@@12kadira not particularly. not the first of its kind and most likely wont be the last. likely a serial killing. considering the lack of evidence leading to the the fair presumption that this person had done this sort of thing before and planned this killing regardless of the number of intended dead. they need to ask people that live around the house especially above if they noticed a peculiar vehicle parking in the lot behind and around the area in the recent months. this person had to of watched their patterns for at least a month to know the exact time they'd be coming home on a saturday night out. i bet he wanted to do it the week before but had second thoughts and stalked them to make sure they did the same thing. these habitual criminals are predictable. i bet those girls went to that club every weekend leading up to the murders. remember its only early november they have only been there one term
It would be foolish of the police to disclose everything. When you keep what you know to yourself you leave room for the guilty to accidentally tell on themselves during an interview. If the guilty know what you know, they can sidestep mentioning key information that would lead to their being charged.
Far too many people don’t even think about this. They just think about themselves and what they want to know. It’s driving me nuts, the lack of common sense and logic.

Please police, FBI, investigators, etc need to get more aggressive and offer a HUGE $$$ reward , so someone would speak up sooner than later. Be more aggressive with $$$
We believe is someone from their peer group, college, etc perhaps more than one person. Please don't wait any longer. This will be a cold case if you keep waiting . Big $$$ and protection / immunity (perhaps they use drugs or alcohol etc) would make someone speak. Please! Please DO more !! 😭 Did they have a Halloween party? Check their guest list, customs with knives involved, pictures,etc

you have to understand the police have an obligation to protect the community and there is a mass murderer on the loose, so basically there is a mass murderer on the loose and police are saying nothing, uh ok, there is a mass murderer on the loose and police have nothing to say, they have no one in custody, a mass murderer is on the loose and you think it's ok for police to not respond to that because they are worried about a conviction, they dont have any idea who did this
People are annoyed by police not disclosing a lot of info but I have to say it's pretty smart of them cause it'll probably make the killer(or killers) uneasy and fearful which may cause a slip up. If they knew what the Police knew they'd be more chill and confident.
One reason they keep tight lipped is so when they question people, sometimes that person may mention something that only the killer would know.

agreed. there is a difference between need to know and want to know. Anything that they release is to garner any information from the public. Have to keep things close to the vest and is usually the case, they know much more than what they can tell the public. People are impatient. I get it; there is a heinous individual out there and people naturally are afraid but you have to trust that law enforcement (which includes FBI and ISP) are working diligently.

I feel that the murderer knew the victims very well to a point of knowing what they were doing before they died. Victims weren't just sleeping, they were drunk or unconscious. Stabbed 4 people to death wasn't an easy task. The murderer might able to kill the first victim, but the other would fight. The murder had a lot of risks doing that while there were more than 1 person in the house. How could he fight 5 adults at once? Any light sleeper would wakeup if someone made any noise in the house. Everyone in the house, including the 2 roommates , was drunk. I feel that the murderer had planned the homicide. He might be a psycho killer as well.

for the record, pathologist states same knife was used on all victims and the victims were asleep....rumors have it that their throats were slit....no screaming......cops know who made the 911 call.....the survivors and the families will need a lot of love....

I know it is a tragic incident but the other two survived only because they were probably drunk and fast asleep otherwise no way ,they could have escaped this , i think the man following those two girls is the prime suspect and the couple who got killed was just unfortunate,they must be awake and have heard the noise and came to check and got killed as well .

I still say it was the guy in the video standing afar of behind them while they were getting food.If he was there to buy food why not get in line But NO..as soon as they start to walk off he immediately starts following them.He was never there to buy food.But I'd say the police have this footage And the girl Maddie also takes a ariel video which captures everyone that was there in that crowd as if she knew she/they suspected something was up.
Did the victims seem to see and recognize him?
There is a full 10 minute clip of the video surveillance on the "Plunder" True crime channel on YT, and he actually leaves them in a different direction... Still very suspect but the fact he walks in a diff direction is a bit off. Go check it out

I doubt she thought anything was up. They were intoxicated. If you watch the video, the girl in the long coat loses her balance while standing by the food truck. The guy in the video may have been intoxicated as well, and thought perhaps he could make a move on them. Science will solve this. There's no way someone can murder 4 people and not leave a trace of DNA.
Yeah but they took a uber so how could he follow them to the house. he looks like a college kid too that was following them the whole night from the bar to the food court and then he killed them
I think the perpetrator had been to this house before; someone who was known to the either of the victims. He/she were likely aware that the screen door was left open/unlocked at night and who slept in which specific room. Otherwise, without knowing this they got lucky to gain access into the house at 3-4am and just happened to stumble upon the bedrooms occupied by the ones they wanted to kill.
@Gregory Worth They were I the basement and probably passed out drunk ( that part I am guessing) and one of the bodies was blocking the door.

