I had the idea for this over 2 years ago. But just now feel like i have a core audience, that is familiar enough with my creative experiments to not skip over the first 1-2min "cause nothing is happening". Thanks for watching and supporting my content
This is fantastic!! I can't imagine how long it took to make this video, it's now my favourite one on YT! Simple and sweet. I can't believe how easy you make it look XD
God that first bit where its just walking was too painful to watch. Like every part of me was screaming, "THERES A WALL USE IT". but it really does drive the point home of how distinct the movement is
That was the exact quote that made me realize what I had to do to be successful in multiplayer. When I first got the game I treated it like CoD and got gunned down immediately by pilots whizzing over my head, then I played the campaign and saw that cutscene, and it clicked.
@@snaildad193 yeah, Titanfall 2 works a bit differently lol. The best sniper player I've seen was a guy doing grapple trick on the map to get close to his target in a matter of seconde. Then he would one-shot the poor target with a well placed hipfire shot.... a *hipfire*
@@aperson925 You mean "action speaks louder than words" is the same thing with your word but that what i heard alot (or maybe not am asian i can't see the different XD).
I love how in Apex people found out you could maintain momentum while healing if you bhopped and then players got mad because it was "unintended" and "unfair". Movement shooters are dead and it hurts to see it
It sucks man. I was really bummed out when they removed it because it made it possible to deal with third-party people that aren't completely brain-dead Bots. Anybody can beat Bots who come to third party but when it's good players that's when it's really tough. I remember being able to b hop heal a phoenix kit while listening to the oncoming footsteps of the third-party rushing into the building to finish us off, but I was already be hopping my way out of the building with a phoenix kit so that I could fight a fair fight full health versus full health instead of just being gunned down because I'm a Sitting Duck healing. Me and my buddies knew the game wouldnt be the same again as soon as they patched it. It really sucks. The worst part about the third party is that you never stood a chance because you never had time to stand a chance. Movement is very fast in Apex Legends because of the jump Towers, people can hear your gunshots hop on a jump Tower make a Pathfinder zipline and just speed right on over to you to kill you ASAP while you're still trying to raise your teammate who then has to use a phoenix kit after being raised. I still play but it doesn't feel the same and the skill ceiling has been lowered because of it. It's not like it was hard to learn I didn't understand why people complain
Rain hey man, I’ve got good news for you. There’s a character in the game Apex legends called octane. People see him as terrible and the worst legend, and they are mostly right. But here’s one thing octane and only octane has going for him. He is the only character who can still B-hop heal. If you stim as octane you can heal while b-hopping
@@DDK413 Interesting, I'm testing it out now in firing range and it's not the exact same amount of speed as the original bhop heal but its defiinitely there compared to all other legends. Thanks for the heads up. I have a buddy who mains octane and I don't think he knows about this either, I never get to play him so i didnt even know about it. Lifesaver bro.
@@myrexcontent5840 ok. I had both Titanfall 1&2. for BRs i stick with PUBG. I downloaded Apex and Fortnite, but i never played more than a couple games on either.
This is the most perfect example of “Show don’t tell” I’ve ever seen. You should be proud of yourself for this. One of the best videos on Titanfall 2 and it doesn’t say a single word.
@@BubbleButtGaming sad but true..."veterans" still play titanfall 2, as the game is more populated every day :). New gen play apex...as a fan of titanfall universe I can say that apex is sh#t compared to titanall. We all wait titanfall 3, but I think all we need is new content for titanfall 2.
Titan Fall 2 is such a masterful game, created by huge brain individuals. The maps crafted so that pilots and titans could have even fighting grounds, so that maps aren't too one sided. And what about movement? A movement system with such a high skill gap allowing players to and I quote, "fall with style" move them selves at incredible speeds with grace and persicion, whilst keeping the game balanced by having bullets slow you down so much that your average Joe could kick these little blue birds out of the sky, but a full lobby of high skill movement expert would be a spectacle to behold, pilots, yeeting through the air with grace and speed, damage boosting, slidehopping, titanflying. A truly underrated game. And this video shows its potential
After playing Titanfall 2 just about everyday until Apex came out, and then watching this video, I started to tear up a bunch. I really miss TF|2's movement so much. It was a masterpiece
Gamers: "i want something new and exciting. Same crappy games every single year." Titanfall 2: praised by critics and fans for its new and exciting innovative gameplay Gamers: "aight ima play COD again"
@@olympic_lks9307 hopefully they dont dumb it down... i think they think alot of people were too intimidated to learn tf2's movement system. Hense apex is much much more of a classical shooter. Fingers crossed that titanfall 3 gets to stay true to itself.
Lukas Duve it’s not just the movement, it’s the map design. Tf2 has he best map design in recent history with their maps, completely built around high mobility. That’s why everyone likes tf2s movement and hates cod advanced warfares. Similar movement, very different results
@@fragarena9910 I didn't have a console at the moment that it's available for, but now that it's come out on steam you bet I've been grinding that shit lol
I haven't touched the game in a long time, but I remember playing every single day for 2 straight years before school and work were important. Just watching you slowly piece together the movement system actually had me in tears for a sec. This vid felt soo nostalgic to me, learning how to bunny hop, grapple launch, grav star boost. Learning how to get faster and faster, while still being able to aim a gun like brO THIS GAME IS WILD. Thank you for reminding me of one of my favorite games of all time.
I played on PC and it made me really sad how small of a playerbase there was. It was a struggle to find a match but I eventually started playing with this streamer that got recomended to me, we did 1v1s in the collisium everyday until he ran out of tickets (which took ages) we made stream parties and played loads of attrition and pilot vs pilot. I never actually talked to him in a vc, but we had fun. I would still play it if the playerbase hadn't dissapeared on PC.
Crisp even on console. I remember getting home and and trying to find a match. If sit there for a good 5 minutes between matches But they were so worth it. Every game was super fun. And the movement really is the best part of the game. I just wish more people played It deserves a bigger player base. And the community has always been better than cod 😂
"I see what's happening here You're face to face with greatness, and it's strange You don't even know how you feel It's adorable! Well, it's nice to see that humans never change"
"Honestly kid, I can go on and on, I can explain every speed-based phenomenon. Blurs of red at the speed of sound? Oh, those are pilots just messin' around."
One friend told me that he doesn't want to go back to a game with a non-Respawn movement (be it Titanfall or Apex), and honestly I completely understand him, even if I still play other games. Every time I just want to double jump or climb a wall or run on it.
Yeh, Titanfall is just so much more fast-paced and thrilling (in large part due to its movement system) and it makes other shooters feel slow and clunky.

