My brother died from colorectal cancer in 1973 at the age of 20. My sister died almost 25 years to the day from the same at age 47. I went to a plant based diet seminar at Kaiser 2.5 years ago with a friend because she didn't want to go alone. I silently made fun of it as I walked in and I walked out a vegetarian and have been vegan now for 6 months. Best decision I ever made.

Apparently, pescatarians have less colon cancer than meat eaters and vegans.

Plants inflamed my colon giving me extreme ulcerative colitis, a zero fibre meat based diet CURED me, clinically. Watch out for damage to your bowel mucosa lining with all of those plants.

I live in South Africa, Johannesburg. My lifestyle may be suburban but the food I eat is 95% WFPB just like our lovely people from the rural areas. The study conducted on the individuals from KwaZulu Natal (KZN) was rather fascinating. Thank you so much for such an informative video. God bless 🙂🌱

Thanks for having Dr. Desmond and Dr. Barnard on. What excellent information on the gut, statistics, the "Fat, Fiber and Cancer Risk in African Americans and Rural Africans" study, and advice. So much to learn and live for.

I agree on the value of a plant based diet and have a lot of respect for The speakers....but its dissapointing to see them make everything a racist issue. Its diet....cultural foods are often quite unhealthy....commerce will market to whoever will buy their products...the only color they care about is green. We have to be more wise and rise above marketing...propaganda...and even our culture.
Scripture...science and logic are essential factors that have opened my eyes to this health and diet topic.
We are all made in God's image...may we all come to faith in his Son and reach towards our God given potential...live long and live strong while here on earth!
    God bless
    :)

Is diverticulitis has more chances for vegan or vegetarian to develop due to nuts and seeds intake? Perhaps, some meat eater develop diverticulitis due to lack of good gut bacteria.

HDvids 101 Based on deductive reasoning, it’s absurd to think Dr Barnard is promoting KFC chicken, especially when he champions the cause to end the animal cruelty. His Twitter appears to celebrate the fact that people are intrigued about, and lined up for, the chicken alternatives at KFC in Atlanta.

Try Ken Berry, he considers hot dogs and bologna healthy. You might want to pick up a pack of Marlboros as well.
