Not a serial killer. This is a crime of passion and anger at someone, a narcissistic pattern if I can’t have you no one will. Possible mother issues too!
Could be a serial killer (well, Is it still a serial killer if he knew the victims personally and also plotted and then executed a plan?) Idk... All I knw is that The FBI is involved! But Why? Do small towns call the FBI after every murder or does it need to be multiple victims or is there some other criteria? Such as a FEDERAL CRIME that was committed? (The main issue with most Americans is that we simply do not ask questions as we would rather lazily accept the first narrative being presented to us but the "crazies" won't stop asking questions and so we're messing the Game up... : )
That would be extremely damaging to the investigation. Let’s say they did release a profile.. They tell the whole world what type of guy this is, what job he probably has, how he acts towards others.. etc etc. Guess who also gets that info? yeah the killer. A handy how-to guide for how to change his behavior.
Little did Banfield know that after this brutal crime, with no murder weapon found and no suspect, EVERYBODY IN TOWN would show a change in their behavior and everyday routine, which put everyone on edge and point the finger at just everybody. You might as well say the people in that town should look in the mirror and point the finger at themselves because of their sudden behavior change.

This guy is not a serial killer, I don't think. He is a friend, associate known to their circle who was triggered by some combination of emotion, and humiliation, that led to rage probably because the person who triggered this is so close to him. The other deaths may have been collateral damage as they recognized the killer. But then again, there's no way to know. I think he's back to himself, but carrying this heavy albatross of an unspeakable crime and rationalizing it to himself as "they pushed me to this, this isn't who I am." But, yeah, it is. It's just so horrible all around.
Have you ever seen a chick pissed because you left the bathroom a wreck ? Girls cut deep. Sleepy girls see her and are confused Then it's all Edward scissor hands
Something that I just can’t wrap my head around: Surely, at the very least, someone noticed cuts on a loved one/acquaintance around that time? I find it hard to believe that this person saw no one - family, coworkers, or otherwise - for several weeks while they healed. You don’t walk away from a knife fight unscathed.
True. I'm sure everyone in the town looks at each other's hands and arms more suspiciously now, and surely the police have done that screening thoroughly, on all the kids and relatives associated with the victims.
@@marthawoodworth It was winter time plus he doesn't want to leave fingerprints. Gloves would have protected his hands from cuts. More and more this is looking like a "perfect crime." Did he plan this out to the point he wore a hazmet type suit? Took it off before he left, put it into a garbage bag and disposed of it far away. Then no blood where he lives. Who knows but either this guy is incredibly lucky or he's a master criminal.
Whoever did this had a timeline and I can even bet he/ she/they planned it for a while. Why do it right before a major holiday? Why do it right before graduation? Because they knew there would be changes on campus where people would not notice an absence. Changes where this murderer could mask certain behaviors such as relief for sadness or indifference as PTSD. I think the person / people responsible for this will be a surprise to many. I can’t wait for the truth to be brought to light and some sort of justice for the families. The families will never have their children back but I hope one day at least this monster can be put away forever.
The only "surprise" I can think of is someone like Richard Allen, the Delphi suspect; someone "hiding in plain sight" that no one would would suspect, like a Walmart greeter or a pizza delivery guy. Someone not "connected" to the victims, but who "watched" them and might have been slighted by the girls who barely noticed him.

