Nice video! I mostly finger knit, experimenting different stitches, but finger crochet could be useful. As a fellow self-taught, your explanation is actually better than technical terms for me to understand haha

So happy to have found this! Im terrible with tension, using a hook to crochet , using my fingers is going to be simple ! I am self taught as well which makes this tutorial even better haha. Think I could get away with using only one thread, instead of two? I'm assuming the outcome will make a thinner scarf obviously , just hesitant to begin this infinity scarf and realize that one thread is too hard to maneuver with my fingers. I am going to try out the one thread and hope that I wasnt 3 years too late with my questions hahaha Thanx for this idea! Beautifully done.

I love crocheting a lot better than knitting. Of course i use crochet hooks but I've tried the finger crochet with my small finger and made a scarf with loose loops. It came out pretty interesting. I love yours too. It's beautiful. I feel like i need to make one now. 😄

este britt Depending on the brand. You will need two if there is a decent amount of yarn of it otherwise you will need 4. If you get the wool ease brand you only need 2

Don't know if you will be able to reply since this video has been uploaded for a while now. I recently got interested in knitting. I tried using the knitting needles, but I have a hard time controlling them. I like that your video is simple to follow, but I have a hard time with the consistency and tightness of the single knots. Some are too close and others have larger gaps between them. I am a super beginner, lol, so I'm assuming it will take me a while.

+Kelly Midmore there are other videos on how to finger knit blankets. I myself have been trying for a very long time now to finger crochet a scarf and haven't been able to figure it out. I'm wanting to make a blanket but need more yarn and the bulkier yarn is the best for it. Not sure if that helps or not. Sorry.

I'm trying to make a scarf for a few people, but I'm really having a hard time with it. How do I make it so that my scarf isn't a circle at the beginning? Please help!
Just don't link it to the other side. When you get to the end of the first row do an extra stitch then go back the other way.
5:18 of this video explains how you incorporate that extra stitch better
Could you please do this a little bit slower and offer more explanation of how you do it?