@@meeperdudeify yes but Titanfall you can stack momentum more than apex. So I would argue it makes your reaction time faster for when you play apex. Double jump is optional and I dont use it for my grapple swings because the grapple has more range in Titanfall , but you are right you don't need the jump for it in Titanfall. You also can't manipulate the grapple swing in Titanfall like you can in apex, but it has more range in Titanfall. I feel like playing one makes me better at the other so I swap between the two games. 😁
I upped my titan game significantly when I decided to only eject when 100% necessary. I die in my titan more often now, but I regularly double or triple my kills during the doom state. I like to think part of it is the pressure of being on the verge of death. It helps you play more cautiously but also feel free to be reckless when you need to? Flaming Northstar for life.
Got this game on sale a few months post-release, spent countless night replaying the campaign and trying to find games on multiplayer. Time went on and I got caught up in life and other games. I found this video a week ago, reinstalled TF2 and I've gone up a generation and a half since. Thank you for bringing me back to a game I loved and missed without even knowing it.
This video in it‘s entirety, title, cuts and content is in my opinion a full on masterpiece. I watched it for the first time a couple months ago and I keep coming back to it. @@vlackrock Look man, Eternal is amazing but it is nothing compared to the movement system in titanfall. Eternal's grapple is just for reaching high places but TF grapples are godly.
Just started playing Apex this past week because Covid's got me bored. Within a day, I find that Pathfinder's grapple was incredible and insanely versatile. I want to learn more. Three days ago I wanted to learn more about his movement, so I look up some movement details. > Wait, this is made in Source?? (kinda) I rebind keys and try again, failing miserably. Edit V2: oh and now it's free on ps-plus. My personal comment: Most people complain how the game isn't free on any other platform tho but I'm just pissed that it's free at all. Titanfall 2 deserves better. If cod is $60/£40 game then Titanfall 2 is worth £100 which is god knows what in dollars.

