You should let your subscribers pick 1 or 2 books a month off your physical tbr, that you HAVE to read aside from any themed reading you have planned. Could call it “the subscribers pick of the month” or something 😂

Something that has really helped me is just only reading on my kindle via Libby and then if I loved the book I will buy it and that has kept my physical tbr so much smaller!
you should do a monthly “reading x genre for a week” so u can fixate on cutting down a specific genre in ur tbr!! I would love to see u do this with lit fic and romances (with treacherous specifically lmao)

The Eragon series is SO GOOD! It has dragons and magic. It is such a beautifully written world and I would highly recommend you read it.

I'm at 355 physical books. But my accumulation of books has really slowed down now that I- A: know my tastes better, B: know my buying habits better (and can prevent them), and C: have caught wind of all the books that I missed out on during those years I didn't read. So now I have a system that I wrapped up into a pretty little game called BookAggro, and I'm using 2024 to really lean hard into making my TBR go down. With that said, I hope BOTH OF US find great success in 2024!!!

I absolutely cannot wait for you to read Heavenly Bodies and to hear what you think! I have read both of the books in the series (3rd is coming out soon!) I will say, you can tell it’s a debut novel, but I just love it all the same! I don’t think I’ve ever read a world system like it in fantasy, and the slow burn romance is phenomenal! The story line has been keeping me on the edge of my toes and I am dying for the next book in the series to come out! So glad you have it on your tbr, it needs the hype!

I read Eragon and the rest of the series when I was 11. I really enjoyed it when I was younger. Intend to reread it this year
The Realm Breaker books are so good! Some chapters can drag on but I really recommend them. + the third (and maybe final) book is coming out late February (it has a really unique plot {imo} and the romance is a REALLY slow burn romance {we get just a time sliver but I’m hoping it’ll be more explored in the third book, but it’s really sweet so far} plus it has a lot of different povs)
But I also really loved the Red Queen series (although I’ve heard a lot of people say otherwise) so I’d recommend both series! Victoria Aveyard is really good at sucking me into her worlds and characters 😂
Oh my goodness I haven’t seen The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight in years 🎀 That was my comfort book when I was younger
If you’re trying to save up some money while eliminating the physical TBR, you could give yourself a certain amount of money per month for books (say $80). When you don’t use up all the $80, throw it into a savings account that you can then use for a book shopping spree when you’ve gotten your physical tbr below 100 (or completely gone through it!!) :) just another option to motivate you & potentially give you another goal besides just getting through the tbr! I’m excited to see how far you get this year!!
