- HOW TO FINGER CROCHET A BEANIE HAT
Hello everyone and welcome back.
In this video I am going to show you how to make a beanie hat from finger crocheting.
It is super easy and fun to make.
All you need is SUPER CHUNKY WOOL. One ball of wool would be enough to create a hat or two balls if you decide to change up colours.
In this video i will be showing you how to create a slipknot. how to make chains and how to so a simple crochet stitch. Then i will show you how to add extra stitches, how yo add length and how to finish up at the end.
I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching and give this video a like if you found it interesting.
Perfect hobby if you are into knitting or any craft. Especially for those who are flying on holidays, as all you need is your fingers and wool.
Thanks for watching
Don't forget to comment and share the love x
Thank you

Bean Creative videos are really excellent for building up my confidence and crafting skills. I really enjoy these projects!
I've always seen and messed up the four finger method. I was worried that I didn't have the mind for it (like geometry). It's so difficult to find the right beanie at stores. Making one is the only solution that I have left. Thank you for simplifying it for me.
Wow! So easy to do. I watched your video yesterday and got some wool today. Just finished my first beanie. Fits right on my head! I'm going to make my grandmother one next, she loves hats. I'll send you some pics of her wearing it. Maybe you could put them in your next vid. She'd love that!
Love the manicure by the way! Keep up the good work! 👍👍
Thanks so much Bosco. Super chuffed
@@beancreative5102 How much wool do you need in total? I am using one colour but I only have 100g / 135m / 148 yards
How do u do l step show clearly
Awesome😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial it was sooooo easy to make! I just finished making a beautiful blue hat for my step dad. He LOVES it!❤️
I got stuck :((( on the first steps :(
Lot more helpful than Sirins Crochet channel.
Great tutorial and I love the beanie...the hats not bad either 😂
wow um i have not done this way before, your crochet kung pow with jedi movements lol
cute love it cant do it
I love this idea! I might attempt this pattern starting with a Magic Cirlce instead of a chain. I don't like how open the hole at the top is. Thanks for sharing!
@VeganMommyof2 there's several RUclips videos showing it. It's a crochet starter for working in the round. I like it because you can cinch the hole closed tighter than starting with a chain.
First hat tutorial I understand thank you!!
After completing the second chain 4 she says look for the first loop. WHICH FIRST LOOP!!???!!? I am new at this and super frustrated that there are no clear instructions for newbies like myself
I'm late but it's basically the first chain you made that started the chain.
Hi just wondering can you do a video of how to finger crochet a butcket hat Thank you!!😁😁
Hey I don’t have really chunky wool so will this work for me or do i need to buy chunky wool?
this would work! just us multiple strands!
I love it i just started on it today.
Thank you
I don’t have chunky yarn can I use regular sized yarn
same istg
Here is a tip put it in slow motion if its you first time
I can only do finger crocheting at the moment sadly working n moving to hooks and also I only know chain stitch and now I know a different ish pattern
Could you go slower and actually explain what you're doing? Some of us may have no idea how to do some of those stitches!
I tried slowing down the playback speed
But still was hard. I get you on explaining the process. Hope this might help!
Can i add this video to my sister keeps asking about this video and i keep forgetting it lol and i might want to use it in case i get a group going with easy crocheting to do and i was thinking of using it in a presentation for some friends too.
I don’t understand it? I tried for an hour and gave up :( I think it might have been the yarn I was using
Katie Beth was it chunky?
Yeah becaue you have to use very THICC yarn
Hello. I know this was posted over a year ago. But I am not talented in crocheting and I seemed to be confused on creating the rows. After the 2nd row, I got lost on how to continue increasing the width of the hat. I thought I just increase the number of chains as I create each row, but as I got to the row with 10 chains. I have gaps where the chains are. Am I to make double stitches on each chain too? Since your video was cut off to continue the other rows, I have no idea how mine did nit look like yours (your chains looked closed off while mine have gaps in between rows. Please help.
Hard to follow. I wish you explained what your doing with your hands.
Dont understand
This is witchcraft change my mind
