      A origem do Jiu Jitsu nasceu dos monges budistas da India mas a forma moderna vem do Japao que foi ensinado aos Gracie e depois adptado por eles com novas tecnicas, é como uma pessoa comprar uma casa ja pronta fazer uma reforma colocar janelas novas botar portas novas ,pintar e construir um galinheiro e depois dizer que foi ele que construiu a casa.Espero ter ajudado um abraço !

      @@CUNDUNDO não sei quem construiu a casa, mais dá pra ver que a reforma deixou ela bem melhor que a original. Aproveitando metáfora, pelo jeito os pedreiros Brasileiros são melhores que os japoneses.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge! By far the some of the best pass detail ive seen! I would love to see you put out more of these kinds of details specifically on the standing pass! There doesnt seem to be much instruction out on this particular style of passing!

    Love this. Almost every time I roll with a black belt they start in this position.
    This should delay the first sweep by 10 seconds at least :)

    Self Notes:
    - angling him to the side - makes his frame weaker
    - staying farther to avoid him getting collar grips
    - not letting him use your body as leverage points for his feet; do the leg drag
    - when passing, pressure down on his legs so that they do not become an annoyance

    What's the variant if opponent is still in seated guard?

      Reach down to his ankles and lift to put him on his back or, failing that, push his head to flatten him out. Or use another passing method if that doesn’t work. Not every tool is suited for every job.
