      Right! I've watched so many and this is the 1st video where her "excessive talking " didn't bother me one bit! And she was the 1st to explain how to make this blanket to where I'd understand it including a straight forward answer on how many skiens it takes for what size you want. Instead if giving some weird formula that I don't know how anybody understands

    the tutorial starts at 8:30 :]
    what you need is your hands and:
    4 skeins for a lap throw
    6 for a twin or single bed
    8-10 for a king or queen
    (those are sort of estimates)

    So awesome! I'm so excited to start my new project. I must admit I was a little scared to try this; but you made it look easy. So thank you for that. I was taught to crochet with my fingers when I was about seven years old. They had to retrain me how to crochet with a hook. I never could get the hang of knitting. So this is so nice. After I get good at this, I'm going to teach my grandkids so we all can have a good time together making something nice instead of video games and TV!!!! Thank you so much 😊

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. I did my first blanket 12 Skeins 🙀. It is a quad color yarn. I absolutely loved your tutorial. I made a few mistakes and was able to fix it without having to take the entire blanket apart. I have a slight arc to my first row I think I made it to tight to begin with but for a first try thanks to your CLEAR instructions I call it a Success.

    I have looked at this yarn so many times. Now I am going to have to try this. I crochet and the only knitting I do is with the Kniffy Knitter loom which I love. I even use them to teach my second graders how to ‘knit’. I watched the replay and didn’t catch if you said how big a 4 ball blanket would be-approximately. Thank you for your channel. I enjoy it so much although I have to catch the replay.

      The four ball creates a very generous throw that will cover one person nicely.

    Loved doing this project in a few hours had a really nice soft throw I made with my own two hands and 4 skeins of Walmart Mainstays Chenile Heathered yarn I got for $12. I really appreciate your presentation.

    I have 10 grandchildren!!! I crocheted a blanket using the big blanket yarn but this year i am going to try to get the other ones done by hand crocheting! how long does it usually take for twin size blanket? do you chain 30 or 35? how many skeins of yarn do you think it will take? I think in your video you said 4 this is the best video i have found showing how to make the blankets thank you

    Yes I m definitely going to try this, I m not sure how much the yarn will be here in Ontario Canada! But if its about $10.00 in the US its going to be about $ 13.00 or $15.00!😊

    Thank you! Great tutorial. I started with say 20 stitches and they seem to keep growing. I started with 4ft width and now its 6ft. What am I doing wrong? I need to take it all apart bc I feel like I am wasting so much yarn. I was aiming towards for a 4x4 blanket. How many stiches and rows do you do for a typical throw?

    I am left-handed how do I do it left-handed trying to make something with this chunky yarn I'm trying to figure out how to do it because my mom bought this and she didn't know how to do it so she hands it to me like I know how to do it

      I am left handed by birth but I knit using my right hand so I just did that. I’m sorry I can’t help you further.

      This is knitting. I prefer to do it on a flat surface, but it could be done in your lap.

    I have started a chunky blanket and have done about afoot in length…the beginning rows are turning into a semicircular…why is this happening…I have undone it twice already!! Help!!

      Try to keep your work loose. The circular bottom means you probably had different tightness in your stitches.

      Yes, same thing happened to me. I think we pulled too tightly to started off 1st row? My blanket is not exactly rectangular. But would love advice on how to correct for my next blanket.
