hi ladies my daughter have dermoid cyst on her ovary and im just here for prayer and information. From being a woman that have had 3 c-sections im eager to learn more about it..pray you guys are having a blessed day
last week i had a dermoid cyst and my right ovary removed. it was causing pain on my pelvic, waist, and rib area. my doctor was shocked during surgery because it was bigger than what the ct scan and ultrasound had shown. it was 15 cm.
3 years ago, I've been experienced the same symptoms like you describes, I've heard the same advice from these different Doctor but because I needed to fly abroad for a job then I decided not to do the surgery yet. In the middle of 2020 I did focused on changing my diet and also seriously do a regular exercise and thanks GOD for his favour though my monthly period still have pain but I can still manage it. This January 2023 is my scheduled check up and if the Doctor will say the same advice, I think I'm ready now for the surgery since I still wanted to have atleast two more children in the future. Well I will include you in my prayer and stay pain free 🙂
Wow thank you for sharing! You are so strong for handling all those symptoms for years. If you do end up having surgery I hope the process goes well for you and that you have a speedy recovery ❤️ Thank you for watching
It's really a good feeling that I'm not alone in this situation. I not a mom yet and just recently discovered a right ovarian cyst teratoma. If God let me, I'll do my surgery next week. It's a scary situation. I did the MRI today and was the worse! I'll pray for all women in this situation, and that we can have our babies even if with only one ovary left. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@Heidi Cordeiro, How did your surgery go? I have a 7cm dermoid cyst on my ovary and getting it and my ovary removed next month. Getting MRI soon and like you said it’s the worst it’s really hard for me to feel worried. I’m also 9 weeks pregnant with first baby and safely can get the laparoscopic surgery at 2nd trimester. Just found out I’ll lose the 1 ovary. Doc said we can still get pregnant and hormones will still function with the 1 ovary remaining. Still scary because this is my 1st baby and hope to have at least 2 babies. How are you douing with your surgery? ❤️
@@missld6856 thank you for asking. I'm fine. I had robotic surgery, but needed a C-section cut to take the tumor of. Thank God was benign, but I lost right ovary and fallopian tube. But one ovary I'll be fine to get my babies in near future. I was trying to get pregnant and was not happening, and had irregular periods, still don't know if was by the cyst in the left ovary (yes, one more thing removed) or the teratoma. Your case is special because of the pregnancy. But you'll be fine and the baby too. MRI is the worse, try something to distract yourself from the noise, pray or meditation will help. I wish you and your baby good fortune and you'll be ok soon.
@@heidicordeiro556 Thank you so much for your input and encouragement it really helps! It's a hard place to be in right now. Losing my ovary I've decided is all ok now its just getting that evil MRI i need to get soon and then awaiting the results! I literally don't know if I'll be able to answer my phone to hear the results I will be shaking. The best to you!! ♥️
@@heidicordeiro556 Good to know that ur cyst was benign. Mine condition is almost same, right ovary along with cyst is removed. But I m not lucky, mine cyst is cancerous. Got the biopsy report two days before. I haven't any kid. Life is becoming hell. I haven't tell thus to my parents yet. Can't see them in pain in this age. My husband is in big tension. What to do? Life is STRESSFUL! Went to the dr today thought I had a small demroid cyst to be removed found out the thing is huge and no way to save one of my overies. Uggh. Good luck to you
U r right... Life is stressful. My right ovary along with cyst is removed recently. And cyst is also cancerous. Mine ca 125 also elevated. I wish u good surgery. Prayers for u ❤️ U don't worry, everything will be alright.
I just got an emergency surgery for my dermoid cyst ☹️ and I didn't even know I already got 13cm and about to rupture already, Thank God it was removed before it rupture. It's sad, it scares me, I haven't had a follow up check up for almost 7 months already after having surgery. It scares me everyday and kept on overthinking :< Hope my left ovary is still healthy.