I agree with Orlando down there.... I don't think it's rational or even fair to assume they were killed because they were young, happy, or pretty. Its because the murderer is a DEVIANT freak psychopath who had a bloodlust and a real fkn problem with these people. im wondering what you mean in "specializes in dark triad psychopathy" you state "dark triad psychopathy" as one concept- not sure if just meant like dark triad AND pyschopathy or something like that maybe but saying dark traid pyschopathy as one thing seems to be qualifying it as type of psychopathy or specifying some difference from just regaular pyschopathy, which is confusing. If psychopathy is one of the 3/"triad" of traits of the dark triad personality theory im wondering what dark triad psychpathy would mean exactly. Also; you say to specialize in dark triad pyschopathy but im wondering what that means in terms of like the general specializations in psychology( like clinical, cognitive, counseling, developmemtal, etc etc etc) which area or type of pyscholigst or practice etc would specalize specifically in psycopathy or dark triad? I don't have enough information or expertise to say what is or isn't likely. i just feel that too many people are dismissing this possibility out of hand. 5 myths about serial murder acording to FBI. Myth #1: All Serial Killers Are Men. Myth #2: All Serial Killers Are Caucasian. Myth #3: All Serial Killers Are Isolated and Dysfunctional Loners. Myth #4: All Serial Murderers Travel Widely and Kill Interstate. Myth #5: All Serial Killers Are Either Mentally Ill Or Evil Geniuses. Persistent misinformation, stereotypes and hyperbole presented in the media have combined to foster a number of popular myths about serial murder. Based on recent FBI crime statistics, there are approximately 15,000 murders annually, 150 victims of serial murder in the U.S. in any given year. The FBI estimates that there are between twenty-five and fifty serial killers operating throughout the U.S. at any given time. If there are fifty, then each one is responsible for an average of three murders per year. Serial killers are always present in society. If you are one of those people that still think real serial killers come across as socially awkward you really need to listen to the taped interviews of Gacy, Kemper, BTK, Bundy, especially Kemper. There are lot of good docs and books about the ones they caught. I wish I had a nickel for every detective that said the thing that freaked them out the most, the thing that made their skin crawl even more than the horrific crime scenes, was just how affable, normal, often well spoken and downright ordinary these killers seemed during processing and in interviews. What is "the" serial killer personality type? Answer,....... there is no such thing.
How did the two girls not get harmed? I can't imagine how they feel. Waking up to what they saw. There families I can't imagine their feelings. I sure hope this doesn't go on to be a cold case. That person or persons need to be put away
@dishdog7886 I have to believe the killer slit the victims throats so they would die quickly...just stabbing someone in the torso is usually not quick and people sometimes survive multiple stab wounds and can fight back. That would also explain why no screaming or yelling by the victims. This crime could also have been done by drug cartels...if drugs were involved in some way. Maybe one or more of these kids were selling and didn't pay up or were told to stop...they didn't and a message was sent!
Exactly. They even said one of the victims had defense wounds meaning she fought for her life. That wouldnt be quiet at all!!! And to “sleep” through that is just insane. I dont care how drunk they were, they werent deaf.
The roommates even went and got matching tattoos after the murders. I thought that was creepy. Almost like their "trophies". It still gives me the creeps.
The fact the killer was able to even think about doing what was done but actually following through makes me think the killer lacks empathy, care or love. I doubt remorse is felt and is probably doing life unaffected.
The thing is, almost ANY person living near campus would be acting "differently" after this massacre near them. The killer, if local, could mask his anxiety or guilt with feigned upset over the tragedy.
My gut feeling hasn't stopped telling me that it is either the 2 roommates or someone the victim (s) had been around 1 to 60 days prior to the murders.

And what about the ex-boyfriend who drove 500 miles to his parents' cabin the night of the murders? Apparently parents and everyone thinks that was perfectly normal behavior?!!?
I honestly only see Jack S as a suspect because he simply disappeared within hours of being with the girls. His family takes a trip to Kenya every November. He left in the middle of the night to their second home. He had time there to clean up and then leave with them on that flight. It’s a weird time to leave for a college student. No one is answering questions about where he is now, or what car he drives. If I was either of the Jacks I’d be clearing my name publicly.

