The last few weeks have been crazy for Titanfall, seems like the game might be back and I wanna enjoy it for as long as I can. let's talk about it.

Started playing Apex 2 years ago, found out about Titanfall2 after. This is a dream come true for me. Apex is okay and i love lots of things about it. But I find Titanfall2 more enjoyable, even more fast paced gameplay. The titans are the cherry on top. Since the servers were fixed, I havent bothered to go back to Apex.
Nothing compares to Titanfall 2 imo, once you start learning how to move crazy fast too with slide hopping it’s over you get so hooked
Same happened to me but like 4 years ago lol. When you realize titanfall have the same guns as apex it’s so good
Stopping a DDOS attack isn't really something you can do as a hacker from the outside. You have to have administrative, sometimes physical, access to the servers that are being targeted to even begin remediation. What most likely happened is Respawn learned better ways to detect attacks and used their other games such as Apex as testing grounds before patching the backend servers of TF2. With that said, that doesn't mean that someone else hasn't caught wind that the DDOS is done and the servers are alive again, inspiring them to reinvigorate this once dying game by hacking game modes and such. But whatever the case, this is definably a welcome development, and one that will have many, such as myself, reinstalling Titanfall 2 to enjoy this great game once again.

Would be nice but highly doubt it due to the overwhelming success of apex, but I think what they will do is mix the 2 somehow
Nikko, thank you for this video!! I'm totally with you and everyone else in the titan fall community!!! I fell in love with it since the first titan fall on Xbox, shoot that's the main reason I bought an Xbox, I truly hope it is really here to stay.
I let my PS+ membership run out because I couldn’t play TF2. I so want to play but I don’t want to renew my membership if they allow the DDOS start up again. I’m sitting on the fence and going to wait to see what happens. I’m excited to come back.
I’m just a casual FD player (I’m not good enough to play multiplayer on console) and I think it’s great, I played for the first time at a friend’s house when all the ddos drama started, and got the game on a disc a bit later. It’s sad, but my disc stopped working about a month ago, so I had to get a digital copy. Started a fresh account and have been having fun. My only issue is that playing with friends online is a nightmare, bc you get booted to the menu every 30 seconds
The booting with friends was something I was experiencing too but if you switch data centers it might help, my problem when I play with a friend now is I can’t see if they’ve joined me or not before searching for a match, have fun! 🤙🏼
@@NikkoNikko98easy was to tell is if they join you and they say the find game and invite faction is locked. Been playing for a week now and just played with friends yesterday. Longest we waited in a menu was about 10 minutes cs one of em had to do something. However only 2 times have i crashed out of a game. It felt like when the game was being ddosed and i was panicked thinking the game was being hacked again. Other than that its been very smooth
If we get titanfall 1 maps 2. So so many players would play and go crazy so it could possibly revive it so much to start a huge movement
Oh I remember the ddosing too vivid... When that started to happen I felt not myself and even my wife noticed that. This game helped me go throug the darkest of times and seeing this happen to the game was heartbreaking. Playing the game since late 2017 and still going with it strong... Can't wait to come from vacation tommorow and hop on and s*** on the new players😂

I literally got the platinum for the game and the next day I catch wind of servers running normally.

I'm on PC EA Origin I find up to 9 000 players. I'm hoping that Frontier Defense will get some love to.

Been Playing Titanfall 2 since 2016 i love this game
So fun man, i play on playstation and there are always around 3000 active players at any given time
No sure who could be fixing titanfall 2s servers. I don't know anything about how hacking works, but maybe because of the sale, the boost in players, and the fact that the ddosing attacks may have stopped might have fixed the servers? Not ignoring the janitor's work of course in regards to the matchmaking changes

Next time I see a discount Titanfall2 I'll probably get it on Steam if I didn't just miss the 3 pound discount would have got for PC but I do already have it on PS4, fun game.
If it's a fan that did the changes, tf1 maps will never be added to tf2 since that would require a client update. Although there are super unstable tf1 maps for the Northstar client. ( they are sorta private )

A hacker wouldn’t be able to port the old TF1 maps into TF2, you will need a whole team of programmers, engineers, technicians and artists. It’s not as easy as just copying and transferring files with things working without stuff crashing or not being compatible.

Hello! So my tf2 wont work. I play on ps4 and whenever I try to play it says add on data corrupted. Ive cleaned the disc, rebuilt the database, and deleted and downloaded the game plenty of times. I use a disc and I cannot get it to work. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Played Titanfall 2 the other day on Xbox but in every other game I'll run into a vary blatant cheater using ESP and/or Aimbot. Quite annoying.

It's a problem with Intel 10th and 11th gen processors Google Titanfall 2 Intel processor issues and it'll show you where to put a command line in to fix it

titanfall looks more fun than apex legends i feel bad playing the inferior version of titfall which is apex legends.
Is the game really fixed tho? Like currently I'm trying to play and almost every match I get put into is a laggy mess. Even if I get timed out it still puts me back in the same lobby. I was playing all day yesterday and it was fine. Now all of a sudden it goes to shit. Is this because of the influx of players or just DDOS? Or something else?
I’m assuming it’s still not 100% fixed across every server or someone might be trying to hack again, maybe if you switch data centers? Hope that helps.
It must be something on your side. I play on PS and on EU servers and never had this problem. It got laggy maybe for a few matches but then I did the most dumbest and mostly in all occasions. Yeah u guessed it, reset the router😂
