If it goes for the work a cam service would be a good idea. It would be nice to know the other internal mods as well. Diagnostic should be a no brainer for an HD mech. Still a damn cool bike.
Then you buy it and go to make some mods and guess what? Cross threaded bolts, things epoxied or super glued, wires just twisted together and taped ect.
Hockey pucks for motor mounts, all the bolts that shook loose are replaced with self tappers, the full tires worth of rubber under the rear fender, all the electronics are straight wired to the battery, grey silicone replaced factory gaskets, jb weld on the exhaust leaks, spark plugs backed out a half inch then froze into place and they say it’s not a misfire it’s got big cams
I know the feeling about not sure I want to get rid of it. Much to my wife's dismay. I have decided to keep my Road King along with the Wide Glide I just bought. I'm still on the fence if I'm going to put a big bore kit in the King.
@@EasyRiderGreg Oh ok. I can only speak from boring out my 88 to a 95, but cams, bore and tuned, it will honestly feel like a completely different bike. I say go for it, bro. You wont be disappointed if it's tuned properly after.
Street bobs came with wire wheels. Don't think they're stock. And yeah the HD wheel game is hot right now. You're always all non-chalant about the wheels but I struggled for months to find some and I still had to get the Coated and drilled out and then by the correct spacers to fit mine. Ready to go Powder coated wheels are going for MORE than 1k with non tires
The street bob custom came with mags. I think 2013 was the only year they even did a "custom." Yeah, I can't believe how much people charge for mags these days. Maybe i should part out the bike. 🤣
Honestly if you aren’t strapped for cash keep it as a cruising bike or as a secondary stunt bike you can tell you really like it. no since of getting rid of something if you don’t need too.
Need to correct you: the Street Bob has never been a Custom model. It was offered in the HD1 program which allowed the customer to order it with certain changes and add-ons, one of which, was the 103 engine. It never came on a "custom" model--only through factory order program.
I see what you're saying. Just going by Kbb and nada they have it listed in 2013 as the "street bob fxdb" or "street bob custom fxdbp." I guess the key is all the hd-1 custom street bobs came with the 103 as opposed to the 96. www.kbb.com/motorcycles/harley-davidson/fxdbp-street-bob-custom/2013/?pricetype=trade-in

Thats a great price Jon!! If I hadn't purchased my 09 Fatbob already I would've totally hit you up. Good luck on a smooth transaction man!
Facebook ads be like "Harley Dyna for sale. garage kept, adult owned and never mistreated"

Avoid future regret and keep it.
Brand of this awesome mags please thanks !
We both know the TC88 and ratios of the 5 speed are WAY better for stunts.

You had a lot of fun on that bike - but the tricky purple bike has become more you!
