um. it was a joke. the entire speech was made of the kind of backhanded compliments she received throughout her career for not being cookie cutter 'beautiful' .

William Hurt was an amazing actor. I've seen movies of his that interested me. I'm glad he won an academy award. He was one of best actors in the 80's and 90's. My two favs were The Big Chill & Children of a Lesser God. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for both films. Never Gets Old. Thank you for your talent in films. R.I. P. William Hurt 😔😢😢❤️

I went to college with William Hurt’s son Alex Hurt, who is himself an actor and a darn good one! Mr. Hurt was world class - won an Oscar for Kiss of the Spider Woman and was nominated 3 other times. Wow!
