+LegoReader12345 In Canon, it seems like most people stopped viewing the Jedi of the past to have even been real and more like myths. In Legends, once Luke’s New Jedi Order was established, the Jedi’s view became more positive. Eventually many of the Empire’s lies were countered by the New Republic, tho I’m not 100% if they proved that the Jedi didn’t betray the Republic like Palpatine said they did.

Fun fact about triple zero: each and every single time when he has to kill a droid for information he turns off their pain sensors before ripping out their memory unit

I find it sad and heartbreaking that Vader (for a time) had two 'interrogation' droids with him that strongly resemble 3-CPO and R2. I don't know if Vader ever mentioned it, but you can be sure he was constantly reminded of his old friends when triple zero and bt were around. Maybe that's why he had them around, a subtle way to succumbing to the past he desperately tried to escape....
Just missed them and always wanted a reminder of them. He probably had it specifically requested that they be made to resemble threepio and artoo so he'd always have a piece of them.

I saw Triple Zero and clicked immediately. I love Triple Zero. He makes the Aprha comics worth reading and added life to the Darth Vader series, which was great on its own. 3rd favorite canonical character Triple Zero is.
Outside mister Bones and HK47 these are my favourite and most dangours driods also Disney did a 180 on are exptations and made star wars darker I am so happy.
Star Wars has always been dark. Some of the old canon stories read like something out of the Cthulu Mythos. (Plus Disney only ever does things to make people happy because that is what sells.)

I mean, Super Tactical Droid Kalani is my favorite because to me, he's a different kind of terrifying. He's very strategic and intelligent, and he has a possibly infinite army of droids if he can get his hands on a droid factory.

Anthony Clay Are the sailboats made of wood and look like they come from the 18th c.? Unless they're custom made, most sailboats have various modifications added to them and have designs that are much better than what they were before. Most if not all have modern appliances such as motors, plumbing, and other things. Peoples and societies that use less than advanced technology usually do it out of necessity because they aren't rich or aren't connected to the wider galaxy. Triple Zero is a droid with built-in torture devices and weapons why would he resort to second-rate methods?

I say HK-47 likely is better, but I'm unsure, as I don't know much of Triple Zero and BT. HK-47 is a Jedi killer, made by Darth Revan, and has likely more experience, though.
I don't know much about the rest, but G0-T0 likely would be butchered by Triple Zero and BT.
Reading the Vader comics I absolutely loved these characters. It showed not only the complete and utter opposite that Vader was to what he could’ve been as a Jedi Knight but also the fact that Anakin was still present, still there and hanging on to old comforts, even if twisted and warped.

Disney doesn't have any effect whatsoever on the quality of Star Wars stories. They simply decide what can and can't be written now. They might give the go ahead to publish characters like this but they aren't responsible for creating them in the first place.

Agreed, while legends was great there were some goofy things here and there. Disney are continuing this trend.
But keeping it tamed and consistent. When a story is bad in legends, it will never be brought up again. An example would be the Jedi Prince series and Dark Empire (The one where Luke turned to the dark side)

Then you must not know about HK-47. The HK-Series Assassin-Protocol Droids, a combination of assassin droids and protocol droids. The series designation stands for "Hunter Killer," befitting their primary functions as assassins. They were originally manufactured by Czerka Corporation, then eventually by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Their ability to perform the functions of a protocol droid became a major reason for their unmatched lethality, as they could and would often act as normal (if quite sinister looking) protocol droids, thus concealing their true function and allowing them to get closer to intended targets.
