i'm a little late but sara, destiny, and haley are literally the reason why i LOVE reading now. i used to HATE reading with all my heart and would only read if i had to for school. and even then, i would skip through chapters! anyways, i just wanna thank sara because the first thing i do in the morning is read, and before i go to bed i read, and if i have free time i read!
tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow was one of my first six star reads that i constantly think about, i loved it sm!

Your five stars are so good! Like 'The Inheritance Games' books are some of my ALL TIME FAVORITES. I was super nervous to start into them because of the hype but honestly I would give a piece of my soul to read those books for the first time again.
You have to read Legendborn & Bloodmarked!!!! Based off these, you’ll absolutely fall in love with the characters & the plot 🤍

I am currently reading the shatter me series and I am obsessed! Definitely a 5 star series for me as well! I actually binged thru Ignite Me in literally 3 hours this morning. I plan on reading all of Tahereh Mafi's other books because I love her literary style and the metaphorical prose that is so poetic and give so many feels ❤

I’ve never heard anyone explain the “mindf*ck series” that way. (Huge Criminal Minds Fan) So I just started reading the first book because this video! Especially because of your suggestion to read each book individually. It feels like you’re reading faster and you feel more accomplished after each one. ❤

Love this! Some absolute faves I recommend:
-The Other Side by Kim Holden (my 1st 6 star read this year. SO important, also heavy - deals with a very depressed teenager, & how the perspective of others in his apartment building he's helping with their troubles brings him to the light. It gave me new outlooks on many hard topics.)
-Making Faces & The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon (small town & profound, unique)
-Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher (heavy character story with a thriller plot, romantic but not a category romance imo)
-Marrow by Tarryn Fisher (has a cameo from MV, dark thriller w/ morally grey & unreliable narrator, avoid spoilers!)
-The Butterfly Project - Emma Scott (sweet emotional romance w/ characters who learn self-forgiveness, cozy winter NYC vibes)
-Sara Shepard's YA mysteries

Omg if you want deeper romances that are so underrated I highly suggest…. “Ecstasy” by K.V. Rose it’s bit darker and has like a Euphoria feel. “No tomorrow” by Carian Cole more on sad emotional side, and “Love Kills” trilogy by Brianna Jean has deeper subjects and so much found family. I genuinely think you can fall in love with these books since you love Darling Venom, Mindf*ck and Magnolia Parks. They are all so good and different! Unlike anything I’ve ever read before.

based on these i think you would absolutely love the lunar chronicles by marissa meyer. it’s fairytale retellings but like sci-fi, which i didn’t think i would like but i LOVED. its so easy to read and the characters are incredible. it has found family and such an addicting story and everything and the ROMANCE oh my lord. especially the 3rd and 4th books it’s just so good.

sara's reading taste is literally ME. like agggtm, magnolia parks (i rated DH1 less too), mind f series, daisy jones love and other words, six of crows series (literally same experience like it was slow but loved it after and crooked kingdom>>), the inheritance games series (THE HAWTHORNE LEGACY!!) and beach read AHHH. literally the only books which i loved and she didnt is cruel prince and from lukov with love but still thats crazy that we have such similar taste. im sure when i read once upon a broken heart ill love it as well

agreed a million percent with keep going with the addicted series. i didn’t love the first book either but after ricochet it really felt like homey. i have two books left (long way down + some kind of perfect) and i do not want to finish cause i’m gonna feel so empty and sad. yes i know there’s the willow and garrison duo and also the like us series but nothing will top addicted/calloway series for me

i recommend book lovers (trust lauren and I, its SO good like the main couple gives me how to lose a guy in 10 days vibes and the main girl is SO carrie soto coded!!) and the naturals series (perf mix of criminal minds and inheritance games, a less graphic mind f series kinda as well)

Some of my 5 stars are The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea, Book Lovers, The House in the Cerulean Sea, and The Sky is Everywhere. I highly recommend them 😊 it’s so hard for me to find a 5 star now too because I’ve read so much.

Based on your 5 star reads I think you will love The Princess Will Save You by Sarah Henning its a fantasy book with childhood friends to lovers romance, political turmoil occurs and Princess Amarande has to save her true love Luka from a rival kingdom, it is soo good fast paced and intriguing. I love this book so much and i gave it 5 stars and I absolutely love the characters in this book especially Luka and Amarande
I don’t like the romance genre because of its predictable plots but I love love Lucy score’s writing.. That woman knows how to write
I recently read Yellowface.. it’s a 5 star read for me, I highly recommend!

The Spearcrest series by Aurora Reed will forever be a five-star read in my heart! Every book follows one of the guys in the main friend group and their complicated love interest (set in a boarding school) and it's beyond entertaining. The most recent one is Spearcrest Saints and it's an academic rivals-to-lovers/forbidden romance and it's just filled with the prettiest words. 🩵
Okay, I have to recommend the Fortuna Sworn series by K.J. Sutton. It's fantasy romance, but it's SO much more than that. The found family and friendships are the best things about the books and it's just a world I want to inhabit forever. The first book is very good (a 4-star for me) but it just gets better from there. I finished the 4th book last month and it was like 700 pages long and I NEVER wanted it to end. The 5th one comes out later this year, I think there are going to be 6 total.

Under the whispering door by tj klune is a 5 star read! I'm actually re-reading it and love it just as much as I did the first time, highly recommend!!