An FBI analyst on another station opined that .... incredible though it may seem ... college student roommates may have been inebriated, and simply slept through it. Or just slept, exhausted, from staying out till 2 or 3. When Ted Bundy committed his murderous rampage at an apartment in Seattle, a few roommates slept through it. And they were not drunk. It's horrible. I do think somebody must know who the suspect is.... perhaps he's no longer living, has committed suicide. The poor roommates though, most likely had nothing to do with it, and hav this suspicion having over them. And the shock and horror of it all

Or the killer just killed everybody that had an unlocked door. Which likely happens to be all the victims that didn’t have a locked bedroom door. Dude was gonna kill anybody he had quiet access to

Wow! I didn't think of that. But I do believe there is something with the roommates and it's not at all that they could be involved . It's just so far I've heard there were 2 people in the home while the attack took place they made it out safe the " next morning " notice no call to 911 untill noon. But yet those words were said they made it out safe the next morning. I think we have to pay attention to what is said and things not said in a case. Again it was stated they heard something , something that made them get up and lock thier door!! I think they definitely heard this attack one father has said his daughter put up a fight I imagine all 4 put up a loud scary fight, could it be that the roommates were so frightened by what the heard and possibly could have seen so scared they left in the morning hours got somewhere safe and was to scared to call 911 I don't know. But I do believe there is something there I do not believe they slept thru this attack .
This is gonna sound crazy but I've been watching so much coverage of the case & Full 10minute footage of the girls & that guy Lurking by the food truck and have been baffled by it & Today I woke up from a dream where I saw the killer was still in a closet with a knife! I'm sure that can't be possible Especially now because the FBI, ISP & Police are going through that house for all evidence but I saw your comment and just had to write what I dreamt of and was thinking!

Why ? The Gainesville Ripper did this exact thing back in 1990 by himself. He stabbed 3 college kids to death in their apartment. He caught them sleeping, one of the college kids was a football player and he was stabbed in his sleep. He woke up and fought but was to injured. The other two girls that lived there tried to fight as well but couldn't fend him off.

Some of the dumbest takes imaginable in here. The two girls who survived likely had their bedroom doors locked. This killer was going to catch anybody that he had silent access to. So he wasn’t going to kick in a locked door and make noise for somebody to have time to call 911 or grab their pepper spray. There are criminals who can scope out a house and break in without ever being there before. That’s why they do it at night cause they know when you’re in bed. Highly doubt these young adults personally knew somebody capable of this. Remember, this perpetrator killed 4 people silently in their sleep. With no arrest yet so they obviously have some talent for successful criminal behavior. Targeted killing by a stranger is my guess

Im confused. How did the two roommates not hear anything despite one knife being used on 4 people? Even if the first one was attacked in their sleep at some point someone would hear a scuffle for the next 3? Also how were police not called until afternoon AND how were the roommates not the ones to call police with such a gruesome scene? Who else just showed up to this house (i mean how many knew to just walk in?) and looks at a “gruesome scene” and says “unconscious person”??? I feel like the person that said unconscious person is suspect. With the blood they’re saying was dripping, even through the outside wall, seems like you’d know right away something worse happened.

I agree! I do not believe the others slept thru this. I don't think they are guilty of anything . But also if someone snapped killed 4 people and they knew 2 we're in another room hearing this loud brutal attack with a knife on 4 people putting up a fight how was suspect so sure the 2 we're not dialing 911 as this was happening?? Idk just hoping the police have way more answers then they are making people believe they have.

That should be criminal. You hear a loud noise and don’t check on your roommates or call for help even first thing after you wake up? Like what?! @@catapillargirl2021 in one report he says and I'm paraphrasing, I do not know why the call came 8 hours later and not during the attack. Also says that the 2 roommates were not witnesses. I'm just hoping they have a suspect soon and some answers for the parents.
I know that me and my roomates don’t get out of bed until around 12 , we may be awake but don’t actually get out of our rooms to see each other, the roommates probably thought it was wired they didn’t hear anyone , checked and found them dead

