After I showed the police the paperwork from the bank and proving I was current they charged the repo company with grand theft auto and they turned around and sued me for causing their driver to be arrested. That caused me to dish out an additional 20k of money and that was my all of my savings at the time. Their case was dropped and mine was allowed to go ahead. Then I got my car back the windows was broken out and the seats were slashed. They told the police I did it when they were trying to tow the car. My ring cameras showed differently and again additional charges to lying to police and felony vandalism was bought against them. The company ended up going out of business and had to pay me 150k. So he will owe on the damages. He just fuck himself completely
that's cool @@themaritimegirl
I'm surprised they let him go. They could have easily charged him with resisting the way he fought with the cops.
@@AdirondackHomesteadYou're too dumb to know the laws they in fact did and arrest him they said he was under arrest on video you saying that he was never arrested and they could not charged him with resisting is bullshit they could have easily charged him with resisting.
It's a civil issue, they can't arrest him over this. He was detained because of the way he acted
@@AdirondackHomesteadplease don't call people dumb. Ignorance isn't being dumb. You've now educated the man you don't have to abuse him. He hasn't done that to you. Go sit in the corner and think about what you have done.

@nickflopper 😂😂🤣
This shows how durable those Pontiac Vibes & Toyota Matrix's were. My mom had an 07 Matrix and says she wishes she'd have kept it with the problems these new POS have. Scotty Kilmer's wife still drives one and he says they are the most reliable cars money can buy. Not many would take that much abuse. Plus you know its probably a high mileage car.
this pontiac is toyota
I own a 09 Pontiac vibe with 147k miles. It’s a tank.
Massive respect to you guys that have a very difficult and dangerous job to do. They don’t pay the finance companies and you’re just doing your job and get threatened for it .
I’m not sure if I’m right or wrong but I’ve always been told that repo people are not allowed to breach the piece. This person was already in the car when the tow truck pulled up and the driver started arguing with the driver. Once the tow driver realized that this person was going to be a problem he lifted the car preventing the person from being able to safely exit the vehicle. So could this guy potentially sue the tow truck company?
💯💯
You are exactly right. It is a breach of peace. This would be in the civil court but would be a very large lawsuit. Kidnapping and breach of peace.
In my state 100%
why would they cut him loose? he needs time behind bars for Destruction of property. Best way to get "On your feet" is don't make your payments..
Turning him loose doesn't mean he won't get charged with anything. I don't know the laws for property damage during a repo, but I bet it was a crime or he is at least responsible for the damage.
I like your quiet demeanor. No need to go in like gangbusters when you're in the right! Seriously dangerous job!
11:08 *_"Take it easy, brother..."_*
If ever there was someone that really needed to take their own advice...
Exactly! LMAO
Some people really act like children when they’re getting their car towed😂
Not his car until he pays it off
I’m conflicted. Yes he destroyed property that wasn’t his. We all know that. This is also a man living out of his car, almost certainly dealing with addiction and/or mental illness.
The guys hard life just got a lot harder homeless. Let’s try to have compassion.
well i see you point, and i do generally agree, i would also add that if this is the way he acts, he shouldn't be driving anything anywhere. go be mentally unstable on a bike.
If he’s dealing with drugs or mental illness or even both at the same time, would you like to see him driving around in your neighborhood? Sleeping in his car near your neighborhood? If he can drive around, know to put gas in his car, know the car needs to be maintained, then he should know to make payments. No money, no payments, it’s not his to keep. There’s many shelters to go to especially in the winter. At least he’ll be warm and safe and maybe get free meals. Unfortunately, when someone lives in their car, they usually aren’t working and maybe there’s no car payments if it’s a used car but we all know we have to have to make payments on other things to own a car. Too many people already drive around with no drivers license and no insurance and get away with it. Owning a car is exhausting. Lol
@@JMarieCAloveIf your going to assume that about the driver then I'm going to assume you can't keep your legs closed. See how it works both ways? 🤣🤣
Illness doesn’t give him the right to destroy a car he doesn’t own. Stop enabling criminals!
*THIS COMMENT SECTION* sums up how modern America seems to outsiders - a 'Christian' nation full of people with a Darwinian, empathy-free outlook. No thought of what misfortunes might have led this man to where he is. A disease that the US medical system has cost him his life savings to treat? The loss of a loved one that led to a mental health spiral? An unlucky sequence of events that took him from middle class to homeless through sheer bad luck? A criminal justice system that makes it hard for him to get ahead after doing his time?
10:57 - "I wanna get my phone!"
He literally sounded like a 7-year old who knows he's in trouble with his parents but sulks and tries to get his way one last time.
Most likely some sort of flip phone 😅
This is ridiculous- I've been here before. I could tell the repo guys were really nervous about having us outside with them taking our car - but we understood that we were behind on the payments. WE did that. This guy was having the biggest tantrum ever over nothing.
I really wished he’d have reacted better. I had planning on helping get a place to stay, and get the car back, but he ruined that real quick.
Objectively a Pontiac Vibe isn't a lot. It has a much higher subjective value to the guy that's living in it. I'm not saying that he should have done what he did, but I understand.
Your pulling at my heart strings with this one, my all time favorite repo video and I have a few of my own but this this is gold
This was definitely a wild one lol makes any other interaction with a debtor I’ve ever had seem like nothing lol
That dude was red lining it like Zip Ties & Bias Plies, but forgot to use brake cleaner. I hope gets charged with disorderly conduct & reckless driving, happy to see you got back to your yard safely.
Frightening to see again that people this ignorant and violent are living among us.
What you're seeing is a man at the end of his rope. It can happen to anyone, including you.
If he can't have his car no ones going to have it😅
or just buy a car you can actually afford.@@ostrich67
Don't leave out STUPID
Well, anyone taking out a loan for a car is pretty ignorant, and that's a lot of people.
That tire that blew was the most valuable thing on that 2000 Pontiac
The Toyota engine and transmission alone on marketplace are (were) probably enough on their own to satisfy the loan on the whole car. Those 1zz motors are pretty sought after by 00 to 02 MR2 owners and Celica drivers with blown engines.
Angleton PD is definitely one Department I have a huge respect for because they take things seriously when things hit the fan. Glad you were safe during that because the guy completely lost it.
I’m grateful they got there in a timely manner.
@@Towtruck_Dustin definitely & they made sure that you were safe too
They are definitely better than any PD in California. A lot of other places too.
@@Jonathan.D I will say that Brazoria County has a lot of really great officers in all the different agencies across the county. I’ve had the pleasure to work with a lot of them at my old job and they are all really supportive of the tow truck drivers as well as other first responders.
@charitywooten2135 It's a comfort to know that your local law enforcement has your back.
The truth is that most officers want to act similarly. It's the elected officials that keep them from serving the people.
The car looks like it’s worth about $1,000. how much could he possibly owe? 😂
Never step foot on a buy here pay here, probably 700 down and 100 a week for 84 months.
@@namemcnamerton4249 "we can make the payments work, what's your preferred monthly payment?"