It was so smooth how the music subtly crept in around the run starting at 2:25. So calm and flowy, fit so well with the movement. Almost therapeutic in a sense.
It insane how fluid the movement is. It's even crazier when you realize that's that fluid but it still accommodates giant robots (and their movement) without leaving the pilots on foot out to dry.
This is sick. Soon as you hit the first rewind I knew exactly what was happening. Very simple but effective way to show how the movement works, and even kinda works as a teaching aid for new players. Great job man.
loved the part where gibraltar said "OIM OPANIN DA SSKAAYS BRUDDDA!!" and then threw his ultimate on our own team. Truly one of the apex legendss experiences
There really is an art to the simple flow of movement that just allows you to glide freely in a captivating environment. It just makes me wish that Apex could’ve only had the same movement and not just the slide and small bounce hops.
When I first played apex I tried to do all the stuff I’m so used to in titanfall, the game just felt sluggish, pathfinder was the only character I liked cause of the grapple hook
@@martinfernandez5127 Same, when I knew Apex was from the same team that made this game I hoped that moved the same as Titanfall 2, felt a bit dissapointed when I played it
Its feel like they were ''wall'' of sort of like the game itself want it to push more faster more jump more slide, but a ''thing'' cant like a rope was holding me to the ground. Hope Apex did not kill titanfall I really really hope...
I though this as well, at first, but the more I think about it the more I realize having crazy fast movement like we see here in Apex would make for a pretty terrible game. Put it this way - battle royale type games are generally very slow-paced, while Titanfall 2 is a fast-paced team shooter. Dying in Titanfall has little impact, as you're able to respawn in less than 3 seconds - as such, it makes sense for the movement to be fast and kill times to be even faster. In Apex, engagements and kill times are much slower which is why it really wouldn't make sense to have the hyper-fast movement from Titanfall. If you did add the Titanfall movement to Apex, it would create a very hostile game environment for everyone but the most experienced Tf players - people already familiar with the movement mechanics would annihilate newer players due to being too fast to aim at, while also having practiced their aim while moving. Since the average player speed would be so much higher, the kill ring in Apex would need to close much faster too to account for this, which would cause even more difficulty for players who aren't as well-versed with the movement mechanics. Making the game environment so punishing to newcomers would inevitably drive players away, and therefore generate less interest in the game. It sounds like a good idea on paper, but in practice it just wouldn't work. Maybe they could have a titanfall-themed gamemode as one of their limited time gamemode they release on occasion - that'd be interesting to play, and still let people play normally if they wanted.
As a player who has been playing the game for over 2 and a half years, putting in more than 5,000 hours and really becoming the best I can be. Becoming a top tier player and really learning everything I can and perfecting my skills. From first learning to slide hop to gaining speed through slide hopping and first learning to grapple slingshotting to being able to do it anywhere, I would like to say this video was amazing and really shows how good the movement system can be once you take the time to learn it, and it’s not super complicated. I believe anyone can do it in no time. You did a great job showing what you can do and starting out slow really compares it to other games and shows how fast you can really go in titanfall 2. It’s really astonishing to see how well this video was made. It’s really creative and I enjoyed every second watching. I really needed a video like this for the game, to really show how good it can be and how much fun you can have just by moving around. :)
Mike Kampmeyer there’s also a good amount of RUclips videos on how to do time once you get good at that then you start to understand how it works and can then implement it anywhere like I can
This makes me emotional, it is amazing to see that others deeply love this game as much as it deserved. This beauty of this game wasnt realized to the mainstream for some time. Such unlimitless potential the universe respawn has made. Titanfall will forever be a genuine classic in a class of its own in my eyes.
God I love how pretty much every map is designed in a way that allows stuff like this to be done, you could swear the dev's knew these kinda stunts would be done.
Started getting into “movement shooters” after playing Apex Legends and can’t believe I missed this game. This vid alone got me to purchase this game in 2020.
This entire video was just mesmerising for me to watch, it took me back through the learnings of a game I don’t think I’ll play again. Although I don’t think I’ll stick around for more, this was an amazing video, keep it up homie.
@Hatwox Wraith is 32 years old, Apex Legends takes place 30 years after Titanfall 2. They already mastered the ability of phase shift. Wraith’s ability was an IMC project.
Once a year i find myself coming back to this video. No words were spoken but everything was said. Its a shame that we dont have third installment of the series yet.
