Wow how confusing, watched 4 times and still clueless. Very difficult to see the stitches, looks like a jumble mess 🤣. I tried it with the video step by step, turned into a knitted mess. Being this my very first attempt, maybe I should try this pattern after I made a few other patterns. Im not going to call it quits just yet because I live the way the finished product looks. Thanks for being you - a real person 👍
Oh dang, yes, this is quite ambitious for a first attempt at finger knitting. I totally understand why you’re so confused lol. I would recommend starting with this tutorial first 🤗 ruclips.net/video/bLxGRsXDSUk/видео.htmlsi=Rm96ZJTEjCKvYa6L
It is a beautiful cable. Sorry you’re having a tough go. I was ramping up on product for a show so I did this one live with no edits because I just didn’t have time. There is a way to slow the video down in settings. Maybe that could help? Thanks so much for tuning in and taking the time to comment ☺️
I love the unedited.. it held my interest and I had no trouble watching you correct any mistakes. This video for me was informative and a pleasure to watch. With the edited one, regardless of whose they are I find them kind of deadpan and my attention wanders. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot! P.S. having a potty mouth myself, you were wonderful! Not sure I could’ve done it! Lol 😂
This warms my heart, Sarah 🥹❤️ Voiceover is my least favorite as well. It seems so many more people prefer concise content, and I’m no good at doing that live 🙊 Note to self…given your feedback, I may need to produce more videos like this one. Feels so much more authentic to me as well. Challenge accepted 🤗 I really appreciate you; your support allows me to do what I love most 🥰
Oh, please know I didn’t take it that way at all. Part of my editing process is zooming in/out on the stitches so I completely understand what you’re saying. It is harder to see the stitches when I can’t zoom in on them. Since I did this with the 3cm, maybe I should do another in the 2cm as well, this one with edits ☺️ Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify how I received your message. Based on how you constructed it, there could be no misinterpretation on your intended kindness ❤️ I always want to hear what you think! It helps me improve, so thank you! ☺️
Hello, so I'm new at hand knitting. I'm excited to see such creative stitches for hands knitting. Would really love to get a good look at your finished projects. Perhaps at the start and end of each video? Thanks for your lovely work.
It is a beautiful cable for sure, Beverly 🥰 I would recommend learning a few other stitch patterns before attempting cable work. The garter st, seed st, and wicker st (crisscross st) would be great patterns to work in that order to prepare for working cables. Hope you find this suggestion helpful. Happy Finger Stitching 🤗🥰
Hi Ivette 🤗 The bind off is worked after the final row of the repeat is worked once you reach your desired length. It’s the standard knit bind off for each stitch. I get my yarn in large quantities from an overseas supplier. Are you interested in buying in bulk?
Hi Stacy, just watched your scalloped cable chunky blanket and wondered if possible to show the completed blanket. Would love to see all of it. I can’t find any images of the completed blanket.
The right and left edges are considered to be scalloped because the cables are worked from the very first st to the very last st. Most of the time, each row will begin and end with a knit st - not part of the cable - which places a small border along the edge. Are you referring to the foundation and bind off chains being scalloped? If so, I’m not sure what that means.
@stacyjames_jsar I guess just asking if I can scallop without cables? I am more of a beginner but would like to scallop to create a baby blanket, smaller and no cables
@timapeterson7464 ok, so I think what you may be looking for is a simple knit. I have a beginner tutorial for that if you’d like ☺️ ruclips.net/video/bLxGRsXDSUk/видео.htmlsi=CSuniWAHjrQ3NmPH
Maybe if the loops (or stitches) weren't so tight, the pattern can be seen better. I'm sure the finished product looks great, but it's hard to see it on the video.
The video’s thumbnail shows the entire blanket completed if that’s what you’re referring to. If you’re having a hard time seeing the pattern as it’s worked, watching it on a larger screen, such as a computer monitor or TV, can help ☺️ Either way, just follow the pattern for at least 20 rows. The piece stretches out as it’s worked. Trust the process, and thanks so much for watching 🤗
Cabling can be very confusing, but with practice, that “aha” moment will come. There are so many beautiful cables out there, but I get it if it’s just not for you ☺️
I’m certainly not here to please everyone, and you’re certainly not being forced to watch. I’ll continue to do me ☺️ Hopefully you’ll be able to find someone more suitable to your personality 🤞🏼
I ran across this video last week and couldn’t wait to try it! I finished the blanket last night and it turned out great! Can’t wait to make another!
Yay 🤗🤗 I’m so glad you love it ♥️ Thanks for sharing your experience with me!

Love the final product. I’m a currently trying to make it but this video is a little hard to follow & hard to see which stitches.

@@stacyjames_jsar you did a great job, I’m not at all discrediting. I just wish I could replicate your amazing work.

Thank you, and yes, I agree! I had a big show to get ready for so video production took a back seat to everything else. Better vids to come 🤗
I’m new at this . I made three so far . Wanting to learn some new stiches. I don’t think I’m ready for this one. I looks pretty

❤ my favorite color blue. Where do you get your hanks?
I would like to see the bidding off on this.

Thank you for the reply. I’d love to get my yarn in bulk, but not just yet. One day 😊
You’re welcome ☺️ Reach out when you’re ready, I’m happy to share.

Thank you for watching, Denise! Yes, I can certainly do that. I’ll update the thumbnail with the full blanket later today ☺️
@@stacyjames_jsar Thanks for the response, still not seeing a thumbnail or a photo of the finished blanket. Am I missing something?
@denisebourget290 Denise, I am sooo sorry!! Thank you for reminding me; I will update that today. I appreciate your patience and understanding 🤍
Thumbnail has been updated :)
This is so pretty. Where can I find 3cm yarm from?
Thank you for all u do, from San Francisco
Thank YOU for tuning in! 🤍
Do you have a tutorial on just scalloping the borders

What brand of yarn are you using?
I order from an overseas supplier, but most of the big box craft stores carry the jumbo chenille.

To much talking