If someone is being stabbed to death there would have been screaming and yelling, the fact that no one heard this is crazy. And also how one person can kill all 4 by a knife and no one could fought back. Its someone that knows them and most likely is jealous or got turned down by these two girls took revenge.
Theoretically, if these people were stabbed directly in the throat, especially below the larynx, making any kind of real noise other than an empty gasp would have been very difficult. Immobilization would very quickly follow, and death most likely in less than a minute. Bottom line is that this sounds fishy as hell, because whoever performed my aforementioned methodology would have had to have been well practiced at this, like a med student, or a psychotic, or both. The chances of this scenario occurring are very, very, very, slim. Drunk or not, all six people, or even the “correct” two, were THAT drunk, at the right time? Maybe all six were pre-drugged elsewhere, giving the killer the assurance that ALL them would be incapacitated enough to succeed. Or the two survivors are guilty of conspiring or actually committing the crime. Regardless, not a simple or random murder.
The dog didn't bark, and no forced entry? Does the ex-boyfriend have a key? The dog was his dog too. If anyone woke and saw him.... they all knew him. His alibi is "I was asleep".....very possible but flimsy af too. Leave phone home then go over. Just saying. Also maybe the bedroom door was locked of whoever they thought was unconscious , and never saw blood. As far as nobody hearing anything...aside from inebriation, its common for ppl to sleep w music on or tv.
When the two roommates saw them and said not responding they did see the blood splatter all around the bed , right. There were marks on all the victim's body, telling that they fought for their lives. Their struggles, their fight with the the murderer must have surely make some noise and sounds. I just wondered how come the other two in the basement didn't hear such a thing. I believed their is more than one murderer here.

I really feel this was someone they knew. I think the murderer is in plain sight. WHO made the 911 call- it can’t be that hard to figure it out. An “ unconscious person “… no mention of a massacre? Did the killer come off his drug trip and realize what she/he had done? Then made the 911 call?
I could swear when this story broke the info was that a 911 call was made reporting an unconscious subject lying on a driveway/ lane. That could explain this front door being ajar.

I have been following this case But I learned about it a little later & feel So Awful for the 4Young Amazing College kids💔but I want to see justice served Immediately, so now I have watched as much coverage and read a lot that has been reported as well as conversations on reddit & the 10 minute stream from twitch By grubtruckers were you seeing 2of the Beautiful girls Just enjoying a regular night out grabbing food and then heading home and an Uber but you see this guy Who not only is fixated on them and watching them You see him coming behind them when they came up to the truck then See him stepping back to take off his hat turn it around a pull the brim down to cover his face and then also put on his hoodie and pull it tightly & steps away from the truck knowing that there's Live recording cause it's On the Truck, then he steps over when the women step over the wait for the food and he stays close to them and he keeps Watching everything they're doing and the moment that Leave with the food he practically skips to follow them And we know now they got an Uber so he proceeded to go to the right to the parking lot which I think was to get his car and follow them! He might have known Of these girls and their house is a well known party house, so he could have easily thought "I'll see if the sliding door is open" and unfortunately for them it was Because it's been reported that the killer gained access that way! I also wish people would stop questioning why the roommates did not hear anything-If you remember being in college or just being a young adult You stay out late you drink and when the weekend comes you sleep in & many do so til noon because You've been studying, going to classes, staying up lacking sleep by staying up late & partying on week days, so when the weekend comes you make up for it by Sleeping Late, And nowadays people wear earbuds So they really can't hear anything when they're noise canceling and if these girls like I read said they locked their doors when they sleep in their rooms upstairs they're not gonna really hear anything and they had been drinking And fell asleep. I saw something that said the girls supposedly made a statement that they saw Ethan and the girlfriend Xana the other roommate Come home they said hi when upstairs and went to sleep cause they were drunk and so were the couple, So I think that this killer came upon them and killed them as to not leave a witness either before or after he killed the girls cause it looks like They were home before the girls got back either way it's so sad and I hope this killer is brought to justice very very soon and my heart and prayers go out to the victims and their family and all their friends, classmates, sorority sisters and loved ones🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was thinking the roommates may have called and reported an unconscious person and they may really have just thought they were passed out if the killer murdered 3people in bedrooms and closed the doors to each room and maybe killed one in a common area and covered them up. The roommates wouldn’t be able to tell if they were dead or alive if this were the case.. who knows though. It’s not impossible to not know what happened.
I was wondering if there was a med school at this college? The person certainly made sure each person was dead, FOR SURE! It makes me think the killer maybe a hunter or in medicine… All just speculation though…
According to the police the 2 female roommates never heard or saw anything.They basically slept through it all. Left in the morning. Neither of them were the ones who called 911 and only realized something bad happened when then arrived back home and saw the police cars.
Could've been a locked door, heard a ringing phone, saw their car in the driveway and assumed too much drinking and their roommate/friend was passed out. So they called a friend to try and open the door, they couldn't so they called the cops. The cops discover the crime scene. It's unfortunate that the crime scene was possibly contaminated by the cops not being called first, but it makes sense. 2 students under the legal drinking age, in a "party" house. You call the cops to help but they're not really paid to be your "friends". All of a sudden someone is busted for underage drinking or being in possession or some cr*p. It makes sense that young people in this situation wouldn't call the cops first unless it was an emergency.