One day, I got three of my friends who're really into Apex to play a couple games with me and a friend of mine in Titanfall. Me and him, modestly speaking, are pretty great at this game (like I'm sure you all are.) One was extremely familiar with Titanfall, and we had met in it, but he always found the Apex gameplay loop more "relaxing", without all these mechanics to understand. He hasn't grown the muscle memory yet, but he still has fun. More so in Titans. The other, she owned Titanfall before, but had an extremely tough time coming back to it after playing so much Apex. All she did was jump while sprinting, and the occasional slide-hop. Which is really all you can do in Apex. She was frustrated from time to time, but since the gunplay was the same, that felt great to her. The third got Titanfall 2 for free when it was a PS plus title in December. She had played Apex first, and now with all this bullshit, was having the time of her goddamn life. And it didn't matter if she sucked, I don't care to remember if she even did. So if you've got friends who are more into Apex than Titanfall in general, don't judge. Titanfall might be a leagues better game and have deeper design, but while I love Titanfall, I'm trash at Apex. In there, they carry me. Which is why I hope that Titanfall 3 caters to both styles of gameplay. And if you're more into Apex and are giving Titanfall a try, just, try to take it slow, king. I believe in you. Apex or Titanfall, we can _all_ be fans of Respawn. 👌
@@Greyimm Easy or simple? Those two things aren't really the same thing. Now, I haven't played Titanfall (yet?), but I don't think you need some hours of practice just to do a simple wall jump/kick like you do in Apex, which in the grand scheme of things is an irrelevant move anyway. And the sad part is that's pretty much the apex (no pun intended) of Apex Legends' movement system. It's simple.
@@LecherousLizard Difficulties lie in timings and staying consistent. The longer you are in a slide, the more momentum you lose. You have to jump the moment you hit the ground, jump too late and you slow down, jump too early and you lose everything. Same things with wallruns, jumping away as soon as you touch the wall gives you the most momentum. You can see in this video how during the bunny hops the gun stays sideways and moves into normal position when touching the ground. In a perfect bunny hop the gun moves minimally or doesn't move at all from the sideways position. Furthermore, when you're bunny hopping you don't hold W but hold A or D instead and slowly move your mouse in that direction, it's kinda like a slalom skiing. And when you reach the wall you have hold down W or you fall off the wall. And you're doing all of that while in a gunfight because the speed keeps you alive. Sliding to a wall and kicking off it is not some irrelevant move in Titanfall, it's a lifesaver and a core aspect of movement. Good Titanfall players have the movement system ingrained in their instincts, where they don't have to think about what they're doing and can consistently time their jumps and keep the bunny hops going while doing all the other stuff. And they already made it easier compared to Titanfall 1. It would be a tragedy if such a system was butchered and replaced with an easier option like Quake Champions did, where they tossed all of this out the window and made it so that you can just hold down space bar and the game automatically bunny hops for you.
@@MrNotBot Wrote an essay, but has problems comprehending two sentences. The first thing that is an eyesore is that you think I said that it's an irrelevant move in Titanfall, even though I specifically said "Apex". Secondly from personal experience I know there's exactly zero need for any kind of strafing to bhop in Apex Legends. Are you saying it's required in Titanfall or Apex? Another thing is that you are saying it's easier compared to Titanfall 1, but unless you specifically mean Titanfall 2, I don't see that being the case, because for something that you claim is essentially a basic move, it's rather hard to time in Apex Legends. How did people get through the tutorial in Titanfall, if a basic move requires some hours of practice at bare minimum?
@@LecherousLizard You're making assumptions based on your apex experience which is not representative of how the movement works in Titanfall. And I'm trying to explain how shit works in Titanfall. You specified that the slide into wall boost move is irrelevant in apex to which I responded that it's invaluable in Titanfall. Perhaps I should have followed it with "unlike Apex" for clarification. And yes, airstrafing is mandatory in Titanfall 2 even if you want to be at least an average player. Movement was harder in Titanfall 1 compared to Titanfall 2, yes, as there wasn't any sliding. Titanfall 2 gives you much more leeway compared to the first game, making it much easier. What you also (understandably) don't understand is that the tutorials in Titanfall, both 1 and 2, suck balls. On top of that new players come into the game with the preconception about how the game is supposed to be played based off mainstream shooters. The game doesn't teach you how to move nor is it required to get through tutorial/campaign. And yet the movement in Titanfall is not a gimmick like it was in that one futuristic CoD of Duty, it's a core component of the game. Bhopping, airstrafing, side jumping, wall boosting, wall turning and jump timings are fundamental techniques that are needed to play properly. But only when you get into multiplayer will you understand the necessity of it. Or you won't and you'll think that the MP is bullshit. Even if you have godlike aim. Players in MP who don't grasp the movement system are extremely obvious to veterans and are free kills. Newbies straight up need to be pointed by veterans towards online guides and demonstrations like this video to understand how the system actually works.
