It was also hilarious, the way he abruptly started running and jumped on the table made me cry of laughter but also some genuine reactions Tarantino style, great scene.
What a great scene. It portrays how in a civilized world, we don't know how to deal with brutish savage behavior of our natural instincts. And even though we will tolerate a lot of misbehavior, thankfully there is a limit. However it takes someone else to jump in first. (The end of the dinner scene where they finally gang up on him).

Hi, currently working on a TV documentary dedicated to Ruben Östlund’s « The Square », I would like very much to know the possibility to use excerpts of your Terry Notary interview. How should I contact at the Landmark Theatres ? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Amélie Sourice, researcher.
Good to know he was acting! That dinner scene felt genuine and I was also terrified ... something about his gaze.
The dinner scene was genuinely terrifying to me.

I was in awe of Terry's act in The Square! He should have won an award!
I love Terry! Modest, talented and obviously hard working.
His scene in this film was one of the best i've ever seen, i was genuinely scared.

The dinner scene was a sledgehammer on my fucking life force
great artist
I so admire this man! He's so talented!
I didn't understand in the movie if they beat him to death, or did they just neutralize him?
I respect that guy.
