Love hearing the dancers talk, gives different insights & makes me feel a deeper connection and investment in the dancers and the performances.
Fun fact:
As a gifted young poet and performing arts student Tupac, played The Mouse King in a production at the elite Baltimore School of the Arts, where he studied ballet and acting.
Interesting to think what might have been, had his family not chosen to relocate to California, where his career as a Rapper and his Thug Life persona began. He would have been a genius either way.
I love how twisted and creepy the costume of this mouse king is. It's almost like if pennywise was alive during the black plague.

Man, this actually made me so happy. Idc how late I am. I’m new to ballet although experienced in band performances, both group and solo; as well as exotic dancing. This is just so wonderful to see the level of not only talent but just overall communal effort. I long to be a part of a group again that makes things some day. The costumes are amazing and the man speaking really delivered.