I love how the movement in this game is basically its own mini-game. Its like they threw in CS:GO surfing with some Spider-man shit and let us go nuts. Its really sad that Titanfall 2 didn't do better than it did. Thankfully they were able to re use some of those assets in Apex Legends and find some much deserved success.
This is what we had with Tribes. Hell, even Tribes:Vengeance had the grapple. The primary movement mechanic in Tribes was skiing. Use a downward slope to build speed, find an upward slope and just fly through the map and kill other players. If only the IP didn't get bought by HiRez Studios to get shelved and die.
The phase edit was really creative. This the first video ive seen of yours but i got it immediately. Good job displaying the diversity and also the skill ceiling of movement in this game
I love the slow start, introducing one piece of the puzzle at a time as you slowly put it together was great. I can't get over how precise your slings and slides are no matter how many clips I see.
It’s so cool that the entire titanfall community is just genuine and nice in game and out, no ones rude or toxic and everyone is just so great to each other.
I felt very happy watching this, the moment you put the airstrafe in I knew: oh, now it's getting serious. It was a very neat video and I really like how you showcased the importance of movement in shooters, the fading with the music also gave me goosebumps :p
Ok. Going to buy this game right now. I play quite a bit of destiny 2 and apex legends, but have always felt the movement in both games was lacking something. Especially destiny. They should pay you a finders fee cuz you just sold this game
I grew up in the dawn of the BF and COD war, and I can not for the life of me express how much titanfall finally felt like home when it was released. No words can express how much I cherish being able to look back on my roster of games and have one that I can genuinely say I had some fun. I didn't believe it then, and I don't believe it now. This game should have been the third pioneer
Ngl those first 2 minutes had me gritting my teeth seeing all the slides, wallruns and bhops you just didnt do, made me remember the pure dopamine hit titanfall 2 gives you just from the movement alone
this is what i like the most about movement based shooters, once you get good at it you'll look like a god flying around and crushing people in the sickest way possible, it's hard yet its so rewarding
This is one of the greatest ways to make a game fun and feel amazing; Give the means to the player and dont restrict them. They literally gave the player all the tools they need to create their own path instead of one predetermined by a dev team. It makes it interesting and as you progress and develop your playstyle you learn to create your own style. Real nice!
As an Apex legends player, one thing comes in my mind when I watch Titan fall gameplays: learning Apex movement is the Kindergarten lesson for Titan fall movement
TF3 is on hold for an indefinite amount of time that's why Apex came out it was the content they had so far for TF3 so yea idk what they are going to do with .... nothing I guess. Which makes me sad. But at least TF2 is finally getting the attention it deserves.
@@ralyks2350 Dude, seriously, this kind of thing is getting old. TF3 will come eventually, the game would've probably gotten no attention and likely would've made Respawn completely bankrupt if they attempted it. Apex Legends has brought the Titanfall games more attention which means a greater likelihood for a successful sequel. TF isn't coming back yet because it can't, but it will.
What I love about this is it's not only a love letter but also kinda a tutorial of sorts. You slowly show bits and pieces of the movement system and then start showing the creativity that can come with it. Everything you've done here is doable, you just have to have the right mindset and creativity to try it out. TitanFall 2 is a game I wish i stuck with as I look back at all of the cool things RESPAWN came up with. It truly was ahead of it's time.
Hey, I'm a "veteran" from Team Fortress 2 (1k hours which is really not much compared to other peoples). For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a FPS launched in 2007 which survives to this day. It's also one of the best mouvement based shooter I have ever seen, jsut type "zero to hero sfm" if you want a sample of what I mean. I love Team Fortress 2 to my heart, but I gor bored of the game (after 5 years still), I moved on to other FPS, but I never found another game which truly gave me that feeling that you could do anything if you were skilled enough with the movements. That was until I found out about Titanfall 2. When I saw you use the grav star to gain momentum I just smiled. When you air-strafted after ejecting from the Titan I got a little emotionnal. THIS. This is the rype of design that made me fall in love with Team Fortress 2 in the first place. The fact that there are an endless amount of tricks you can use to move around, the fact that all of them are actual technics that you need to master before using them, but have a massive advantage once you do. THIS is the true strenght of movement base FPS. That thing which gives the game an infinit amount of depht. Even countering movement has some of it! Example: It's good to be able to snipe anyone on the map, but can you snipe them if they use movements you have never seen before? With unpredictable trajectories? Not at first, but with enough practice you can guess where they go and get them! So, as the "relativly" old player I am, I can say what you all got there is a gem of a game. A thing that I thought didn't exist anymore. Don't be sad that it isn't the center of attention, I assure you it will outlast Overwatch, Rainbow 6, Cyberpunk and all the AAA games.
