    To anyone getting frustrated: I did too! I got really mad and wanted to give up when mine didn’t look like hers. They have been doing this awhile, this is ur first! And don’t worry, it will be okay in the end. Just walk away or distract yourself. You’ve got this! I’m not done w mine, already made mistake after mistake. I’ll update how it turned out!

    Just finished a blanket using your wonderful video ! I did it in light gray and dark gray alternating rows like you did in your video with the gray and white . I love the way you start the blanket and I love alternating knitting the last stitch it gives such a beautiful finished even edge ! You’re amazing!
    I also ordered your jumbo chenille yarn it just came today ! I can’t wait to start working with it ! This gives really good instructions. I bought just one ball of yarn to try it, since it's $10/ ball can get expensive. I've never done this, or crocheted or knitted before. I found if I miss one stitch or all the loops aren't very close in size, it messes the whole blanket up. Not for me but glad I have it a try (I can but one much cheaper than making one without all the time spent on it).

    I apologize if already asked, I did go through comments but didn't see answer. Can any one tell me how many skeins for larger sizes, like King or Queen? I guess how many knots/loops in a row then too? Or do you just start and measure as you go? This video was EXCELLENT! Our area has a class on it once a month but I've missed every one so I looked on here!

    • @Beckie.B.LeeCountySWFL

      For a queen size chunky finger knit blanket, you would typically need to start with around 60-80 chains depending on how thick your yarn is and how loose you want your knit to be; a looser knit will require fewer chains, while a tighter knit will require more. Usually queen blankets are 80 inches wide. Have a tape measure as your chaining to determine how many chains and keep a tally for yourself if you want to make another queen blanket in the future. And queens are usually 100 inches long. So with your tape measure handy knit a lot of rows until you get 100 inch length on the queen blanket and write that down as well for future references hope I am making sense and I hope this is helpful.

    Hello first I have to say that I LOVE this pattern. Doesn’t look so airy as most patterns. So pretty. I wanted to know if you can tell me how much yarn would I need for a Blanket 80 x 56”. And when we start with the chain stitch is this the Width or the Length. Thank you

    • @BeCozi
      @BeCozi  2 года назад

      Thank you, glad you like it. For blankets you start with the narrower side, a blanket should be 56x80. You would need 17 skeins of BeCozi Jumbo chenille (not any other) and start with 24-25 stitches.

      6 skeins of BeCozi Jumbo chenille yarn for a small blanket 30x50 inches and 9 skeins of BeCozi Jumbo chenille for a medium size 40x60 inches. You can buy it here (not available in any stores): becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn/products/jumbo-chenille. For two colored blanket: half of one color and half of another.

    My yarn wasn’t as chunky as theirs so it came out a little short on the ends I’d recommend adding some stitches if your yarn isn’t as fluffy. I will know for next time. Next time I plan to try three colors. This was simple and easy really. I usually crochet and compared to that this was a treat. And honestly it looks better

    Love how this blanket turns out with the two colours and the two stitches. Can you help me with one thing? How are you securing the second color of yarn when you add it on the third row? You mentioned making a knot, but I noticed the tail still hanging off the end. Are you sewing that loose end of the second color at some point? Thank you. Love your videos!

    Could I increase the number of the loops more than 30 ? Does the loops number have to be even? Or does it not make any difference, whether even or odd, and I can choose any number and length of the blanket I can choose?
    and what is the lenght of the blanket or how many loop it take for the lenght of the blanket tell the end

    • @BeCozi

      @BeCozi thank you but i enter the link you give some examples for the measures for the baby blanket and large and other type the number of skiens is not as the result of the calculation of the width divided by 2.2
      For example if we divide 2.2 with 50 it will give 22 and in your measures you put that 50×60 starts with 26 stitches could you explain to me that please

    Hello, is it possible to do this with 3 colors instead of 2? I tried but there was too much loose yarn on the left side, so I think I need to stitch in the 1st color onto the first stitch of 3rd color row. But this wasn't working perfectly either. Or maybe I need to cut each color each time, and then connect it? Thank you!

    • @BeCozi
      @BeCozi  2 года назад

      It is possible to use 3 or more colors but then you will need to cut the yarn at the end of 3rd row and attach it by making a knot or burning the ends.
