The Book Thief is THE book that got me back into reading. it’s so beautifully written, and narrated by Death which makes it SO much more interesting and adds an extra layer to the whole thing. love love love.
@@natsbigfall sameee I have around 26 books on my physical tbr and i always get stressed at the end of the year because i want to make sure i have room for new releases (i limit my tbr to 35 so it doesn't overflow)
girl how are you not overwhelmed by all these books😭 i would get rid of a lot of those that you seemingly have no interest in and if for some reason in the future you want to read them you can just buy them again or get them on kindle! i would love to see an un haul video
The Book Thief should definitely be higher up, that book literally made me question the meaning of life and appreciating every single little detail, and it's written so beautifully and the pov was so interesting
Your 187 unread books give me a magical comfort now 😄 I too have many waiting at my tbr and still buying books 📚 And, Sara you're looking lovely as always ❤
I just enjoy so much watching these tbr videos. Love when people freak out about having 190+ books on their tbr. helps to know that I am not the only one suffering with 200 unread books on my shelf
I love how everyone been doing this video recently, it’s one of my favourite types of videos (I used to keep rewatching Haley’s but now I have so many more to watch haha)
Omggg!! Maze runner is such a iconic series!! When your ready you should definitely try!!! And if you do enjoy the books then the movies are AMAZINGGG, my absolute favourites :))
I typically dont like high fantasy, nor do I enjoy fantasy without some form of romance! The witcher is the ONLY exception!!! The found family and the plot twists and the iconic badass characters in this series is so WORTH it. There is a bit of romance between Geralt and Yennefer, as they are mother and father to their adoptive daughter Ciri.
Sara... ZODIAC ACADEMY!! (Please when you are ready bestie) Its my favorite fantasy series. The books are all KU to so you can read them so much faster. It gives adult version of the Shatter Me series. Would be so good for fall!
I'm a seasonal mood reader too, but I'm always reading the upcoming season. So here in summer it's fall and spooky. Once fall hits I'll read winter/cozy...etc lol it helps me feel like I have something to look forward to 😂
Definitely read The Last Mrs Parrish! The reason it’s so similar to The Housemaid is because Fredia McFadden copies other authors books and passes them off as her own, she did the same with The Wife Upstairs which is almost identical to Verity
That Summer Feeling is a cute summer-camp-for-adults love story and it was an easy read that made me smile and I would def recommend adding it to the summer book stack!!
You should do a reading video where you put your physical tbr in a wheel and read the ones it pick. It’ll help you get through some of the older books. Love your videos. ❤
The kids quotient is really good! It’s a fun romance! Would be a good summer read honestly. I don’t remember if it’s set in the summer but I know I liked it a lot!
Mine Would Be You is so worth it. It’s really amazing, and it focuses on healing and that man is a golden retriever who allows her to be her. She wants to take things slow, and he just want to be in her company. ❤
you should do a video where you go on good reads and read the first books you put on your tbr to get some off your old physical tbr that you’ve had for too long
I can totally relate to why I buy so many books and I still haven't read any of the ones that are still on my TBR list! 😂 Holy cow, Sara, that's a LOT of books!!!
Things we know by heart has been one of my favorite books since I read it in middle school for the first time!! I loved it soso much you should def read it!😊❤️
Maybe you could do a video of reading books that were turned into movies? Or finishing series you've started? Love your videos Sara, I adore you so much! 💗
I just counted my own books and got 122. Watching this made me feel better. LOL. Love you Sara, you make me want to start my own book channel. I have no one in my life to talk about the books read with
I'm someone who doesn't read any romance at all, definitely not my genre, but I absolutely ATE UP The Flatshare. Idk why, it was so easy to read and just so refreshing.
I absolutely second that, I only read queer romances and really don't gravitate to romance in general but it was so cute and I didn't just love the main characters but was also so invested in the side characters and how their story would turn out 🫶
If We Were Villains is my all time favourite! Perfect fall/ winter book. The Book Thief and A Thousand Splendid Suns are also so so good. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them ❤️❤️❤️
I'll give you the sun is my favorite book since I read it in 2016 for the first time, it's just really unique for a ya in my opinion, you have Noah's Pov when both of them are 13 and Jude's when they are 16 and apart from their relationship and things they go through the background story why they aren't talking anymore was so incredibly good and it's one of those books that makes me sob every time I reread it x'D
Holding up the universe was my favourite book for soooo long! Super reflexive with a realistic romance relationship. I'll always recommend this book, mostly to young adults, new adults
The Book Thief is literally my favorite book ever!!! It was the book that got me out of a year long reading slump. It's a beautiful story with amazing characters and I honestly think that everyone should read it.