I wish that in Apex Legends Jack Cooper was a Legend with the passive to move like a pilot, cloak like in the campaign but for his ult lets be honest they aren't adding a titan to Apex They will add the dreaded Smart Pisto-**Snap**
@@ed61730 Nah, you have the full movement capabilities. You get it in your secondary slot when you pop the ult and works like a normal gun, expect that it aims for you. But the weapon is kinda weak, people were always complaining about it because they were too lazy or stupid to learn how to play around it.
Ooohhhhhh. Buttery smooth. I was just reminiscing about Titanfall 1 while at work today, haven't seen any content related to Titanfall in years. This pops onto my feed. Somehow RUclips can read minds now I guess, but all the nostalgia. I should reinstall this game. You're beautiful.
There is a Cooper legend coming out, according to files, his passive will be double jump, his tac will be able to wall run for like 10 seconds, and his ult will be the stim from Titanfall2, and it charges fast
@@Mokey the thing is that in apex its a blood games, jump kits are onlu used in wars, like in titanfall 2. Thats why there is no titans in apex caus eits a game. However i would be super happy if they make a legend that can wall run and double jump
I know this is 2 years old now, but this is genius. In the beginning I was thinking "...why in the heck would you START a video with the words 'just wait for it' ?" It quickly became apparent, without the need of any words. You beautifully showcased the games movement with progressively more difficult playstyles - was a true joy to watch and makes me wish i got into Titanfall, made it looks effortless Silence can speak louder than words
god just imagine if Apex had this level of movement. it would be insanity. in one hand i wish it did, in the other i think it would turn it into a totally different game
@Rafe Scaggs idk if it would be "better" per se, but it would certainly change things up. I think if they had the same movement as Titanfall, it would make it a "Titanfall battle royale" instead of a battle royale 'loosely' based on Titan Fall. Perhaps if they had a "Titanfall pilot" limited time mode, that would make sense.
apex only lacks the double jump and wall running. I do admit that while that has a huge impact, the movement in apex is what sets it apart from other battle royales, and that movement stems from titanfall. The way both games are played is so similar, especially since they have the same guns, but both execute the gameplay very differently. The weapon customization is completely different, there's no armor or healing items in titanfall, the sprinting isn't as fast, the map is different. But by taking the basic concepts of one game, respawn created a game that is not the same, but shares lots of things with the original. Taking things like octane's stim and pathfinder's grapple out of titanfall and incorporating it into a very unique and different map, which is not designed for wall running or double jumping, but more for large areas of combat, is a very difficult thing to do, but in my opinion, respawn did it perfectly.
@Rafe Scaggs I don't think that this movement would work in BR game - dying to a guy flying towards you from other side of the map with super sonic speed would not be very rewarding :)
That really makes me back to the old days of Titanfall 2 where pretty much everyone knew how to move like that and it was amazing pilots in the air and titans on the ground but now all the new players just play it like it's call of duty
This one video shows you that you're only limited to what you think you can do, every push you can be better and better. Just goes to show how much we take for granted with movement in any video game. Thank you Mokey for your awesome and creative video
I keep having this dream, of a village or town ravaged by war. Bombs blowing buildings to rubble, tanks holding down objectives, aircraft locked into voracious dogfights, and Titans holding the line. Can you imagine what it'd be like to have like a Battlefield x Titanfall?
I come back to this video every couple months and it always hits the same, titan fall 2 will forever be in my eyes the best game ever made and this video shows perfectly one of the many reasons why, as soon as that music hits it always gets me to tear up a bit.
If TF2 was a person they'd be running out of breath crying just from how thankful they are to be appreciated this way. The way you made the whole thing. Peak humanity.
When it started and he walked I was thinking "ok there aren't any 'Clear Walls' so that makes sense"...but then he walked around. I almost had an aneurysm

