Carolina Lakes is one of my new favorite courses in the Charlotte area; with championship distance and challenging obstacles it will REALLY test your game.
Carolina Lakes located in Indian Land, SC is probably one of my least fav CLT area courses. As a Senior golfer, you don't get much of an advantage from the forward tees and it's over 7000 yards a Par 72 course with way too many bunkers for my tempo. I do like #16, 202 yard Par 3, over water and bunkers like the Sahara. A hole with striking visuals with a mix of water and sand.
Hey Alan. I’m playing Tobacco Road next week on my way through NC. Looking for an excuse to stay and play another course in that area. Any recommendations?
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf Sounds good. I’m not opposed to traveling. I know you spoke highly of Sequoyah National but wasn’t sure what Winter golf would be like there.
course has a nice lay out
Super fun course layout, one of my favorites in the area for aure
Heading out here on Saturday! Looks like a fun track
It's a great one but avoid those fairway bunkers haha

Been a few years since I played there, tough track and greens are very challenging, rates in recent times are just too high for my taste
Definitely a fair challenge from start to finish id say
