Paul Winchell had a patent on an artificial heart that he invented and voiced Tigger to boot. Quite an impressive guy!

Great fun! Mr. Allen reminded me that black-and-white television sets were still sold throughout the 1970s.
While b & w television shows and motion pictures are fine, I do appreciate the living color ones more except for suspense dramas.
I also find Mr. Dawson's remark with 'reclaiming' amusing in that 'recycling' had not yet become common nomenclature. I suspect that term would not have become universal in use until a decade or so later.

I came here because I saw Mr. Winchell on an episode of The Virginian. He was incredibly talented and intelligent. Look him up on IMDB. Also, Jerry should have gotten to meet Achmed.

Amazing to have Pat Carroll on that show too. She voiced Ursula from The Little Mermaid amongst many other characters. Also, I wonder whatever became of young Skipper Gobel.

Using an inflation calculator, the $3000 dummy in 1973 dollars would cost $18,996.49 in 2022.
