Everyone looking for the part number. Please contact Cummins with your engine serial number and ask for fuel damper resealing kits for both dampers on the fuel control module. Due to differences in serial numbers I do not give out the part number. Possibility of Cummins using different numbers happens all the time.
I just resolve this problem today. What l did l called to Cummins part information & the good person by phone sent me a copy of diagram of the cummins fuel system at that moment by E.mail while we were talking and he tell me at the picture he sent me what was the part where was the leak and l was telling him by the numbers at the picture and he tell me that l was needing to get the o rings and gaskets only and replace them to stop the leak but thats not the problem the problem comes with the mechanic because the kit of gaskets is only 38 dollars but the mechanic charge me for labor 500 dollars. Because is a lot of work to do. Is the fist time l see those little parts. Behind the fuel system.
Is there a trick putting the control module back on the block with the gear or just simply work it gently back in? Any special or specific alignment? Thanks. Have done alot of work on my cm870 thanks to you...greatly appreciated!
Can only make videos of what breaks down. Haven't had any of those for a while. I unfortunately can't just take somebody's apart just to make a video 😕
Bingo! At the back of the fuel module lays those 2 little really, really hot tubes that always block up and completely destroys everything Cummins worked for and completely destroys their name and respect. 😁
@@mlhrepairsllc6942 the 850 was a while back mow we are at cm2350 with 4 different variations ,well the Cummins engine is far better than the paccar engine ,just the fuel filter service on a paccar is just a cluster something simple now can cost you your fuel system if you get it wrong Just pay the difference and get the Cummins engine

I had oil leak in same place, replaced O rings on both, had long start, followed by black exhaust smoke.... . Any guess why will be wrong?????

Without being able to diagnose it, I couldn't say 100 percent
Other then noticing the fuel leak what problems were the truck giving before you changed seals
Just leaking as far as the customer stated

I got a question, while I was Cummins buying the seals this guy told me that they can get welded to not leak fuel anymore, is that true?