The coroner can’t tell if any of them have defensive wounds or were awake?? I don’t think defensive wounds would be that tough to call, unless they each had hundreds of stab wounds! That’s so odd.. This was either really atrocious, or she’s a terrible coroner! 🤔

No, I highly doubt that she’d come out and blatantly say that she just couldn’t tell, if she could. They’d just say that they’re not releasing that information right now. I’ve heard many coroner’s testifying in court, going over autopsies and each injury step by step, and often times they can tell which order, or at least assume which order the injuries were inflicted. They can determine which caused the decedents death, which were inflicted postmortem, and they can most always tell which were defensive wounds, so I definitely have my reservations about this lady thus far.

I don't think the public is very frustrated with the **lack** of information, they're frustrated by the contradictory and nonsensical misinformation coming from LE.
The police said this is a targeted killing, but you cannot possibly make that claim without knowing who the suspect was and their motivations.
The police said there was no threat to the wider community, but again this could not possibly be a correct statement unless the suspect was in custody.
The police said the girls got an Uber home from the food truck, now they're saying they didn't, and they haven't confirmed if they've spoken to the driver.
The police allowed the video from the food truck to circulate as though the individuals in it were being sought, but now we find out they've spoken to them and they're not suspects.
You're asking for the public's help but telling the public a bunch of nonsensical and contradictory things. How can local people help you with this investigation when everything you release is reversed 24 hours later?

This is a violent, personal, and chaotic yet controlling crime. The victims were stabbed multiple times, this is a crime where the perpetrator is in personal space engaging in the crime. Not like a gun shooting into a crowd. Two were spared? Sounds like a love triangle.....

It had to be the roommates or someone that came to the house at that time. but still when you stab someone there is blood everywhere. I would call 911 yelling at the top of my voice. IDk this is all strange. how come no cameras were on the street or something to see someone leaving the house

I can't believe that the sliding doors wouldn't be locked..I live in a low crime state and I lock all my doors at night .even my windows are locked..In this day and age, People lock doors before they go to bed.. Also why weren't there bedroom doors locked,the two other girls had there bedroom doors locked .

I keep getting that this was a jealous rage killing. It being such a violent knife crime, I think the police are looking at a revenge motive and they are pretty sure they will find who did it. There are too many people who know each other involved. Someone either knows or has suspicions, maybe more than one knows. It's also possible that the people at the house who called it in hours later waited because they were threatened by whoever did it. They may be terrified to be targets, too.
Maybe one of girls ex boyfriends or one the girls was having affair with one of guys or the roommate that owned the house was planning to kick one of the roommates out and she and boyfriend did the killings

I’ve read that sliding glass doors are very easy to manipulate and open them.P, that it’s best to put a bar in the track on the doors. That way the only way to enter thru there would be to break the glass.

If this was a targeted attack, then why kill 4 people, instead of just the intended target? Why leave the other 2 girls in the house? This is such a strange case & nothing makes sense. We can rule out the guy, as the intended victim, because he didn't live there. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. If they were all sleeping, then there was no reason to kill the others, since they claim this was a "targeted attack" . At this point, I don't have much confidence in that police department. They were claiming there was no reason to be concerned, but they have no suspects & the killer(s) still on the loose. They waited too long to get the information to the public & they still refuse to give ANY details. Why did the person call the police & say it was an "unconscious person" because there had to be blood everywhere? How did they know there was an unconscious person? Why didn't the 2 surviving roommates hear screaming, fighting with the attacker(s), or see the blood everywhere? Stabbing is a very personal method, extremely messy, & most attackers injure themselves because the blood makes their hands slippery. The perpetrator(s) had to be covered in blood & the victims blood will be all over his clothes, shoes, car, house, etc. There are so many questions. I wish the police would give us more details, tell us who they think the "intended victim" was, or why they think it's a targeted attack?
Maybe not rule out the guy. Maybe Ethan was targeted that night because finally he wasn't around other guys and was around females. U can't say for certain anything. It's unknown.

Or the surviving girls lived on another floor. It’s not like the shared kitchen was full of blood. Lots of reasonable explanations as to why the survivors had no idea their was a massacre in those bedrooms
