It’s a really good thing to knit when you’re in a airplane and you’re not sure if you can bring your knitting needles with you! Thank you so much for sharing ☺️
My wife always knits while in the flights. The only restriction the airlines have is.. you cant take the sharp ended needles made out of any metal. You are allowed to take bamboo needles. Hope this tip helps :) and yes...hand knitting is amazing for flights @Maggie, Thanks for sharing this video :)
Your torturial is really helpful. You show us how to do it slowly and very easy to understand and follow. I will just do the same thing but bigger with 3 different colors. This is my first time and I never knitted before. I followed your steps and now I can do I really fast. Love it and thanks for making this video!
heyy I know I'm almost two years late but I just wanted to say to the owner: thank you for making this video, it helped me with my mini project so much I'm doing as a part of my school holiday work, it took me so long to find a good tutorial as I don't have all the equipments for knitting or some of the tutorials had lots of cuts which meant that I couldn't follow with the video or some of the videos just had terrible explaining!! I also wanted to say to whoever is reading this: 1. I hope your day is amazing and even if it isn't I hope you get better :) 2. have a great rest of your morning, afternoon, evening or night!! 3. you're worth it don't let anyone's negative comment get to you
Thank you so much for this! My aunt is giving birth soon and I have a lot of spare time on my fingers with the quarantine but the stores in my rural area are all sold out of knitting needles and crochets, but I really wanted to make my cousin-to-be a blanky which really left me a bit grumpy! I knew how to make simple finger knitted single rows but now I have something to work with! Do you know any other stitches for finger knitting?
Thank you so much the video is amazing as so as the blanket. And another thank you for teaching my 10 year old daughter to do hand knitting now she loves it
Hi Maggie. Your video is very much understandable for a beginner like me. Your choice of your yarn colour scheme is also very interesting and warm. I think I found my new hobby! Love from Malaysia❤️
This is a really good tutorial and I am already 5 rows in. But at first I tried to make a blanket using the method where you bind off at each end. I found one end had bumps in (kind of like what you've left for the pom poms) and the other end just kept getting longer! Is there a method to make a perfectly rectangular blanket with straight edges using finger knitting?
Helo When you start connecting on the third stitch. Do you start connecting each stitch after that, til you get to the end stich marker. Or do you connect every third stich til you get to the end stitch marker?
How did you get your lines so thin? With my finger knitting project, the lines turned out kind of loose and wind, but yours was tight and thin. How can I get that? An example of what I mean is at the time 5:35. Your line was really thin and looked like a braid, but mine comes out kind of loose and wide. :c
Very easy to understand, I had my own difficulties doing it though mostly because I used multi/dark colored yarn. But now both of my girls have their own blanket made by hand by dad
Can you make another video arm knit with one ball of thin yarn (Not Multiple). I love your videos please make this video. In this video how long does it take to make this DIY finger blanket.
Is there a way to make a blanket out of a first row chain that has been cut? Like, can you add other chains on somehow without having to untie the chain and then weaven them through?
Hello! Thanks for your easy to follow video! I'm nesting for my second child and wanting to try my hand at knitting for the very first time ever. I'm very intrigued by this style, and want to give it a go! However I'm wondering if there is a reason why you chose 35 stitches as your width and turned it 11 times as your length? I know it's for a baby, but it seems quite small. Also, how many skeins did you end up using for that size? I'm looking at buying 5 skeins, each at 200m/50g. Does that seem like a decent amount or do I need more? Thanks so much!!!
Everything was going great until the part she was connecting it then I had a big problem on the far side of the knit, because I could not understand anything she was saying.
Hello! By the way how many yarn balls of chunky and aran would you need to make a real sized baby blanket? if you could answer my question Maggie that would be great!
I have never seen anything like this WOW This is a lost treasure, kids really have no idea what they are missing..wasting time on video games an such foolishness 😟
Just a request: can you please make a something with very thin yarn. When I came across your video I thought you used the yarn I bought which is very very THIN. DISCLAIMER: If you are going to buy yarn for this don’t buy very thin yarn it won’t work! Instead buy a thicker yarn, don’t make the same mistake I did.
Omg! I have been finger knitting since I was like 5, but I didn't know you could connect them! I made headbands and necklaces for everyone I knew. 🤣
Thank you for your videos,I am starting to learn how to do there to keep busy during this coronavirus! Hope your doing well too! 😊

Good idea!

Thank you for this very helpful video! I just finished making my first ever baby blanket and it looks amazing! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your tutorials! I think I can finger knit despite my arthritis!
Anyone remember when they finger knitted one giant row and used it as a scarf? Might just be me
i remember lol
I used the single rows as 'thicker wool' and then it actually did look like a stitch
I did that too lol
Yes... I’m a beginner... it’s why I clicked on this video 😂
Very relatable LOL
We can make a big one
With the same way 😍
I like it
I'm sarah , I'm from Algeria, North Africa, and I like your videos, continue 😚 thank you
So glad you enjoyed!
You are very skilled . Thank you for sharing .

Hi Maggie. Your video is very much understandable for a beginner like me. Your choice of your yarn colour scheme is also very interesting and warm. I think I found my new hobby! Love from Malaysia❤️
Love your tutorial and how easy to understand how to do this technique. Can you make a quick video or comment on how to have strait edges.
Thnx 🤗
Why does mine keep getting loose strands in the back of the piece? Like they’re bumps on every stitch I don’t know what I’m doing weong
Thank you so much now I knit for a living and I started in 4th grade you gave me a lot of tips to get better thanks to you❤️.
I loved the video thanks!!
I have a question how does this stitch coalled?
For all your finger and arm knit chunky and thick wool blankets can I use WORSTED YARN 4 instead.
Hi! I just got some yarn and wanted to know, can I make this as a bigger blanket? Thank you if you respond!
Hi i love this so I tried it out but then my one didn't look like yours even though I did everything you did
Same

This was great! Can't wait to try it. Is this for beginners? With little skills?
Awesome!!!!!!!!This is the best ever!!!!
How do I close the gaps ? Thx 😊
That Is so nice What happens if I need to add yarn? How do I bind off and add? Have You ever blocked it?
T H to add new yarn you can tie the new skein to the old one. And I haven’t blocked it. It’s quite a flimsy knit unless you use thicker yarn ❤️👍🏻
Love your creativity 💗
Carol Perry thank you so much ☺️ ❤️
Helo
When you start connecting on the third stitch. Do you start connecting each stitch after that, til you get to the end stich marker.
Or do you connect every third stich til you get to the end stitch marker?
Start at the third stitch, then every stitch after that 👍🏻
What number yarn are you using? This is cute 😍

Me and my friend stayed up the whole night watching videos like this
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love this video!! Any recommendation on making a bigger version of this blanket? Instead of doing 35 rows like your instruction. Thank you kindly=)
Just add as much as you want until you like the length, should work fine
Super easy quand 🤗and so cute 💝
All of the people are lying to me well, they’re not lying to me, but I just can’t do it, and I will never be able to do it
Hi! Thank your for these videos! Can you do one on how to make a dog sweater?
Is it going to work without stitch markers
POV:you just finished the second row and only now realised you messed up near the beginning of the second row 😢
Can you make another video arm knit with one ball of thin yarn (Not Multiple).
I love your videos please make this video.
In this video how long does it take to make this DIY finger blanket.
Unfortunately one strand of thin yarn wouldn’t be thick enough for arm knitting