I don't think I'll ever stop raving about fourth wing !! But also Runaway Love (I think small town romance with a grumpy x sunshine trope that's super cute) and Dating Dr. Dil are great rom-com-like palate cleansers and just super fast reads that I think you'll enjoy!
Ok here me out. Idk if anyone’s done this already but you should do a video of “reading books that have been on my physical tbr the longest” cute little way to finally get them read, right? :)) Love you 🫶🏽
The fact that it's July and I want the fall season now so I can fully immerse myself into the world of sci-fi/fantasy books Anxious People by Frederick Backman is one of my all time favorite books. I definitely recommend going into it blind and reading it in the winter
Everything Everything was the only book I truly loved when I was around 16, brings back so many memories and I’m adding to cart again so I can re read🥰
Holding up the Universe is really one of the most beautiful romance books ive ever read. It is tender and deep and i LOVED IT , also blazed through it in one day because it was that good.
I read that one when I was like 12 and I remember liking it. However, I don't think I was at the age where I could appreciate it. Is it really that good? Should I read it again?
oh 100% ! I read it when i was 17. I think you would have a whole new appreciation for it being older! I think it's difficult to grasp the gravity of love and romance when you're younger! If you do read it, maybe you can come back to this comment and update me LOL @@squidwardtentacles7144
i’ll give you the sun is *so* good! i’m pretty sure it takes place in summer (or just has major summer vibes b/c it’s set in northern california). it takes place during two timelines and is just fun & heartbreaking :)
house of salt and sorrows is a gothic horror 12 dancing princesses retelling! it was spooky and gave me nightmares for 2 weeks but it’s so good! i recommend saving it for fall or winter tho :)
My shelves are less tidy and are overflowing with unread books, also because I mood read. Can't wait for when you read Gus! Also Kim Holden's standalone, The Other Side, is a new all-time fave. It deals with depression, addiction, hope, etc. It made me look at mental health differently. The author's notes even made me cry. She's an inspirational human.
Omg If We Were Villains, The Secret History, and The Book Thief are all such amazing books that should be considered modern classics. Please, please read them!
A few things! Okay so first and foremost, 1000% read tomorrow x3!!! I’ve never read general fiction and even though the premise did sound interesting to me, I don’t think I ever would have picked it up without haley talking about it when she read it. I was scared I wouldn’t enjoy it but genuinely it blew me away. Just the way the author constructs her words and sentences and story tells honestly left me jaw dropped as I was reading it because I had never experienced the emotions I felt reading it with any other book solely based on the writing style. I rated it 5 stars when I was only a couple chapters in and my love for it grew more and more. Also for what it’s worth it’s probably one of the only books I’ve read where I haven’t been focussed on how much progress I was making. I just enjoyed it. I’m not sure if you read any of the mortal instruments series but I definitely need to get back into it (I only got to about 2/3rds of the way through the third one but i just normally struggle with series). I read city of bones within 2 days though. I mainly got the TMI series because I was watching the show (I love that show so much don’t even get me started). I’d definitely be interested to see you read all the series cassandra clare has written cause she has published so much since the show came out that I don’t even know what the timeline is anymore. Lastly, I read the American roommate experiment a couple months ago and I thought it was really cute! I hadn’t read the spanish love deception and I didn’t even know they were linked but I loved the way a lot of their dialogue and moments were written. I’ve read romcoms that I thought were written better and this one was definitely very YA but I think I still rated it 4 stars because it was super enjoyable. I’d say it’s a good rec if you want a fast paced read because there’s nothing complicated about the way it’s written and the story itself is pretty fast paced.
SARA YOU NEED TO READ A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS !! I am telling you that book is so so good. In the way that it's so entertaining but also it is such a learning experience. I swear it is worth the time.
Instead of THE LAST MRS. PARISH, you should read THE WIFE STALKER. It's my favorite Liv Constantine book, and you're right about Mrs. Parish being super similar to THE HOUSEMAID (though I think Mrs. Parish was published first).
We get two Sara videos in a row?? We truly are getting fed well 💜
The Book Thief is THE book that got me back into reading. it’s so beautifully written, and narrated by Death which makes it SO much more interesting and adds an extra layer to the whole thing. love love love.

The invisible life of Addie Larue is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Please read it in a video soon
This week has been amazing!! Sara and Destiny have been posting!!

The Dead Romantics would be a great fall time romcom. I absolutely loved it!
The Kiss Quotient is so so good! I loved the representation in it and it was such a refreshing and fun read!
Me too. It was one of the books I read when I first started reading romance and got hooked ever since. ❤