I am in the same situation and praying for you 🙏 I have a surgery conseltation in May. I am following you and appreciate you sharing your journey. It has helped me
@@shantacurtis3218 My surgery went well and was a success. The recovery took longer than I thought! I took off a week of work, but needed more like 2 and just ended up working from home. I needed help getting up and down for a few days and slept in a lazyboy chair. Go easy on the pain meds as well.. they stopped me up lol. Hoping the best for you!
How are you ladies able to get doctors to actually approve surgery? I have bilateral cysts, one 6cm and one 7cm and they cause me pain and the doctors are just saying to wait and see.
While I was pregnant my dermoid cyst was about 4cm , after pregnancy within a year it doubled in size 10cm 😮, I guess maternity hormones made it grow, I had to get emergency surgery for the removal in the middle of the pandemic and my baby was only 1 years old. Now 3 years later , all the weird symptoms are coming back and I’m getting the same pains I kept ignoring for so long (dizziness , bloating , fatigue , weight gain, side back pains , like you I thought I was deficient in something and labs all come back normal). I think mines is growing back, I will be seeing GyN soon to confirm.
Omg I am so sorry to hear! I myself am experiencing same symptoms again. I actually just found out I have PCOS. I’m hoping to film a video soon about it.
Mine must’ve grown from the hormones too!! I had no idea I had a dermoid cyst until I had pain in my side and nausea. It was never found on ultrasounds during my pregnancy, but now my daughter is 17 months and my cyst is now 10cm x 8cm x 8cm
I am having the same surgery on April 18 and its been years of having it and women doctors tell me that it was ok if im not having any pain. It took for me to visit a male doctor to get help and be heard..
Hey Katherine I’m so sorry to hear about your son that is just terrible I can’t even imagine how hard that was but I just wanna go ahead and apologize (if you do read this) if this is really long but after watching this I really need to talk about my dermoid cyst experience I’m going through atm.. Well to start off hi my name is Faith and I’m 23 I had been losing weight and couldn’t gain it back it was even hard to eat.. I got into my last relationship in 2019 and on birth control the same year which is around the time all this started happening. But fast forward a few years were broken up but met up and had some fun (if you catch my drift) but while we were I got this sharp unbelievable pain that wouldn’t go away. I couldn’t even move it just made it hurt more so I had to lay in his back seat while he took me home.. I even had to resign at my job cause I had gotten down to 95 pounds but a few months later I go to my gynecologist and tell her everything.. She took an ultrasound and found one on my left like you (oh but idk why they made you drink a bunch of water they made me empty my bladder) and also found out the birth control they put me on are for women who’s had children so I have one that’s too big for me. A few months later tho they ask me to come back in for a check up on it and I can’t even believe I’m saying this but they found one on my right one as well… I had looked it up and it’s 1 out of 10 cases this can happen to so I guess I’m that lucky 1🥺 this has been really hard on me cause I don’t have the money to even pay for it right now cause my dog had a few cyst also and I decided to do her surgery first.. Hi Faith I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. To be honest it is an expensive procedure and I myself couldn’t afford it. Ultimately I still decided to go through with it as at the end of the day your health is so important. I went on a payment plan with my hospital, maybe you can work out a plan with yours too. Hey. I feel like we are in the exact same boat. I just left the gynecology oncologist and I have a sermons cyst apparently on both ovaries. I have sharp pain during intercourse sometimes but not all the time. He mentions the laparoscopy too. How did it go for you? Please let me know
Hi Datija thank you for commenting! My doctor went back and forth on what surgery was best (laparotomy vs laparoscopy). He ended up doing the laparoscopy and I am now almost 3 weeks post op. I’ve had a great experience so far and all of the symptoms I had prior (pelvic sharp pains, dizziness, etc are all gone). First few days were painful during recovery. Not so much the incisions but the gas that they apply during the surgery may cause pain for some people for the next few days. My incisions are almost fully healed. Feel free to message me if you have any additional questions!
@@ohhellokat thank you so much for the response Kat. It really helps me get mentally prepared for my surgery just knowing what to expect. And I’m so glad you’re feeling better. When they give you the anesthesia, how long does it feel like the process went?
