Why can't they match the images with the narrative? A 19th century story with 20th century models and photos?? Indian Wars narrative and Civil War illustrations!! News flash: there was no Confederate Army at Beecher's Island in 1868!! They're turning out these "history" video productions without any real review of content and historical continuity. Evidently, no real historian of the period helped with the selection of the images. The script is lame and poorly written, and obviously not proofread. For example: "Of the fifty-one scouts who had stood against an overwhelming force, six were killed and fifteen wounded, including Major Forsyth himself." As an historian of the Indian War period I know that Forsyth was killed, however to the uninformed listener, the narration leaves it ambiguous as to his being killed or wounded. That's very poor sentence structure. The AI narration is clumsy at best, placing pauses where none should be and ignoring other punctuation as if it were not there at all.. How sad that many people viewing these videos will never be aware of their numerous mistakes and cheap, careless production values. The whole thing is quite substandard by any measure!
