I Am a knitter and crocheted and this loopy yarn intimidated me so I never bought it, but now I will give it a try. Thankyou for the easy to understand tutorial.
I'm only 11 and this is my new favourite hobby! Ive always wanted to be able to make blankets and stuff! Thanks for the tutorial Edit: I'm 12 now! Edit: woah looking back on this comment is really cool! Its so good to see people enjoying new things, especially during the pandemic! I've also started maked cloth dolls and I've also started writing a story! I can't wait until I'm 13 and get to look back at this! 😂🤪😀
My grandmother randomly gave me a bunch of this loop yarn. Then, I realized it was colors that were in her ocean themed living room. So, I decided to make her a blanket with the yarn she gave me ❤

I saw this yarn at the store and had to get some....It just looked cool and they had the perfect colors for our living room. Your tutorial is awesome...I love how you have covered so many things in just this short time....I have always wanted to learn to knit but even after several classes, I can't knit so this is a great alternative for me.......btw, I can crotchet just fine, lol....Thank you again sew much......
This was amazing, I loved it! So simple yet beautiful. It reminds me of how my mother would make these kinds of blankets for winter. Thank you for making this video.
First, THANK NYOU for showing us an explaining everything clearly and in simple terms. I am ready to buy some yarn and try it! I have a question I hope you can answer. When you are doing the stitches, how tightly should the yarn be pulled when pulling the loops through?
My first time on your channel and working with loop yarns. Your tutorial was very easy to follow. I wish you could of posted the full blanket with border so I can get a better idea. Thanks!!!
Thank you for this video. I've always seen this yarn and always liked it but I'm not a knitter but now I can knit me a blanket that I will absolutely live. Thank you soooooo much. I really love this.
I picked up some of this yarn not really understanding exactly how or what to do with it. Thank you for this video. Now I have another new way of creating blankets or whatever I choose.
This was incredibly helpful. I’ve been wanting to buy loop yarn for months now but wasn’t sure how to use it. I’m definitely pick up a couple bunches next time I go to the craft store to practice on.
thank you so much for this! i’ve been wanting to try some new hobbies out during quarantine and this is exactly what i needed to keep me busy during the week 😁
This is so cute. I started crocheting, and I would make stuff for the girls I babysit. One of the girls surprised me with some yarn, but it was this type of yarn. So I was unable to crochet with it, and I really want to try this.
Love the border. I made a large blanket with the border shown here. My only question is how to avoid tails when changing colors at the end of a row? I used your idea for adding a new skein in the middle of a row but wasn't sure it would not make a bump at the end of a row. Will look at more of your videos. Thanks!
Thank you so much for doing this video because it is very helpful!!! (Especially since I have no experience whatsoever!!!) really like and appreciate how you explained everything because it actually makes sense to me!!! I'll let you know how my blanket making goes - as I am making crafts for Christmas presents this year!!!🙋🙋🙋
i went to hobby lobby and saw this stuff and it was really fluffy so i wanted to try it and i am so glad i did its so quick and easy! this video explains it so well too!
Curtasy crafts, I was just wondering how you started your blanket. I watched it over and over but NOPE nothing Did I miss something else or do you have a video that shows you how you start the beginning of your beautiful work. I am just amazed by the work that all you beautiful people who are so talented with everything you all do I just happened to going through the videos because I do know how to crochet and when I saw this I was so amazed because I am starting to get arthritis in my fingers so bad that I hoping that this will help put alittle less stress on my fingers, but I am sorry for going on and on about myself and I would love to learn how to start this beautiful word GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SO MUCH TALENT AND PASS IT ON TO US MAY GOD BLESS YOU ❤❤❤❤❤❤🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Lorraine Becchetti I think all she does is pulls out the yarn & counts 70 loops then starts knit stitching up? She uses a pin to mark the end of the loops (for the ex, she put the pin at 10 loops so for 70 loops she’d put the pin at the end of 70). Doesn’t seem like she has a special way of starting it. That’s all it seemed like from the video. 5:04 is her explaining how she did the border after she initially looped it.
My little sis got a ball of this yarn and she was able to make a really cool scarf! Thank you!

My grandma who’d been knitting for about 85 years now, and would knit like a jumper per day, cannot do the small movements and hold needlew anymore, which is very sad, but then I found this finger knitting yarn in a yarn shop and now just trying to understand it so we can practice it together - hopefully she’ll be able to keep her hands busy with this! Next stop, arm knitting 😂
Thank you soooo much my friend bought me some wool and I had no clue how to use it. I’m in the process of making my first and probably not last blankie ❤️
I work with a woman who has a disability so I purchased 2 strings to get her working with her hands. Thank you for going slow enough to understand! I’m looking forward to trying again with her on the next one!

@@CutesyCrafts Thank you for your response. I did buy the Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn, Warm Clay, however it did not make that beautiful border in all white like your blanket. Yes, the fuzziness makes it warmer than a normal crocheted or knit blanket. It still has holes though, so not as warm as a blanket without holes.
