You did a great job at having neutral colours without looking cold. I swear I see some of these all-white or neutral colour apartments and all I can think about is how the space looks like it would be FREEZING cold to me.

Those heaters are not ugly at all. If anything their very cool looking, very vintage from when the building was built. And I love those beautiful wood floors!!
To hide cords, we put a small plant basket beside our console and then popped a small faux plant on top. It worked beautifully. Even for the plug strip.
The tour was nice and your place is beautiful. I, and most people, appreciate the details about where you bought everything. You were very thorough. Ignore the noise and do your thing! Nice job.

Now this is a great "studio" apartment. It's bright and cozy and really clean and comfortable looking. I love the natural light. Your bedroom is super cozy.

i would buy some type of decoration wicker basket or so with the right size for that lil place there between armchair and tv stand and put all the tech stuff in there drill a hole in the side , so that all the cables / cords can go through there and everything is nicely hidden

You have decorated it beautiful . It has white but it's not like blinding while like some people put white everywhere to make it look bigger. I just like color. Yours looks fabulous. Modern aesthetically pleasuring to the eye. It's fabulous. Oh and how you organized the closet. I wouldn't have thought of putting a dresser under the clothes. That's smart. Getting all you can out of the space, but also making it look fabulous . Impressive.
Great job on your apartment! Everything looked designer except for (as you pointed out) your flatscreen wiring. If you don’t want to go to the expense of hiding them in the wall you can get cord covers from Home Depot, Lowes etc. They usually come in several colors to blend with your wall or you can easily paint them with leftover wall paint. A monochromatic look for a small space always makes it look larger. But you might want to add some pop colors with patterns for your sofa pillows! Awesome job!

Hello Kirsten, out of all the small spaces I have watched so far, this is my Favorite, I really enjoyed this tour, and got some ideas for myself so thanks for sharing.
Kirsten, I rewatched your tour as I watched it very late last night and I kept falling asleep and had to back it up. Thnk you for your reply. I think your beautiful and you have a great personality and you have a beautiful home. If that were to ever go on sale as a condo it would be great to own but I am sure you would want a nicer flood free back yard. You have a flare for decorating and I think you have a great kitchen and bathroom. Everything looks new. The rent seems steep but, you have a new kitchen and bathroom and if it is safe and close to public transportation and a job, t hff en it is worth it. When I left my place October 2019 I was paying $1676 with parking included. The last couple yrs they charged us $50 for covered parking and $47 for water which I did not approve of the water cost but you cannot fight city hall. For the closet space you have and the over all space I think it is a good price. I majored in business so many factors go into figuring out what is a fair price. Too bad you do not have a washer and dryer but than that might compromise space here or there. Thank you for your reply. My mom as a young woman up until 2 days before having me rode the Hudson Tubes from NJ to Manhattan. She was an accountant in 1 Wall Street at the Irving Trust Bank. I love that your apartment isn't cluttered with too many knick-knacks. Clean and light. You definitely need the SINK TOPPER for your bathroom. It's the best thing ever for small bathrooms with no counter space. I can't live without mine. I got mine on Amazon

For the TV cords in the living area you might get a or basket or a pot for plants and put the whole mess right down inside. They have some pretty ones as you know, and they aren't just for pots any more... :-)
Great Space. I know you don't like tge radiator. I love radiator. Best heat way better than blow heat. My hubby put base board. I really wanted to keep a few radiator. I 💖 your Studio. Plus you live in NYC! Closet is great size. Enjoy your Studio. In the future if you want have a handy person make a cover for your radiator. Decorated 👍

For the TV cords in the living area you might get a or basket or a pot for plants and put the whole mess right down inside. They have some pretty ones as you know, and they aren't just for pots any more... :-)

Great Space. I know you don't like tge radiator. I love radiator. Best heat way better than blow heat. My hubby put base board. I really wanted to keep a few radiator. I 💖 your Studio. Plus you live in NYC! Closet is great size. Enjoy your Studio. In the future if you want have a handy person make a cover for your radiator. Decorated 👍
