In the internet age of social isolation and paradoxically social media algorithms funneling people into dangerous echo-chambers, I've seen more than one polymath go off the deep end and pop up months later shouting incel talking points. Hopefully he has a good real life social circle to keep him grounded. I hope that for everyone, honestly.

I will say that the album was overproduced and the mixing ruined the power of a lot of the songs. Pete’s voice is very commanding in their older albums and it kinda gets lost in the weeds with the newest album.

Talk about convergent evolution. That verse guitar riff is near identical to the riff in the verses for Passive by A Perfect Circle. It's like if the singer from Chevelle and the instrumentalists from A Perfect Circle made Bad Guy. Freakin dope.
