Yes, that was me. I was getting an ACL reconstruction surgery after got back home from Mammoth. I tried to ride as much as I can while at Mammoth before I have to be grounded for unknown length of time to recover from the surgery.
I tried swapping my board direction backwards after watching this video and it was a HUGE mistake. Especially with fangs, it’s SUPER dangerous when you run out of battery. It captain Morgan’s then sends you full speed unable to bail dragging fangs... never again!! Much better to deal with the weight by just custom tuning the nose down.
I'm just letting people know it's an option to try. The balance is very different depending on the chair you use and position you like to place it on OneWheel. I got a new chair now that works better mounted forward. It's hard to know ahead of time which way is better until you try. No matter how you mount it, you need to have room to lead back while you move forward in order to stop. If your back can lean against the chair while you ride forward, you will have a hard time stopping when you need to.
