Finally! Someone talks about the nitty gritty of despilling! I thought it was some sort of sin to mix despills but it seems not. Glad to know I'm not crazy and there's nothing wrong with the alpha channel.
Really very nice tutorial video, so much helpful to learn advanced techniques. And your way to explanation is very nice to understand. Thanks to make such great tutorial video...
I never comment on videos,But i had to comment here.Mannn!!! you are such a legend for sharing all your knowledge for free,I wish you have all the success and an amazing life bro! Cheers!!! :)
Hi Tony - ive been trying to find out how the grey matte technique works - can you advise where i can find more information about this - excellent tutorials
Hi Tony, how would you tackle a more complex shot with lots of camera movement, motion blur, moving subjects etc.. Does it then become a task of roto'ing all the different areas to build a patch work of different despills? I imagine this could become quite a time consuming and complex task? Or is there a more efficient solution? I suppose like an edge extend that only affects colour values within the despill, without distorting the image?
Check out this VFXforFimmaker's video where I do a demo with the new template script. We have also provided the source footage, and work file for you to practice with on your own. The material to download is free, follow the link in his description. Download it and practice with this great 4K ACES blackmagic greenscreen footage! it's bad for me not find an advanced tutorial like yours in spanish, i got lost when you change to the other sections and i didn't understand how did you use the first despill section to get the final result :'(. i hope you understand what i am trying to say..