God that first bit where its just walking was too painful to watch. Like every part of me was screaming, "THERES A WALL USE IT". but it really does drive the point home of how distinct the movement is

There should be a legend that has this type of movement but for his ultimate or whatever that’d be so freaking OP though lol
"...A pilot sees the world differently. Sheer walls become flanking routes..."
That was the exact quote that made me realize what I had to do to be successful in multiplayer. When I first got the game I treated it like CoD and got gunned down immediately by pilots whizzing over my head, then I played the campaign and saw that cutscene, and it clicked.
That sentence should be corrected. Even a sheer metal pole can be a flanking route.

Yh
All those 5 people who ever saw it in the game of all those 3 people who actually use it.

@@yvesgingras1475 Oh, dont worry. Titanfall 3 is confirmed buddy. Unless you are talking about its audience. Then maybe.
@@justanidiotwithcars I was like: wtf does this guy want with Team Fortress now
One day, I got three of my friends who're really into Apex to play a couple games with me and a friend of mine in Titanfall. Me and him, modestly speaking, are pretty great at this game (like I'm sure you all are.)
One was extremely familiar with Titanfall, and we had met in it, but he always found the Apex gameplay loop more "relaxing", without all these mechanics to understand.
If Titanfall 3 compromises it's movement to appeal to Apex Legends fans who want an easy movement system, I will turn into a fucking ostrich
Normal players: it's hard for me to do it good
Mokeysniper: it's hard for me to make it easier

