    Never call yourself pathetic. That job is reserved for other people so don't take that away from them ;) You do you and they do you as well! :P Thanks for the tutorial!

    At 20:39 instead of adding a shuffle node you could also use Shift +A in the viewer where you want to see alpha as result.

    What is the idea between Dark and Light regarding the edges, is to bring as much as you can to the shadow of the edges that is on the green screen??

    Hi thanks for the great tutorial! May I ask how do I get rid of the grey edges that is constantly in my keyed image when I place it on a background?

    @32:40 Should I follow the hair with the mask?

  • @SitinprettyProductions

    Great video! Is there a way to force the ibk color to omit a section (the opposite of how you added in the mask/hair details with a roto)? It keeps picking up a part of the footage that I don't want included in the alpha...

      You could add a mask around crap area and merge in a (set to) stencil instead of an over.

    just for test, i've put a 1920x1080 24p ProRes 422 HQ as Read footage and the IBK Color works fine. What do you think?

    • @VFXforfilm
      @VFXforfilm  5 лет назад

      Martin Biedma the prorez X is probably a codec not friendly to Nuke.

      @@VFXforfilm i'm working perfect with prores 4444 XQ takes in Nuke. Everything smooth....This (IBK Color) is the first time it don't.

    Hi bro, tks for share your work here!!! do the IBK has a resolution limitation? i'm running Nuke x 11.2v2, camera footage 5760x3072 24p ProRes 4444 XQ and i patch the IBK color v3_1 and nothing, viewer remains black, alpha too (black). Screen Type inside IBK color set to green (green plate shooted). Playing with the Colorspace in the Read (camera footage) only in CINEON/ALEXA V3/PLogLIin/Slog3/Log3G12/ HDR2084 somthing shows up...but "white zones" here and there, nothing to work. Any advice? cheers!!

      Martin Biedma Odd, check your individual channels R G B. Maybe the footage is bad. try transcoding it to lower form of prorez. Is the IBK gizmo also set to green screen?

    • @LastLoopBRM
      @LastLoopBRM 5 лет назад

      @@VFXforfilm tks for your reply!!. the footage is ok. The Keylight works perfect. Its only the IBK color node alone that do not....weird. R G or B channelsI tested. I will try a less ress clip, some 4k DCI.

    You could change the default IBK colour color with python, in your menu.py
