What software did you use to edit this video? I like the transition you did.

Final Cut Pro X .. I used the stock Flow transition at different lengths. It only really achieves the morph affect you see on clips that vary significantly from one another.
The other transitions are plugins from LenoFX (Glitch) and Pixel Film Studios (TransZoom).

How did you get that effect at about 49 seconds where the log in the water became the cliff face? That looked really nice...

Do you get any micro jitters with the 35-100mm?

Chris Klugh I don't know for sure, but I believe the micro jitter issue is due to people not using "appropriate" shutter speeds. The 180 degree rule, where the shutter speed is double the frame rate (or as close as possible). If you don't have an ND filter and are shooting in broad daylight you'll have to crank the shutter speed up, which will probably result in jitter

I'm actually trying to decide between these 2 lenses right now! I know they are very different in what they do, but if you could only have 1 which would you choose? I am guessing the 35-100 might be more versatile while the 8-18 is for more specific reasons ...

Chris Moran The 35-100mm is far more versatile. I’d go with that if I could only get one.
