    It’s underrated that he holds both shoes in frame the whole video every time.

    I used to run in GT-2000, but thought that they lost stability when they went to the knit upper design. Instead I tried the Adrenaline and have been very happy with them. I have also run in Nimbus and Kayano and the Adrenaline feels as komfortable as the Nimbus and as stable as the Kayano. I also like the classic look of the Adrenaline better.

    Good points made.
    Stability shows shooting be marketed differently.. You don't need to be pronating already to buy a pair.... The support helps reduce the chance of later becoming a pronator

    I returned my women's size 7, ASICS GT-2000 12, I found them too soft and my feet were sliding around in them. I purchased the Adrenalines GTS 23, size 7.5 instead. They are firmer and more snug, and I'm happier with them.

    Anyone with (very) wide feet .. I suggest trying the Adrenalines. I've trained and ran 2 marathons buying various 4E width GT-2000s for years, admittedly not the v12, but I've just bought the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 in 4E and the width is amazing. I'm not that fussed about soft/bounce, as I adjust with insoles anyway.

    I've never commented on your videos, but it's long overdue. At this point, you're the only guys I watch (online), when it comes to shoe review. Keep it up, boys! I'm sidelined (fifth week of no running, due to a stress fracture in the knee), so watching what you all are producing has helped keep me close to the sport and hoping for better health in the late-fall/early winter.

    I love the softer landings of the ASICS over the brooks, but the guiderails stability ultimately wins out in the long term for me. ASICS just digs into my arch way too much at around mile 2 to be comfortable for longer runs. I get that “it’s doing its job” since that’s why I’m feeling it, but if I’m limping back home and having to cut my runs short that doesn’t do me any good. I wish Asics and Brooks had a baby. That would be my perfect shoe.

    I have a narrow foot and found the Adrenaline GTS22 a perfect fit for me. Same with the Ghost 14 which I purchased in Gortex for competing on dewy grass. I was so excited to upgrade to the 23 but was so disappointed to discover that the fabric is way more luminous in the toe box in comparison to the 22 making it unsuitable for my feet. The same with the Ghost 15. The lace holes almost meet up there’s that much excess fabric. I thought I’d try the ASICS GT2000 based on your review but unfortunately, the design swamped my foot. I used to wear them a few years back and they had a narrower toe box back then. I’m also not a fan of the elf heel counter. Looks like I’m going to have to buy a few pairs of the GTS22 to keep me going! Thanks for your review.

    When it comes to Brooks it starts off nice for me and then after that I don't find myself wanting to pick them up and running them anymore I guess they don't give that much back as far as energy return or just a lively feeling shoe. The GT2000 for sure is going to be the more fun shoe for me and on top of that Brooks shoes tend to feel a bit more clunky and my feet gets hotter in those shoes and I'm not for sure why

      I have worn the GT2000 for many years and just got the brooks and noticed my feet get hotter and I got blisters after a half marathon. I have run many full marathons in the GT’s and never got blisters.

  • @mikemackenzie8618

    I searched out this video because I have worn the GT 2000 for many years and was convinced to try the brooks adrenaline 23. I did a 10km run and felt fine. Then did a half marathon and came home with blisters, and then did a 28km run and was hurting. The brooks have less cushion up front for a harder impact and my feet were so hot. I have a 60km road race coming up and think I need to go buy a pair of GT2000. I feel let down by the person who sold me the brooks. They will just be for short runs now.

    I’m a neutral runner and with Asics, I strongly prefer their newest support/stability offerings over neutral-Kayano over the Nimbus and GT2000 over the the Cumulus. Nimbus is too “marshmellowy” and the Cumulus is just sloppy and meh 🫤.

    Adrenaline’s drop is too high. They need to bring that down to 10mm and make those guide rails look nicer.

    Kids should start with durability shoes...Y adults should wear more stability shows.. Not for handicapped or O'Toole who assistant private

    Which one is better glycerine gts20 or adrenaline gts23

    • @DoctorsofRunning
      @DoctorsofRunning  6 месяцев назад +2

      Depends on what you want! The adrenaline is lighter, firmer and a little more versatile into faster paces. The glycerin gts is softer, a little heavier and better at easier paces

    Is there a difference in arch support between the two?

    • @DoctorsofRunning
      @DoctorsofRunning  11 месяцев назад +3

      Yes. The GT 2000 feels like there is more arch support on the actual arch (midfoot), whereas the Adrenaline feels like it is more centered in the heel