One of the surviving roommates made entrance to the second floor and caught a small glimpse of the carnage. She ran outside where friends were on their way over to her, and she passed out from shock. One of the friends made the 911 call from her phone.
@@lizpurr8402 I heard this same story. I wonder if it’s true. I think details like who made the call & from whose phone it was is not important to “solving the crime.” I just believe people are in shock & they’re doing weird stuff because they’re in shock. For instance, I saw someone at a pharmacy collapse in the entryway, and I started telling people at the register to call 911. Later, I thought: “Why didn’t I call 911 with the cell phone in my pocket?”
@Elizabeth Purr ive often wondered if one of the 2nd floor victims made it out of the bedroom, to the common area & collapsed. So when going up to the kitchen they saw them and ran back down/outside. I can not believe how bad U.S. intelligence is at behavioral analysis. You need to be looking for more than just outward subjective reactions of individuals. This should have begun with a behavioral profiling of the entire student body, local government, college staff, the victims ( obviously ), and the entire community. Secondly, and perhaps even more important, there should be a significant amount of study into the type of behavioral conditioning within that town, county, state, as well as all of the above for the entire student body and their origins etc. Even from my point of view at my desktop computer with no real evidence, I can spot very quickly, that there was most likely more than one individual that performed these killings. There should be an entire behavioral profile structured around just the wounds themselves, including depth of wounds, angle of attacks, etc., as well as a profile built around the blood samples etc, like how dry each sample was in order to determine things like approximate age of attack ( what time it occurred ), etc. etc. etc.

you state "dark triad psychopathy" as one concept- not sure if just meant like dark triad AND pyschopathy or something like that maybe but saying dark traid pyschopathy as one thing seems to be qualifying it as type of psychopathy or specifying some difference from just regaular pyschopathy, which is confusing.
Really excellent questions-great interview and insights!
Most Serial Killers move around.

The fact the killer was able to even think about doing what was done but actually following through makes me think the killer lacks empathy, care or love. I doubt remorse is felt and is probably doing life unaffected.

There should be an entire behavioral profile structured around just the wounds themselves, including depth of wounds, angle of attacks, etc., as well as a profile built around the blood samples etc, like how dry each sample was in order to determine things like approximate age of attack ( what time it occurred ), etc. etc. etc.
These sort of pieces must create so many time-wasting leads for police.

