Jon, as a new white belt I am absolutely loving this channel. The reason is that you bring realism to everything you teach. Other channels will simply say, "this is technique X," whereas you give examples of what the opponent will do to counter it, and adjustments you will have to make to get it to work. It makes so much more sense, as now I realize where I went wrong in executing a technique and how I can get it to work next time. Great teachers are hard to come by, so please keep it up!

Excellent. I need to isolate the specific guards more to train how to pass them. I sometimes let guys get into their guards during regular sparring to train passing them.

Awesome video as usual, Jon. If you get the time, a video on maintaining side control and defeating your opponents frames would be great.

Hi Jon, greetings from Munich Germany. I have already learned a lot from your great videos. I have wondered if you could make a video on how to pass a sitting opponent. I find them the hardest to pass as it is very difficult to get a grip advantage on them. There are also not a lot of good videos on that topic. Could you enlighten us with a video ? Would be awesome!

Question - (sorry if this is not the place)
what are some good tips for interchangeably passing left to right. Similar to how nicholas meregali was able to do in ADCC.