I love how the movement in this game is basically its own mini-game. Its like they threw in CS:GO surfing with some Spider-man shit and let us go nuts. Its really sad that Titanfall 2 didn't do better than it did. Thankfully they were able to re use some of those assets in Apex Legends and find some much deserved success.
timtam92 I literally searched for the CS:GO surf comment dude ^^ it is crazy how similar it looks
EA tanked it on purpose so they could buy off respawn and milk it raw.
@@sentry4944 for real, tribes was the best, can't believe they shafted it and put their resources into a Moba that no one plays

not me rewatching this video every year or so to remember how good of a game titanfall is
The phase edit was really creative.
This makes me want to get titanfall

overall satisfying and great to watch
One of the most underrated games. This should’ve been Respawns mainly focused game😪❤️❤️ They should forget about apex and start working on a third imo

Real nice!

As an Apex legends player, one thing comes in my mind when I watch Titan fall gameplays: learning Apex movement is the Kindergarten lesson for Titan fall movement
the first time seeing this type of movement in a video game was so cool to me

@@ralyks2350 Dude, seriously, this kind of thing is getting old. TF3 will come eventually, the game would've probably gotten no attention and likely would've made Respawn completely bankrupt if they attempted it.
Talking about tf2 on a tf2 video, I love the irony
tf2 is a really good game. but i think tf2 is better than tf2
“Hey guys, Desinc here.”
nearly brought tears to my eyes when i came to realize we most likely will never see a FPS like titanfall 2 again.
Source movement is the one thing I miss in my life.
I wish that in Apex Legends Jack Cooper was a Legend with the passive to move like a pilot, cloak like in the campaign but for his ult lets be honest they aren't adding a titan to Apex
They will add the dreaded Smart Pisto-**Snap**
I love your idea, and your pfp
Just finished the campaign today, and tbh that smart pistol is the best and most satisfying gun i ever used in a video games. Also, it is too op
@@shuysnoopy Yeah but people hate it when you use it in multiplayer.
I imagine the smart pistol would work like the overwatch ult. You will move very slowly (no turning) while the gun scans for players.
I wish if Apex gets a ltm where u can double jump and wall run, to make it more lore wise the legends are In a simolation just like war games
Black beast or a legend that can do that
@@N1c0_792 much rather would have a Legend that can do that. Or at least one of them.

@@rezinyt4879 I've seen that stuff. It's just click bait. Cooper would be 50-60 years old at this point. He wouldn't be a pilot

the thing is that in apex its a blood games, jump kits are onlu used in wars, like in titanfall 2. Thats why there is no titans in apex caus eits a game. However i would be super happy if they make a legend that can wall run and double jump
I have been here since u had less then 2k. I can say that these are so inspiring and well made. Keep up the great work!

I know this is 2 years old now, but this is genius. In the beginning I was thinking "...why in the heck would you START a video with the words 'just wait for it' ?"
It quickly became apparent, without the need of any words. You beautifully showcased the games movement with progressively more difficult playstyles - was a true joy to watch and makes me wish i got into Titanfall, made it looks effortless
Silence can speak louder than words
god just imagine if Apex had this level of movement. it would be insanity. in one hand i wish it did, in the other i think it would turn it into a totally different game
They should just make it a limited time mode
The maps in Apex aren't even designed for this kind of movement.
In those 5 minutes and 51 seconds you have brought me joy, thank you.
That really makes me back to the old days of Titanfall 2 where pretty much everyone knew how to move like that and it was amazing pilots in the air and titans on the ground but now all the new players just play it like it's call of duty
