positively love art, The Louvre is a Mecca. A place to be visited, and relished, at least once in a lifetime. Here I am 60 years of age, and I have yet to go. But, perhaps, it's not too late. We shall see.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see the real interior of the Louvre! .. and the high quality of 4K has not even been used in video in my almost 60 years, and I consider myself lucky, as my father died without knowing the internet without knowing what the inside of the Louvre or any other international museum was like
Thank you for this amazing video! The Winged Victory of Samothrace sculpture was my absolute favorite! What a beauty.
It's best to watch this when being self-quarantine at home.
Wow muchas emociones me trae y felicidad infinita. Gracias, gracias, gracias. 💙🇨🇱
Very very big museums in peris historical place.thanks once_again
Despite getting so tired when I visited the Louvre, I miss it! The trip to Paris was really a great investment! Thanks for sharing!
Its rich culture that it stole from African countries what a shame
Congratulations for this fantastic video, a beautiful work done with great competence and professionalism, I can even say without fear of making mistakes, it is more than a super video, it is a tasteful gift we received from you, thank you very much.
Greetings from Brazil.
It would take more than one day to appreciate it all. Love the unique frames because it compliments the art.
Thank you so much for this. Today is my birthday and I am watching this from my bed. I hope someday I could go and experience this myself. I really appreciate this gift.
Thank you for doing this video it’s really impressive, the architecture, the building and the paintings 😍I hope I can go and visit there one day !!! 🥰

Nice video. Just the thought of walking the Louvre seems exhausting already, this video helps to put my expectations in perspective. That woman in 13:05 though, fixing her hair. A piece of performance art there.
I was mesmerized by the woman fixing her hair! I watched to see how she did it--without any tie. Voila! Wrap and tuck.
Came to comments to see if others noticed. That woman is a professional hair wrapper.
Don't trying doing the whole building. When you arrive, grab one of the maps and decide on the areas you would like to visit. And don't forget to give yourself breaks. It is a huge building, its' glorious, you will love it BUT take your time
@@candmediting She used a tie, though. A thin one, but observe the wrist motion.
I know! gorgeous thick hair
It feels like walking around the Louvre Museum. It's cool~~
Thank you so much for sharing! It saved me the jet lag, the crowds, the plane trip! No, thank you! Way too many people! I just put the check mark on my bucket list!
Thanks for this. I felt like I was inside the Louvre. ❤
I did too! The sounds and people watching were part of the full experience.
I was there in 2019.It was fantastic!
Hello friend 👋😌
No Madonna of the Rocks and no gift shop, but a walk through to give one a sense of this magnificent collection of artworks
Hello friend 👋😊
Thank you for showing, sharing this amazing, wonderful place ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It’s my dream to go there someday. I’ll work hard and make it come true. :) thank you for making this.
Thanks to RUclips & Thanks to Wanderlust Travel Videos. I have, never before, seen such a vast array of antiques, paintings, etc.
My head would explode in that place. Way too fabulous beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Thanks a lot for this video. An amazing and smooth journey inside such an iconic place. Love the video and discover this channel. Thanks very much for share this.
Thank you! Appreciate you enjoy the Walking video! Also see Part 2 of the Louvre museum that I've recently published!
I laughed back in the days when people said everything is greek, well today I know better!! Thank you so much for this Video!!!
Awesome! I'm very excited to viewing the museum❤️
Thanks for this video. On the part of many people who can not leave our country, because it is expensive and impossible and visit the wonders of Europe. 🎨
Andrés Guerrero Ramos BUT THERE ARE A LOT RUclips VIDEOS ABOUT ART AND PAINTERS. BETTER THAN THIS VIDEO.
Good to see your version of the Museum here, and see you've filmed some different rooms to us. We filmed it just before lockdown as we had a feeling people would want to see it albeit virtually. Keep up the good work and hope all is well with you fellow walker.

Que maravilla!!! Mi próximo destino 💚
Top class video.I like very much. Thanks and god bless you with good health.India.
Excellent museum that you get to know when you travel to Paris, first class. congratulations
46:09 - best part the Mona lisa lol
Yes but check the 10.56
Thanku♥♥
I loved this tour ! Great video. Just watching the people is just as interesting as the art .. Thank you !
This brings to mind the fabulous film Russian Ark. It's hypnotic.
yes it is a masterpiece
That’s pure magic! Thank you!
Amazing trips when you can't go nowhere during the quarantine.
Villa borghese film
I looked at this because I wanted to see the art. Seems most of the action was tourists wandering around.
Exactly. Its aggravating that they didnt edit out the crowds or look at the art instead of people walking in front of them.
They never zoomed in or changed brightness for the dark paintings!
the best for learn about art (altough of been there) is art books. Obviously always be better stand in front of the paintings
That’s how it goes. It’s hard to get through at times
Thats why you pay and visit France.
This picture is so beautiful! 33:44
What a nice duck!
Ik she is so ugly!!!

@@lazarboricic9062 Hola
Proud to live in Paris with this beautiful Museum ❤🇨🇵
Hello I'm from india
I'm actually glad this took place in a time without masks and social distancing. Feels more real.
How old are you? Wich year was that?
@@Cejafer I think it was around 1995~
Imagine having the job of moving it!
Leonardo
Thank you for tour.
Thank you Wander for making us part of this wonder of the world 🌍
Have enjoyed many times 💜🏛️

Absolutely beautiful, brings back great memories. However, please cover the booming ambient noise with music of some kind.