Probably has the best poker face ever
Maybe a hitman was hired by someone?
*Hitperson
I still believe it's someone in their immediate circle
Can’t we use google street view or some over the sky images to help?
Wow I can't remember when so many "experts" have weighed in and speculated on such a horrible crime. I really feel for the families who not only suffered the horrific loss of their children to a blood thirsty psychopath but now have to endure all the youtubers pronouncing what they think had happened and how they feel. What really matters is what these families feel and I hope that they will get the answers they deserve soon. It won't bring their children back but at least the person or persons responsible will be punished.
@Mr Relampago Negro... Hopefully the families are not watching YT ... I agree w you on what really matters tho
I 100 % agree. Way too many people giving their opinions. Let the police and FBI do their job.
Maybe the people who are talking about this really are touched by this. I know I am. My glass is half full.
I think that because this is just like something out of the movie Scream that people are horrified and are trying to figure out who did this, before they do it again. We have murders in America every day, but not like this. This is something completely different, absolutely sadistic and most peoples worst nightmare.
@@X3AmySarah Darryll Brooks: you got competition
I think this was someone who knew them. I pray everyday they are caught and will pay for what they did. It’s hard to be patient and I can’t imagine what the families are going through. May God give them peace and comfort!
Jim Clemente: “One of the girls probably had a stalker or someone known to them”
Maddie Mogen: “Were walking in groups to make Kaylee feel safe”
Idaho police: There’s no evidence to support the theory of a stalker. 😡
Store manager who knew the girls: “Kaylee said there was a man stalking her to and from bars when she went out and was afraid of him.
Wtf Idaho police dept ?!! A renowned former fbi profiler told you this in the beginning !!
That vape guy didn't know them. He rarely saw them. I don't think they told him ANY story, let alone a stalker story. He's full of it
@@kellyrene1028 or maybe he’s the guy who did it ? Inserting himself into the investigation. Not the first time a murderer did a public interview 🤔
@Mariné Hattingh the vape guy was sought out by a reporter, i think Entin, while the story about a vape shops camera having already deleted video after 7 days. Then answered questions. Also, i think he said Maddie said they walk in groups bc a friend had a stalker in the past. He also didnt actually know them more than a customer relationship
If any of the girls were Really concerned about a Stalker they would have done something about it for sure at least Said " he's that guy over there he wears this or that and he's older etc they said nothing about this mystery stalker ....they have there phones with them all the time and no photos of the stalker? I'm not buying the attacker is a stalker ....
@@vls3771 you actually raise a good point, anyone who had a stalker would’ve done something about or posted about it or something like that. I didn’t even think of that
i think the killer is a student of the University of Idaho. There should be REWARD 1 million dollars
Perhaps they just need to appeal to the (Idaho?) public for tips about knife freaks they know, or at least ponder if the person they know whose so into them could feasibly kill for sport. Then just follow those leads up. In my life people who are real enthusiastic about knives always make that known and never just keep ownership and knife talk to themselves. I doubt this guy just has one knife, and although this may be one of his larger ones it's not necessarily the largest. I just think of all the things to investigate it time to focus on that angle.
@@IamthatwhichIsayIAm
Well: He sure got The Last Word.
knife freaks? it's idaho lmao there's going to be some thousands + weapon/knife crazed Americans in a state like idaho- i doubt they have any leads through that tho :c
The killer is not a serial killer first of all. It’s a narcissistic killer. And second of all, he’s already on the other side of the world. Everyone knows this is why they haven’t caught him even with the help of 60 FBI professionals. The killer is not someone who can live nearby and not get caught bc they’re good at hiding their sadistic secret. It’s someone who has had an obvious issue for a long time. This kid isn’t anywhere near Idaho anymore. Wake up.
Where is the ire and indignation of Nancy Grace? I watched her expound on this case. We need more ☝️😎👊
That's the one who thought "tot mom" was so clever that she spewed it about 1000 times.
That neighbor of theirs is making my spidey senses tingle .
They seem to have no idea
It do be like that
I don’t understand what people expect. The police aren’t going to give out their entire investigation. They are trying to catch a killer without tipping him off to what they know.
Anyone who could murder four people in their sleep most likely has a few cluster B personality disorders and likely does not feel remorse or like they're carrying around a secret.
I just do not believe that a person with normal psychology would be capable of this in the first place.
Tell tale signs this case is going nowhere fast .
No information besides the car
No profile of killer
No suspects
No Dna ?
We want answers and I wish the public could help solve this , there are some great slueths that can help . I'm not one of them but I follow some good RUclips channels who are badass.
How do you know any of that is true? The FBI has been involved so the almost certainly have a profile.
I’m not the one who capes for law enforcement, but seriously.. If they release all of that, show their cards, it would be reckless and stupid.
It’s Investigation 101. keep tight control over all information.. share only what’s necessary. And certainly don’t jeopardize the entire case over public opinion.
@@lilyt18 I know but I want to know. DNA would be back by now. Only takes 4 weeks . Where's the killer ? He killed 4 and left 0 dna. Now they're looking at 22,000 white Hyundai Elantra's? Seems unlikely from how little it seems they have
They will solve this crime.
I told Adam (ex-boyfriend's roommate) everything. Nobody has been MORE quiet than that ex.
I agree, was he always quiet or just all of a sudden? Only his friends would know... if his friends say he was always outspoken and now he is avoiding attention then that would be a red flag.
"confirmation bias - trying to prove one thing or disprove another" hear that folks?!. good stuff
That's a scary thought for these people in Moscow. Watching those close to them, for different behaviours for the purpose of seeing if they may be a killer. Oh good lord.
they need to know that this person will hit again
Thanks for working towards justice and rehabilitation for the Nation ! ❤️
This is why the neighbor/chef looks suspicious to me. In my opinion, he appears aloof when speaking of his neighbors....never speaking about how horrendous these murders are.
👌
Also only one mentioning a random supped up black SUV.. also strange
Wow. That was absolutely useless.
